REAPER I didn't know what love was but i knew what want was, and I wanted Abby. When I walked out of the club and saw her I was stone cold sober. She was quietly beautiful and unlike any other woman I'd had before. But she was the daughter of the president of Satan's Sons MC. . . and completely out of my reach.
ABBY Everyone knew The Reaper and how he got his name, so I never expected him to be my salvation when my sister's drunk boyfriend wanted to lay hands on me. I thought my innocence would be lost in that alley until he showed up and saved me. I know being with Reaper will lead to trouble but I don't know if I have the strength to stay away. Being together might be dangerous but outlaws are meant to break the rules.
... where did all these good reviews come from. The writing was all over the place and the H/h said and did so many contradictory things I was left constantly confused. So many things didn't make sense. Like why they needed to figure out who Vivian was?? She literally just told you who she was what's to figure out. I also really didn't feel a connection with the mains I thought Reaper was an a** . Im mad she didn't choose Brad he was a way better chose and I wpulda been so happy if the book went that direction. This book is so damn long and you're telling me there is still two more books??? No thanks
I received an ebook in exchange for my honest opinion and honest it shall be. 2.5 stars I do not like New Adult Romance genre much. But Biker clubs are a weakness of mine. And just look at that cover. I totally had the hots for Reaper from first glance. I knew what sort of story it was going to be. After being familiar with bike gang workings (Binge-watched SOA), I had an idea of what I was getting into. What I did not expect was getting sucked in so badly on an emotional level. Let's talk about the good stuff first: Reaper's character was messed up and flawed but that is exactly how I like them. And while I liked Abby in the start, her character just became more and more bitchy which made me dislike her immensely. But there was one portion of major badassery on her part that showed her as a strong female protagonist. Alas, it did not last long. The bond of the club. I love reading about that. Brad and Drake. When these characters were introduced, I seriously thought they would have a major role to play because I liked them so much. I would have been happy if Abby had ended up with any one of them. But then I reread the book title. Not happening. The plot is nothing unique but still interesting enough to keep you reading till the end. Stuff I didn't like: Maybe it was because I had the ARC, this book had way too many typos and errors. Hopefully, that won't be the case with the published book. The repetitiveness. Similar dialogues, everyone calling the girls 'babe' all the time (so damn annoying), and the love/hate relationship. One second Kim and Abby are in full on sister mode, the next they are at each other's throats. Same with Abby and Reaper. It gets old after a while. The cheating factor and being forgiven for it so easily. Yeah yeah I get it. That's what happens. The relationship between bikers and their old ladies is messed up. But doesn't mean anyone could forgive it so easily.
Overall, it was a good enough read because messed up as it may be, it was an enjoyable book. And once you connect with the characters, there's just no way to let go. I brand this as one of the guilty pleasure reads. As long as you turn off the sensible and righteous part of your brain and just read it with emotions, it will be a good book for you.
I received this book in ebook format in exchange for an honest review.
If you follow my goodreads or youtube channel, you know that motorcycle club based books are a weakness of mine. And my obsession with that started when I stumble across the TV show, Sons of Anarchy. I loved the grittiness of the plot line, and how not everything was white or black. I also really like the brotherhood that the MC was based on. Overall, it was a great TV show that really took hold of you.
Now, Reaper's Claim had some of those aspects within the story, but I don't feel like they were executed as well as they could have been. For one, I think the story was dragged out, and the plot was just going in circles. Another thing that wasn't my favorite thing was the repetition within the inner monologue of the characters and the dialogue as well. In my opinion, it wasn't needed and if the book was shorted I probably wouldn't of mind it, but after the first 100 pages it started to get annoying. And my last gripe is in regards to the characters. I felt like there wasn't much to them layers wise. Don't get me wrong, that one layer was a great foundation for their personalities, but they definitely could've had more depth to them.
But not everything was bad, this story had some good qualities to it as well. The first one being how it is super entertaining and easy to read. I really liked the setting and how it reminded me so much of Charming (Sons of Anarchy reference). Plus, I have a thing for small towns. I like how cute they are. Lastly, I want to focus on our two main characters, Kade and Abbey and comment on Kade's protectiveness towards Abbey. I really liked that that was a constant within the story whether he was protecting her from people want to harm her, getting in danger's way to maintain her well being or even sacrificing his own feelings in order to keep her safe.
Overall, I think this is an entertaining read, and if you like motorcycle club based books you can check this one out.
This really does seem like it might eventually led somewhere decent, but I just don't have the patience for it. The 'heroine' Abby and her sister are arguing every other page, and I mean calling each other horrible names and threatening to off each other. Her sister, Kim, is Abby's biggest bully in school, but then Abby suddenly grows a spine at home and tells Kim she'll knock her teeth out. Uhh, which one is it? Reaper seems like an ok guy, but *shrugs* don't really care. The tipping point was that some really traumatic things happened in the 2 yrs Abby and Reaper are apart and it's just glossed over in a matter of sentences and I'm like wtf? That's it? Then I read this... “You are ruining my life." And just couldn't take the immaturity anymore.
This was my first book by this author and I will 100% read the next book from this series cause of the cliffhanger but, that being said I don't really know how I feel about this book. Which is a first for me, lol. I enjoyed the general plot and storyline but, I hated and I mean absolutely fucking hated Abby!!!!! She was annoying, childish, bratty & I swear manic!!! She started out the sweet and innocent virgin giving it up to Reaper/Kade then turned into a raging slut over sometimes imaginary situations just to get a reaction. And Reaper wasn't any better, he didn't think he was deserving of Abby and how should he rectify that, why by sleeping with other girls from the club cause that's how you become a better man, lol. They loved each other one second hated each other the second. I couldn't keep up of there status.
Now I normally love a train wreck which I assure you Abby & Reaper were but, in this book I just hated the heroine so much I couldn't focus on the story. The writing was good though and like I said I will read the second book cause of the cliffhanger. I just really hope Abby redeems herself somehow in the next book, I mean if Abby was real I would seriously advise her getting medicated lol.
This is an actual DNF at 31%, but had to mark as read so it’s off my shelf. My god, this book is so long even from where I stopped - nothing romantic happens at all. I’m not familiar with MC romances, but the way this was advertised on IG, it had a good premise so I gave it a try. And so far, it’s not delivering what I’m expecting.
1. Cheating.
2. Characters are contradictory to their own personalities and motives.
3. It completely skipped over Abby and Reaper’s first time together and then it jumps to 1 year later and so on? This book is all over the place. Does it fade to black on every sex scene? For an MC romance, I fully expected steam, because ya know, hardcore bikers and all. 🤷🏻♀️
4. My god, the sisters are at each other’s throats every other page. Damn annoying.
5. Speaking of damn. The bikers and women are saying fuck every other sentence, but they say “darn” instead of damn?! What?
6. From the first chapter, it seems like the author really liked the show Sons of Anarchy and then thought to write a “romance”. Mind you, I’ve never watched the show, but it gave the impression that that’s what the author was really trying for…and was unsuccessful.
7. Needed to be edited better. There were some wrong words used, misspelling.
8. The story was so clunky, it was really hard to follow the timeline of events. Like I said, it suddenly jumps ahead one year and then supposedly days pass between other events and it’s hard to keep up. There’s no transition to tell when things are happening.
9. At 31% I had to look at reviews and people are saying this goes onto more books? No way. I should have done what I normally do and read reviews first before investing time I will never get back.
10. Repeat: the IG ad does not truthfully advertise the type of story you will be getting.

Motorcycle club romances seem to be one of the most popular kinds of romance novels out there. Another extremely popular one is the millionaire – and this is what I usually end up reading. I don’t know why such is the case, yet it is. However, after reading Reaper’s Claim, I’m of the belief that I now need to start picking up more of those motorcycle club reads. There are a few sitting on my Kindle waiting to be read, but if this one is anything to go by, then I’m going to need more.
I’ll start by giving a warning: this book ends on such a cliff-hanger. I went in believing it was a complete story, a standalone, so you can imagine my surprise when I reached the end and had an ‘oh gosh, what happens next’ response. I’m not going to give any specifics about the ending, as nobody wants spoilers, but know it really will leave you wanting to read the next book. Honestly, it was so good. As I was reaching the end I was questioning whether the happily ever after would occur, I was asking how ever thing would be tied up, and then that happened. So yes, fair warning that the ending is one hell of a cliff-hanger. I mean, if anyone can tell me what comes next right now, I’ll gladly pay the asking price for answers.
The whole book was like the ending, in a way, though. It was super addictive. I couldn’t put it down for any period of time. Whenever I had the chance, I was opening up the Kindle app on my phone so that I could squeeze in a few more pages. Every single scene left you with questions of what was to come next, every aspect of the story leaving you wanting more. Honestly, I cannot begin to explain how addictive the story was. It’s been a while since I’ve been this addicted to the story. Good books will always be hard to put down, but this was something else entirely.
The book starts out with a bang, quickly pulling us in. I admit that the way in which things start has been done before, but it works. There was nothing wrong with bringing our two characters together in the way that they were. From then on, we’re following life events that bring the two main characters together and drag them apart. It’s a collection of mistakes and dramatic moments, showcasing how their love can battle anything that is thrown their way. I’m not going to lie and say all the events were great, but as a whole I had a lot of fun with them. There were many emotional scenes, many edge of your seat scenes, and they came together to outweigh the scenes I wasn’t crazy about.
In terms of scenes I wasn’t crazy about it was due to a couple of things: some stupid choices made by characters (they made quite a few throughout, but some really had me rolling my eyes and wanting to shake them for their clear stupidity), the fact that some of the scenes seemed repetitive (not in terms of the details of the scene, but in terms of the feelings, how we constantly seemed to be pushed to play out the same themes), and the fact that it seemed as though too many ideas were thrown into one book. The final part links in to how I now know it to be a series – I feel as though this story would have played out a bit better if these scenes were split up between books, rather than being one large collection of crazed events.
Nevertheless, as I said, I was completely addicted to the story. I was addicted to the romance between our main characters, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the stories of our side characters as well. We’re given such a great cast, that it’s impossible not to fall in love with multiple characters. Add in the fact that the men in this story are the kind of bikers you expect to see – and, well, you know you’re going to be wanting more of them. The whole dynamic between the characters, the way in which so many of the characters develop throughout the story, is wonderful. They really did come to life before me, hence why I cannot wait to get my hands on the next read.
Overall, I loved this one. It was addictive in the best way possible, and the ending left me annoyed because I’m yet to be able to pick up the next book to receive answers to all of my lingering questions. If you’re a fan of motorcycle club romances, then I certainly recommend giving this one a read.
As a final note, I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with a copy in exchange for a review.
The heroine goes from a smart, nice virginal girl to a raging bitch after her and Hero hook up and he “vanishes” - he didn’t actually vanish he had left a note but she didn’t see it.
She came off as extremely immature and a major bitch to everyone around her.
Then shes hooking up with some guy who turns out to be Hero’s younger brother ofcourse!! and thats where I stopped. I hate knowing she had a relationship with both so I’m out.

I don't normally leave reviews...but for this one I will.
I love a good MC romance. Hell, I love a good romance. So I was excited to read this one based off of the synopsis. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.
My first problem with this book was it was never clear on where this was taking place. Based off certain weather and scenery descriptions, I assumed it was the states. However, everyone was definitely from the UK. I found myself having to mentally change out certain words so that it fit with my preconceived notion of it being in the states based off opening descriptions. That alone was highly annoying.
The second problem I came across was how juvenile the writing was. All of the problems were petty and very repetitive. I would normally assume that a reasonable and logical adult is not going to keep repeating the same problems with the same people once the initial issue has been resolved. However, I was very wrong with this book. The characters spent more time fighting and isolating themselves over their hurt pride than furthering the story along. This book could have really been edited down by a lot. It probably also would've made it better.
The third problem was all the POV switching. I understand switching POV's between the main characters, but secondary characters are not necessary. It just adds to the book being a lot longer than necessary.
The fourth problem was the repetitive use of names and certain phrases. Yes, I know who this character is talking to, there is no need to use that character's name every single time they are being addressed or even thought of. A simple he or she would suffice once it is established which character is being spoken to or thought of. Also, I know what being called The Reaper means. There is no need for it to be re-iterated every time there is conflict with this character. The same goes for certain reoccurring themes and arguments. This book became very repetitive very quickly.
Overall, this book was poorly written. It could've been a great story, but it needs a lot of help to achieve it's potential. Maybe in a few years with some more writing experience under her belt, this author could be fantastic. Unfortunately for now, I will definitely not be picking up Reaper's Rival.
Such mixed feeling about this book. It's really somewhere between a 2 and a 3, and was very nearly a DNF.
I wanted these characters to fall in love and I wanted their story to give me butterflies. But what I got was Amy being besotted with Reaper, and Reaper taking advantage with what is forbidden (young daughter of the MC President).
So their story is a car crash. As a reader you know they get together, you know she's besotted, and you know he never says much and pretty much keeps her out of the majority of his life.
For example he hooks up with her now and then, tells her he loves her, whilst still vanishing on her for days, not talking to her for days, and still hooking up with other people.
Biker MC reads a not new to me but this author is. I’d have to say this story is better than I expected.
I don’t know how to actually take this story but I do have to say it’s full of action and packed with some twists some laughter to it, but it’s one that you’d not want to put down.
When I first read the book description of ‘Reaper’s Claim’ this book sounded like a very fun read. I haven’t read many MC novels, but the ones I did read I loved so I decided to accept the review request and started reading as fast as I could.
To me this is a very hard review to write because I had so many different feelings about this book. But I’m going to try to write them down the best I can. When I started reading ‘Reaper’s Claim’ I found myself being easily fascinated by the characters. Abby is the daughter of a MC leader and she has always been surrounded by dangerous man. I loved how she was able to stand up to these crazy man. Reaper was a tough, mysterious guy who had a big soft spot for Abby, and I loved reading things from his point of view. He was a little scary but there was so much mystery surrounding his character which I really liked.
One of my biggest issues with this read was the on and off relationship between Abby and Reaper. There were so many times that they got together, and bam they broke up again. I get this point if it happens one or two times. But in ‘Reaper’s Claim’ it must have happened at least five times. It really irritated me. So much so that I really didn’t like reading this book a view times.
My other issue was that this book was very long. It just didn’t seem to end. But the publicist let me know that they are going to split the book in two books. Which really is a great idea and will make this read much easier to read to other readers I think. And the last issue I had was that there were just a view moments in this book that I felt like I was missing a bit. For example the moment Reaper comes back into Abby life after two years. There is no mentioning of how these characters felt after seeing each other again after a long absence. No, they just look at each other and talk like nothing happens. I just didn’t get that.
Rating this book is extra hard. I did enjoy several moments about this read. But most of all I just felt a little frustrated. Although I first wanted to go for the two star rating, I think it is impressive that the characters where interesting enough to keep me wanting to finish this read, so I’m going for three stars.
"The regret boiled within his eyes and his face twisted with guilt. "I'm sorry darling, I know you can't forgive me for this yet, but I wanted you to know I'm sorry. Sorry. Did it even fix it? Why do people think they can do awful things and then just throw sorry at the end of it like all is forgiven.".....
Abby Harrison is the daughter of Jed Harrison. Jed is the President of Satan's Sons Mother Charter. Her and her twin sister, Kim, grew up among the bikers and under their protection.
One night, in a dark alley behind the clubhouse, Kade saves Abby. From there things change in ways neither was expecting. Kade is also known in the club as "Reaper." You can imagine why.
The story takes place over the next few years. As the girls go from 16 years old to adults. Bad things can happen to the daughters of a biker president, and those that try to keep them safe. Kim and Abby are about as opposite as they can be.
Hard story line, adult language, violent situations. What you'd expect from a biker story, and then some. Fast paced, with characters you'd probably think twice about hanging around with. I loved them! I think Abby's character was the biggest surprise. What you think of her, and then what she's capable of. Wow!
Kade lays his claim to Abby, but does he really think he can get around her dad? Does Abby even want him to? This isn't a love story exactly. More of a tug of war of hurt feelings, heart breaks, and misunderstandings. Great ending! Please be a series!
I am still torn on this book. Reaper is stubborn he wants to claim Abby but he wants no obligation to protect her. This is stupid because he loves her he would protect her with his own life so I don't get this keeping them apart. When he finally claims her, her dad the club prez demands he goes on the road to keep them apart. There is so much pushing and pulling and jumping from one hook-up to another it got on my nerves. I like it when they at least love the other enough to try to stay true but not the case here. The first time Abby thinks Kade leaves her she jumps with the first guy she meets....oh and after being with him for over a year it turns out he is Reapers brother. The thing is he cheats on her constantly but she stays with him. I want to see if they get their happy ever after but not sure if I want to go through so many books to find out. They act so childish which Abby is only 19 now but still they flaunt other people to each other all the time they act like children to a degree.I'm going to go to the second and from there I will have to figure out if I want to keep traveling this story enough to find out.
Abby is the daughter of the president of an MC. She is off limits but bikers break rules all the time! She maybe young but she knows what she wants! Her life was never normal and this is all she has known! But the guy she falls for is Reaper and that’s his name for a reason!
This was a bit messy for me. All over the place. One second she is sweet and innocent and next she is worse than him. There’s a lot repeated: he annoys her, she runs, acts like a douche.. repeat. All quite a few spelling mistakes or incorrect words used due to spelling.
So the TikTok that made me read this was like a bait and switch. It did not match the story at all. I stuck it out waiting for the scene from the TikTok for it to never happen.
With that said, the comments on the TikTok lead me to believe it was a stand alone and not a series. My fault for not researching more. It ends on a cliffhanger.
IMO it was a good plot, but there was a lot of filler that was unnecessary, and even though the MFC was "in love" with the MMC she had all these incidents that made her feel more for other guys. It just was really weird to me.
The age gap was FUCKED, why was she 16 then he waited till she was 18 like eww and we never really find out the age of reaper so that creeped me out.
This could have been a very well done MC serise but I’m dropping it as I have no interest to find out if they end up together.
They are both twisted and toxic and not in the good way. She’s so stupid too with the whole your leaving me when he’s been sent of a job like babe get a fuckin grip.
I would recommend this and I’m definitely dropping it after this book.
I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. There were things that I wasn't too happy about, like all the back and forth between Reaper (Kade) and Abby. It eventually began to play like a broken record, one minute they loved each other, the next minute they weren't talking. I wanted them to be together so much because it shows that even though he is bad for her - they could make it work. But there was so much that I loved and so much that annoyed me about this book. I'm going to break it all down for you...
Abby Harrison; I really liked her character in the beginning I thought that she was sweet and that she was going to fall for the "bad guy" and that things were going to be rough. But that was all an understatement. When it comes to Abby she is a little bi-polar I feel like one minute she was in love with Kade and the next minute she didn't know what she wanted with him, because he looked at her the wrong way or something. I love how she was when she was with him, but with Drake it was different, I didn't like how you knew that she was just using him to avoid her feelings of being hurt and grieving from Kade. I feel like as special as losing her virginity to Kade was supposed to be, after she slept with him - that she kind of just became a hoe. Just because when things didn't go her way, she tended to kiss random boys, or sleep with random men, and I don't really like how that happened. It kind of did make her look like a club house whore. I understand that she was upset, but sleeping with a million people doesn't make less problems, it makes more. She is quick to jump to conclusions - and she is terrible at hearing people out, when she's mad or upset, and I think that she of all people would understand that to all the boys that she lives with the club will always come first, anything that Roach tells them they will do in a heartbeat - it's their family and it's their unspoken law.
Kim Harrison; in the beginning I was very confused with Kim, I didn't like her she was snobby nose brat who was used to getting what she wanted and I wasn't sure why she acted that way. I was annoyed with her in the beginning of the book and I didn't care for her much. But once they moved to Aunty Amanda's house, I was shocked to learn that she had become a goody-goody and was in university and what not. But it seems that as soon as Kim and Abby went back to the club house they were quick to go back to their old ways, Kim and Trigger as well - with no regrets, and without even holding onto a sliver or who they were back at Aunty Amanda's. I just feel as though neither Abby or Kim hadn't learned anything as they continue to do everything they did prior to the move without growing up - or without learning anything from their previous experiences.
Kade (Reaper); he's kind of a dick, I understand why and I know that he has a reputation and he doesn't know how to feel and that he isn't used to having a weakness and what not. But I just think he's so wishy-washy had I been Abby I would've bounced after the hundredth time he didn't know what he wanted. Reaper is definitely someone who is stuck between a rock and a hard place, and I think a lot of guys could relate to that, just because most of them don't think they're good for a girl - so they bounce, but they return because they miss them and it's just a big back and forth kind of game. I do understand why he would think that he was no good for Abby it makes complete sense, but once a girl usually says that she doesn't care how bad you are and that they love you and accept you, it's time that you accept that, and just be happy with that person.
There were a lot of things that I loved about this book - like the plot and the storyline, but I think that most of the situations that were going on could've been dragged out a little longer, instead of a rush in the story. I loved how much went on, but I felt like so much of it was rushed that you kind of get reader's whip lash because you're trying to remember the last ten things that happened in the last two chapters (I am totally over exaggerating but still it felt like that sometimes). I really did enjoy this book though it was a good read and it only took me three days which is an accomplishment when it comes to having two kids and a whole house to take care of. So I would say that was an accomplishment. I enjoyed it, but I hope that in the second books things slow down just a little bit because this book moved a little too fast for my liking.
First off wtf the h clearly has multiple personalities the flip flop of them will hurt your head. The story just seems to jump jump and jump the number of times I had to stop and start this book literally was ridiculous. Definitely felt like the author had a plot board with many different plots that she was jumping between. Annoying characters, I've read many book where the h are young but fudge me if this h acted more like a 5 year old then the 18/19 that she was. Also kinda leaves ya with a nasty taste that the H even knowing the h twist at 16 was fucking the VP and said nothing tho she's the President kid yea don't feel like that would be the case in a MC. Worst MC book I've ever read.
This story is definitely delish and dark! Dangerous and devouringly good!
Kade and Abby The Reaper and the biker princesses is a superb and we'll written story with heat and passion anger and lust a love for the club it's laws and foundations! But a love for each other that will change the path of their life's as they both know it! So much love and so much hate rolls between the pages of this book and the balance of the two is intertwined so perfectly! Thank you for a phenomenal story! ~ Aleisha Maree
Abby lives in a club, since her dad is the president of a bikers club. This is how she first meets Reaper (or Kade) who is a member of another club, and is visiting with his club. She is instantly attracted to him, and turns out he is too, but in their first meeting they dont do much. Their relationship is REALLY complicated and occurs throughout a couple years in this book but it was really entertaining, there was a lot of drama both in their relationship and Abbys life in general.
From the first page I was hooked it wasn't my normal read for MC books but this was real gritty and had me sucked in down to the last page. I feel sorry for Abby but the men in her life are shaping her into something that she should never have been and it's pulling me in can it all change? I can't wait to find out
