Raised in a small town in New Hampshire by survivalist parents, seventeen-year-old Bobby Jeffries couldn’t wait to seize the opportunity to escape the atmosphere he was forced to grow up in. So when his family embarked on a cross-country road trip, he knew this would be his one and only chance to disappear for good.He takes refuge in a run-down taco stand called Señora Taco, where he is employed by the owners, Maria and Juan Salerno, as a cook under the alias of “Roberto Mojado.” Thanks to Roberto’s skills and business acumen, he helps turn the business around, ultimately becoming its owner and renaming it “Taco, Taco.”Events take a sour turn when a competitor comes to town called The Big Burrito, run by the shady Empanada brothers. Roberto begins receiving intimidating warnings, which threatens everything he’s worked so hard to achieve. He fights back. but the more he retaliates, the more he realizes this is no ordinary rivalry. The Empanada brothers mean business, even if it means hurting him and destroying Taco, Taco in the process.Throughout his tribulations, Roberto tries to navigate his dysfunctional love life, which fails in spectacular fashion in direct opposition to the success of his restaurant. How can a successful young man have it all when forces out of his control seem to be against him.
