It's not as strange as it sounds. Some might even say I was the alien in this situation, seeing as this human was the interloper on this planet, one of many a species that comes through The Port. Blue Planeter habits die hard, I suppose. The real surprise of the evening was the third wheel I began to feel like as I met my date. Dates...?
He- they- Have two heads. Two males at odds, dual personalities the exact opposite in nature, in one body.
I'm always saying it could be worse, or weird, or... I'm not quite sure what tops constantly bickering conjoined two headed alien man- men? but I'm sure if this evening proves anything, I'm about to find out.
I had such high hopes for this one. I mean look at this crazy cover. I was so freakin excited to read this.
Unfortunately I had some issues that took away from the story for me. The story wasn't that bad, but the writing was rough. There was a lot of rambling and run on sentences, many of which weren't even complete. Like the author lost her train of thought the longer the sentence rambled on. Then to just top it off, there were so many alien words or references it overwhelmed everything. I realize it was done to be cute or quirky but there were so many. I think the author lost sight of the fact I had no idea what she's referring to. Once I finished the book I realized at the end there was a loonnnng glossary. I would have been just as annoyed having to flip to the back to see what she was saying every time as well. It was just over done.
I enjoyed Mani and Nyhddie. I really liked how down to 'Earth' and practical Kaida was. Once Nyhd came around in the latter part of the book, I started to get a little annoyed at the guys bickering. It reminded me of my kids lol. I was reading and thinking gosh I can't imagine dealing with that all the time.
I love super crazy, unique stories. I definitely love aliens that are very alien. Which Mani and Nyhd definitely were. Regrettably, with the writing issues that bothered me, and the bickering at the end it made this just okay for me. I'm rounding up because I liked the characters and the creativeness of the story over all.
This was recommended as a fun read. It was... somewhat entertaining but mediocre. The writing style is horrendous and there was no emotional depth. Also no one mentioned this story has rape so...
The good: 💫 This is the first romance I've read with conjoined twins. It was unique. One whole star for the representation. 💫 There was effort to do some unique world building. The execution is another topic... 💫 The characters have contemporary jobs. The protagonist works in shipping and the love interests own a restaurant. 💫 The tone is lighthearted and fluffy
The bad: ⁉️ The prose is erratic, rambling, cluttered, and clunky. It felt like the writing was done in one continuous stream without any editing. ⁉️ The numerous run-on sentences are horrendous. The worst was one run-on sentence with 89 words (yes, I counted) that was a whole paragraph by itself. ⁉️ The execution of the fusion of the space alien culture and Dakis/human culture was sloppy and inconsistent. ⁉️ There is no plot. They meet on the blind date, It was really repetitive and boring. ⁉️ It was confusing how much time elapsed. The main bulk of the story takes place but there are not enough references to the overall time that has passed. ⁉️ The constant bickering between the brothers got old fast. They acted liked two toddlers. Adults should not be immature and squabbling like this. It was very unattractive. ⁉️ Nothing against normal human bodily functions, but this is the first time I've read about a love interest breaking wind to purposely annoy his brother (the other love interest). It was really immature? I expect this from immature teenagers, not adult love interests. ⁉️ Kaida has no personality. She is nice and whines a lot about sweating and that's it. ⁉️ Nyhd and Manihd are bland as love interests. Also, ⁉️ The romance is shallow and too insta-love. ⁉️ The whole felt like a poorly contrived way to force them to meet again without using the typical
The no-no: 🚫 TW: Non-consent. Rape. 🚫 TW: Drugging. 🚫 I don't like Nyhd. 🚫 TW: Ableism. The word g*mp is used .
Definitely pass on this. There are so many better books out there. Especially if you are looking for a cute space alien romance (like I was) where there is no rape (also like I was), there are so many better options out there.
Due to the author's distinctly awful writing style, this will be the last book I read from Jeanette Lynn. Harsh but the truth. I can excuse the occasional typos and not so great average book, but terrible prose and a complete disregard of basic grammar is difficult to excuse. Also the surprise rape. I expect rape when I read dark romances. I don't expect it or want to read it in a marketed fluffy science fiction romance.
Without the representation, this would be a 0 star book. When I mentioned that it was entertaining, that's because I was curious if it would get better or worse. (FYI, it got so much worse).
Ok, this is a hilarious concept. She’s dating an alien with two heads—or two aliens with one body? Idk—anyway, drama unfolds because one of the heads doesn’t like her and the other likes her a lot 😆 I loved it, couldn’t put it down.
It was fun. Overuse on the nicknames, miscommunication and the dramatic break up, which are usually pet peeves for me. I liked the characters, the conjoined twin romance was interesting and I enjoyed the switch over from the twins before they got their attitudes sorted. The ending was sweet but I lost track of the names.

There was much that was explained far toooooooo late in the book description wise. It was aggravating. I don’t like being 60-70% in the romance novel and finally get the description of alien junk and even then I can’t quite picture how both because of the inadequate description. However, those are things that can be adjusted with editing.
The story in itself … I read the whole thing so it kept me intrigued and was better than the last one I attempted by the same author.
i honestly picked up this book because i was more curious than anything. i thought the whole concept was interesting but the execution was so hard for me to wrap my mind around.
what i mean is that i found it so hard to visualize how mani and nyhd looked like and how they interacted with kadia. so i guess you could say that it was a me problem.
it was hard for me to get into this book because both mani and nyhd didn’t exactly see eye to eye. usually when i read reverse harem romance, main characters are on the same page. this one however, they fought each other so much that i thought it was never going to work out.
kadia, was a whole different story. i truly did not understand how she could fall for them so quickly. they had sex very early in the book too —not that it matters. she was just too nice. at one point in the book nyhd did something unforgivable and very uncalled for but she somehow forgave him so easily.
if i were her, i would be confused with the mixed signals that nyhd was giving me but she kept on giving him second chances over and over again. and then after fighting his attraction to kadia so hard, all of a sudden nyhd was pushy and forceful with the whole relationship. it was just so weird. i don’t even know what to say.
This book was interesting......I liked the unique concept of two heads, two personalities but it had a lot of problems. First, there was an insane amount of run-on sentences. Too long with too much extra stuff. The writing included the charas thought process which added uniqueness but much of what was said was repeated, unnecessary or ramblings. I had to skim through pages to keep myself interested. I think the charas needed polishing, there was a lot of up and down in how they acted which showed in their problems. They really didn't know what they were doing most of the time so neither did I. The alien lingo was cool but very confusing. Although, there is a glossary in the back, it does not have all the alien words listed so I made up my own meaning. Overall, I think this book needed to be polished up and redone.
I really liked the premise of this one - A LOT - but the emphasis on groveling to regain a love you actively shit on is not my cuppa. I avoid bully books for this express reason.
I like the conjoined twins aspect. I was a little annoyed that the author went above and beyond coming up with alien terms for common stuff to show she’s not an Earth human, but then has them bopping to music the author obviously favors, which not only dates this (and the author and by proxy the reader because I knew all of the songs dammit) but misses a creative opportunity.
Because of the dark moment I ended up not enjoying either of the love interests because of how they handle it. Yeah yeah, to lengthen the plot and pull at heartstrings, but no thank you

Kaida was sweating her butt off. Not just because of this blind date but because of a medical condition. But she was going to be in for a surprise, because her blind date is actually a double. Conjoined twins, one who decidedly isn't happy with her independent ways.
Spoilers ahead. So, this has a lot of alien slang in it. Most of it is translated in the back of the book, but some you're going to have to guess at. Kaida is a hot mess. She cares for both, even as Nedhi tries to push her away. And after Nedhi's lie Mani pushes her away, too. It's a case of contrived miscommunication on several parts with poor Kaida not understanding why it's all coming at her. It has all the usual zaniness that Lynn is known for.
Different book, but the author's writing style took a lot to get used to. The first chapter was so off-putting that I almost returned the book. I continued and things did smooth out. The story dragged and I have a hard time believing the FMC wouldn't noticed that both guys are doing her at once- and since they are 2 guys sharing a body with 2 separate dicks it feels like she only agreed to have sex with the one but the other was there and decided he wanted some of the action too despite saying he doesn't like her. I didn't care for that aspect of the story.
*WARNING* intended for mature readers I'm going to say this was an alright story. My biggest problem was all the foreign names and words (that I either guessed at or made new). The inner ramblings of Kiada in the first few chapter where annoying to me . The Toll by this author is one if my favorite books, but this one, I didn't care for.🤷 As usual I'd suggest that you read this yourself and form your own opinion.

Taking place in a very interestingly unique world, Two Heads Are Behdder allows the reader to experience a multitude of emotions with twists and turns as the main characters explore what a blind date can see into motion. The good, the bad, and the ugly of dating is brought to life when three different personalities try to come together and make a go of it!
my what a awesome ride. This story had my heart racing and aching. The characters were so Enthralling I just couldn't put it down. heart pounding and gut twisting romance that plays the heartstrings. with aliens that look alien. With a well won happily ever after.
Very good book with aliens that are alien. This was a sweet, funny, interesting book that also had a sprinkling of suspense drama and some hot spice. The world building was great and I can't wait to read more stories from The Port. This was a good book with a great HEA would recommend.
I loved the MCC, their dynamic as conjoined twins was amazing. Their personalities are what caught me and drew me in. Very sweet and couldn’t put it down. Also very steamy which was what I was hoping. Definitely pick it up if you are looking for a a unique read with a sweet HEA.
This is a good, well written, SciFi RomCom romance. The characters are lovable, interesting, and well developed. Kaida’s race are related to Earth humans with some differences. She perspires more than most, especially when going on a blind date. Mani and Nyhd are from a lizard type of species and are nestmates. Read and find out how the blind date goes.
This book had me laughing, wanting to smack characters, choking up, smack another character, laughing some more, and awwwwww such a sweet ending. Definitely recommend if you love a quirky alien rom-com
Kaida was not exciting her date to have two heads. Nyhd and Mani are looking to settle down more Mani then Nyhd. The characters have miss understanding and things go too far. They almost broke my heart. But Jeanette always has away to redeem her characters.
Kaidee spent so much time in the beginning on her sweating condition and after she met the guys it was like everyone forgot about it. I liked the guys more than her
Sweet. Pg smexy times. It’s a insta live sorta and not. But the story line for two heads. It was well done just not anything like wow. It was a good story and that’s the end of it
I really liked this one and normally I’m not into the romances with more than one person but with this one it somehow worked. Loved the characters and there qwerks
