University Press returns with another short and captivating biography of one of history’s most compelling figures, Seth Rogen.Seth Rogen may already be the most accomplished actor / comedian / writer / producer / director / humanitarian / entrepreneur of the 21st century. From stand-up comedy to big screen blockbusters, and from charity work to a bold new business venture, Rogen is a humble guy with a great laugh. But make no he is changing Hollywood, fighting disease, shaping public policy, and promoting a burgeoning industry.Born in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 15, 1982, Seth Aaron Rogen was raised by Jewish parents, started doing stand-up comedy at age 12, wrote Superbad at age 13, met Judd Apatow, dropped out of high school, moved to Los Angeles, landed a role in Freaks and Geeks, starred in Hollywood blockbusters, created an international incident involving North Korea, testified about Alzheimer's disease before the United States Congress, wrote and directed more movies, and started a promising new company. This short book tells the intensely human story of a man who is changing the world in a way that no one else can.
Just okay. Quick read, like super quick read. I expected a lot more out of the book. I felt like it just gave short facts and very public stories I already knew just by briefly reading things in the past on social media. If you know someone you can borrow the book from, then take the hour to read it. Don’t buy it.
I was excited to hear that there was a book about Seth. But i was disappointed. This book was very poorly written. Won't be reading any more from University Press.
I only wish it was longer. Also wish it and Yearbook weren't so similar. Would love to hear more funny stories about Seth, his amigos, and his accomplishments. Would also be interested in reading a book written by his wife.
