A different style of book.

Half of the book is inverted, which tells the story of the other Evacuee, Hannah, who has fled Germany. The book itself was a pretty easy read, probably more suited for teenagers, yet conveys an important teaching about different perspectives during WW2.

This book is good because it teaches you of how the jews lived like in World War ll and how the people in London lived like. Personally i think that Hannah's story was more interesting because she was a Jew it was harder for her as she lived in Germany under the rule of Hitler. she is evacuated with her brother hans but then he is taken away on the train because he is 16 and the train is only for ages 16 and under. She is taken to live in the countryside where she meets a boy called frank and his little sister violet.

I really enjoyed reading this book as it increased my understanding on world war 2 and gave me a clear picture of how people felt during the occurring of the world war. In my perspective, Frank's side of the story is the most interesting as he gives more depth into his thinking.
