Hands-On Metaphysical Books
This author of metaphysical and spiritual books has combined four of them in this volume: Psychic Development, Mediumship, Divination, and Pendulums. While many of her books are more esoteric, each of the books in this 4-pack is more hands-on, helping the reader develop their psychic abilities in general as well as with mediumship, forms of divination, and working with pendulums. I particularly enjoyed the Psychic Development (an overview book) and Mediumship books, though all the books in this collection are decent reads. Here are my reviews of my two favorite books in this collection.
Review of Psychic Development: Survey of Psychic Development Topics
I have read many books by this author, and this particular book on psychic development provides a brief survey of several subjects that she expands upon further in books just about the single topics. This book includes chapters on psychic abilities, psychic tools, the astral body and travel, mediumship, telepathy, divination, clairvoyance, spiritual healing, and crystals. Given this book is only just over 100 pages long, the author does not spend too much time on any one topic. She gives you just a taste of her take on the subjects, though she does provide exercises here and there to help you develop your psychic abilities. If you've read no other books by the author, this is a great introduction to her beliefs and writing style that will help you see whether or not you would like to delve deeper into the subjects in the author’s other books.
Review of Mediumship: Work on Your Psychic Medium Powers
I have read a fair number of spiritual and metaphysical books by this author, and this has to be one of the most hands-on I've read. Other books of hers I've reviewed have been more informational rather than actionable. The author first explores what mediumship is and if there are clues from your childhood that suggest you may have had psychic leanings. She describes simple ways to start your psychic journey, like meditation and journaling. The biggest part of the book shows you how to key into your perhaps latent psychic abilities, including basics like how to protect yourself and set your intent as well as actively work on clairsentience, clairaudience, and clairvoyance. The book ends with contacting and working with the spirit world.
The working chapters have a LOT of exercises to help you attune to psychic energy or extra-sensory information. Some exercises are pretty cool, and the author does not come across as if she expects the reader to instantly form psychic connections or manifest psychic abilities. Certain exercises are meant to be done over and over to help strengthen any abilities the reader might have. I like that the author does not just focus on clairvoyance, which is what most people seem to think of when they think of a psychic medium. In fact, she starts by looking at clairsentience and clairaudience first. The former is about simply “sensing,” as happens in psychometry when you sense something about an object's owner by holding it, and the latter is if you hear things—not just voices!—beyond what human ears typically hear. Fascinating stuff! If you have any inkling you might have the gift of psychic mediumship in any of its forms, this book will help you understand if you do and help develop your talents. Highly recommended.

Love this book couldnt put it down. This book is filled with so much information that it is easy to understand
