Sofie and Dylan’s story is a sweet, heartwarming romance. Best friends since kindergarten, both are now adults and hoping for something more, something deeper. Each have been in love with the other since they were teenagers, but never revealed their feelings for fear of losing a best friend. Now Sofie has just graduated and is now a fully fledged veterinarian. She is returning to her home town and to Dylan. He is determined to finally declare his love for her and claim her as his own. A rather vague and awkward conversation with Sofie after her graduation makes him believe she only sees him as a friend, leading Dylan retreat and try to regroup. He doesn’t know that Sofie is also determined to change the nature of their relationship, to finally tell him she loves him. Everyone who sees these two together knows they have something special and are just waiting for them to discover it too. Her mother certainly knows they have a special connection. She has been trying to sever it since they were children. Her own bitterness over being a single mother and not having the life she imagined for herself has made her very critical, demanding and controlling of Sofie and every aspect of her life. She has made a decision that she expects Sofie to go along with, even if it means leaving Dylan behind. Sofie is torn. She must choose between love and duty. Dylan can only hope that she will choose love...and a future with him.

It wasn't a mystery that best friends Dylan and Sofie were perfect for each other, I was just waiting since the first book in the series if they would ever admit their feelings for each other. In this book I learned how controlling and manipulative her mother is and the lengths she would go to trying to keep Sofie near her. Her mother is lucky the state didn't take Sofie away for constantly leaving her alone at such a young age. I thought it was sweet how Dylan and Sofie knew in their hearts even if they didn't say it out loud that they were each others true love and it would be cheating if they were someone else. The Harts showed just how nice of a family they are taking young Sofie under their wing and loving her like one of their own.

Dylan and Sofie have been best friends ds since kindergarten. Dylan has been in love with her bit has not said anything because he wanted her to finish school first and didn't want to interfere with ot. Now that she has graduated je can let her k.ow. Will she return the love or did he wait to long I was glad that they finally got their story as a reader of the series you could tell there was something there that needed to be told. Great chemistry and characters. A very enjoyable read.

Dylan and Sofie are best friends but as they grew up they both began to have feelings for each other. She has always been pressured by her mother to do what she wanted even going to vet school but now she is back and she and Dylan have the chance to move forward with their relationship until her mother tries once again to get her to move to Florida with her and her grandmother. Loved this sweet romance and the characters are real and flawed.

Sometimes marrying you're best friend is the best decision you can make. A wonderful, enjoyable small town romance that has all the feels. A well written story line that pulls you in and keeps you turning the pages. The characters are well developed, easy to get to know and you can't help but love them.

Sofie and Dylan are best friends - have been since kindergarten. They're perfect for each other, but a misunderstanding keeps them apart for far too long. This is a wonderful small-town love story, a great addition to the series. It's a heartwarming book, with a strong focus on family and community.
