Do you know that precious feeling when you find a world, characters, a story, a mission that makes you smile everytime you remember them? that makes you pick up your book/cellphone/tablet to read that favorite scene? I feel that with this book, with these characters. I can't say with words how astonishing Bonded fate is and I KNOW that no matter what, the rest is going to be jaw dropping as well!
Can wait for Shattered Souls to come out!!!!

This book is definitely NOT for the faint of heart, or mind, soul, feelings, body, you name it and I’m serious about this. Putting aside the greatness of this book the first fifty percent of it has a lot of heart breaking moments where the characters are hurting in ways I can’t describe, the book has a warning and I agree with it, not just for the intend of suicide but also because the characters are in a dark place while trying to reach the light in this book and that might depress some readers, so yes, my heart was hurting for this characters, I felt their pain because the book didn’t just put it there, it also explained where was coming from, it had real reasons to be and while I would say talking about that pain or insecurity would have resolved the problem I understand 100% that being in a position like that is not simple. It’s amazing to be able to read a book and be so into it that you think of these characters as real people and I loved this world and book because of it.
…All we can do is strive to live each day we are given to the fullest and leave the world a better place once we are gone.”
Okay, going back to the greatness of this amazing book. While the dark moments were there these people never stopped moving. This is the kind of story where the characters are jumping –whether they want to or not- from problem to problem. The book starts right where the first one ended and they IMIDIATLY have to face a problem and enter in a fight. If they are not in some kind of trouble they are facing their inner demons, their deepest fears, hopes, desires. In summary, there’s not a moment of rest while reading this book. I hardly found three full chapters in a row where they are okay, in no danger and being themselves and happy, so I had my heart in my throat the whole time.
Letting their fingers link together, Cassiel found her hand fit perfectly in his.
Is amazing how Beck exposed her characters in this book even more. My logical brain tells me that they haven’t been together for long but still I accepted their relationships because of how they are in the book. The characters are so raw that I feel like I have been reading about them for years when in reality I just started this year. I said this with the first book and I’ll say it again, this world is AWESOME. I could see some of this world in the first book and some more in this one and I can’t help but feel I’ll see way more AMAZING things in the next books. This story took me step by step to understand the characters, their quest, their struggles so that when some things are happening I felt happy, angry, sad or whatever feeling the moment asked of me.
There was a rightness to it. She fit perfectly by his side, in more ways than one. But he shouldn’t want this. Wanting, desiring something more than he’d ever had before, was terrifying. Foolish. It had to be wrong. He knew it deep in his bones.
I loved the world that much is clear, I FREAKING LOVED the characters –Dyna, Cassiel, Zev, Rawn, Lucenna, even Fair the horse- I felt bad for some others –Von- and hated the evil ones of course –even though I feel curiosity for Tarn and can’t help but think that he is going to feel something towards Dyna-. The characters that I KNOW are coming back were awesome as well as those that are just there for a moment, everything in the characterization in this book is awesome, the characters don’t feel there just to fill an empty space and I truly love when that happens in a book.
“He’s so silly.” Lucenna hugged the horse’s neck and discreetly whispered in his ear, “Hush or I’ll braid your mane with frilly bows.”
Fair settled with the tiny threat
“Would it be forward of me to kiss you?”
“Yes,” Dyna whispered with a smile. Her bright green eyes held his as her hands settled on his chest, where his rotten heart thrummed. “It would be.”
I was a bit slow to see who the other guardians are but when I finally understood I was beyond excited. I loved the chemistry between the characters, I loved every good moment Dyna and Cassiel had, I loved the moments of comedy like the scene from the bar everything in this book just feels right.
I have to admit that I have gone to sleep and I have woken up thinking about how things in the third book are going to happen. I CAN’T BELIEVE I have to wait an entire YEAR to read the next book. This is real torture!!!!! Anyway, this book is perfect. For those reading this give these books a chance<3
