I enjoyed this book but it is mostly smut. I did like the story line about a nosy grandma pushing her granddaughter (among others) to find her happily ever after. I just wish the story could stand on its own feet with or without the sex. It just seems rushed and relies on the sex to make it happen. The bonus story was similar in style.

Goldilocks or Goldie makes furniture for her small town and a small online business. Goldie lives with her grandma. Grandma Mara thinks Goldie works to hard and needs to go out more. Since Grandma Mara is quite the matchmaker, she has a plan.
Ben, Brax, and Bry are werebears. They are also brothers by choice, not by blood. The three guys run a spa and have talked with Grandma Mara about her granddaughter. Since they have no desire to settle down, they decided to Grandma a gift certificate for the spa and hope the talk of meeting her granddaughter was forgotten, especially after everything Stuart said.
This was a good story. Ordinary for how small towns talk. Scorned ex spreads lies and makes trouble. I liked that Goldie wasn't all girlie and dependant on the males. I liked how the author have a is a bit about their future. Many scenes written with 4 between the sheets. It was a good story, but like many I've read before.

Sexy, funny, atypical - this is not the story from your childhood. Goldi is coming off a bad breakup when her Grandma Mara sends her to the day spa. From there she meets the three bears. Three delicious, sexy, demanding, werebears who discover she's their mate. In this reverse harem, Cinders has recreated the fairytale in a lovely way which is enticing, fun, and deliciously sexy. It's a short story and a quick read.

This was a sweet story, focusing on choosing a non-traditional relationship over the possible recriminations of society. It was surprisingly heavy at times, but did have a nice HEA.

Is chapter one supposed to be Goldie being told to go to the Spa by her Gran? Because in this soft cover book I purchased it’s the very last chapter. There are also spelling mistakes… like it’s been sent to print accidentally before being finalized…
The book is short and the smut is decent. There needs to be a little more build up and description with the sex scenes but overall that part is fine. Can’t expect all that much from 90 pages, I guess.
The story is just a little cheesy and lacking but for what it is, it’s fine. Just needs more. It would be nice to have a copy of the book that isn’t a hot mess though…

Grandma Mara was the town matchmaker. Everyone knew how crafty she was. So when she asked Bryson to take a look at her granddaughter, he had a gut feeling she was up to something. Rather than insult or hurt her feelings, he offered for him and his buddies to give her a full priemer spa day anytime hoping his form of bribery would entice her to leave him and his private life alone. Goldilocks and her Grandma are close. Granny sees Goldi working herself into an early grave with
her woodworking ever since her breakup from Stuart three months ago. That's why she's set an appointment at the Tranquil Bear Spa. The three bears will make her feel like a new woman. S. Cinders always has a way of entertwining her characters with fantasy, love and passion with just enough angst to add an emotional element and then bring it to a ending that will leave you not only complete but content. What a great read!

Claiming Goldilocks is a modern day version of Goldilocks and the three bears. Except in this story, Goldilocks is a carpenter and the three bears are shifters. This story is short, fast paced and hot. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I liked Goldilocks. I liked that she was successful in her carpentry and she supported her grandma.
Some of the scenes in this story are kindle melting hot.
One thing about this story confused me a little. Bryson, Brax and Benton were friends. They classed each other as brothers but they weren’t related. Yet they all looked near enough the same that Goldilocks couldn’t tell Bryson and Brax apart?
I really hated Stuart and was so happy that karma bit him on his jerk ass. I loved the epilogue/so many years later part of the story, it was heart warming and sweet.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

I found this on Kindle Unlimited.
Well, it's smut. And for smut, it's actually pretty good. I did like that Goldie wants to get to know the brothers better and actually keeps them out of her bed for a few weeks. And when there was smexy times, it was fun to read for the most part. My big problem was when all four were together; they were doing things that weren't physically feasible. I've read 3 men and 1 woman before (D.L.Roan) and it didn't push my suspension of disbelief nearly as bad as this. Claiming Goldilocks just kept throwing me out of the moment with its "That's not possible!" situations.
BTW, the brothers are all about the girl and not in to each other.
Really, the whole thing reads like fan-fic and as such, I wouldn't pay for this outside of KU. But the story line is interesting.
Overall, it was amusing. I liked some of the other books in this series, and I wouldn't mind reading more from this author if it comes along. And is free.

Goldilocks has been working hard since her ex ruined her self esteem and her grandmother is going to change it. She asks one of the owners to give her granddaughter the works to help her feel better when she goes to the spa as she’s buying her a day of treatment. He realizes that she’s trying her hand at match making and try’s to agree to the treatment. He and his two brothers are bearshifters and own the spa so when Goldilocks shows up does their very best. They are all involved before you know it and it’s HOT! After the days over she has someone vandalizing her home and workshop. The guys want to keep her safe and move her in with them. They want to all be together, will they convince her to join them?

S Cinders writing is incredibly fun and flows amazingly in her Dark Fairytale Retellings. I have read most of them and I can say this series is one of the favorites of 2018.
Not only are the characters witty, kind of crazy, sexy, romantic and incredible. Each one of them had a personality that was very strong and distinctive.
The fact that Goldilocks for me is a tough book to make a retelling about... This author nailed it for me.
I would recommend this story. The blurb says all you need to know... wait... I forgot. Grams is a sneaky old lady *laughs*

This is such a fun adult fairy tale. I love the the little town, the other storybook characters and especially Grandma Mara. That woman is a hoot. Goldi's ex is mentally abusive and has been spreading rumors about her all around town. Bryant, Bryson and Benjamin are brothers by choice and own the town spa. When they meet Goldi and want to date her, they realize a relationship with her could potentially end their brotherhood. They come up with a workable solution for all of them. Trouble brews in town and Goldi and Grandma Mara are in the center of it. I did love how the bears automatically included Grandma Mara in all of the possible solutions to the drama in town. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Story wise this was just ok. I hated how similar the names were: Bryson, Braxton, and Benton. They weren't actually blood brothers, but they had similar names and apparently looked alike. After all, Goldie confused Bryson and Braxton and upon meeting Benton said ”another one." Why do they look so much alike? I also didn't care for some of the writing. Most people use contractions when they speak, but not these characters. It kind of made some parts stilted. Also I personally don't understand why the author chose to call this a dark fairy tale. There was nothing I would consider dark. One of the men is supposed to be a Dominant but there's nothing that serious in this book.

Goldie: Claiming Goldilocks is a fun paranormal romance by S. Cinders. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. It is a reverse harem book though, so it may not be for everyone. Goldie works with her grandmother at their furniture-making business. She takes her gift card for a spa appointment at the Tranquil Bear so she wouldn't hurt her grandmother's feelings. Bryson, Braxton and Benton aren't brothers but they are best friends and they do resemble each other...not to mention they're bear shifters. Bryson, Braxton, Ben and Goldie's story is packed with drama, humor, smokin' hot sexy bits, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book and would be happy to read more from S. Cinders. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

why would three guys who don't need to work open and operate a spa? seems an odd choice.
if they looked so alike that they could be confused why not make them brother or triplets?
this story relied too much on the idea of the original story and smut that the story didn't really have much to add.
i liked that the story was told from each characters point of view and that there was relationship, time and sex with each individual guy and goldie as well as them all together.
I also liked the book having an epilogue.

I have always loved the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, and this Adults version is just lovely. I thoughly enjoyed reading the book, but at the same time thought it would of had more story in it. But it was very good to read never the less.
In this Adults version, Goldi makes furniture and is perceived somewhat by locals as a tomboy, even her ex boyfriend used to give her grief because she didnt wear dresses. Goldis Grandma is known as a matchmaker, and sends Goldi off to the spa for a day of treatment. The Shop is run by three bears, each who really like her, but its up to the Brothers, if they want her they will have to join together and learn to share!

This quick read is the fifth installment in the Dark Fairy Tales Series. It’s also another entertaining interpretation from S. Cinders of a childhood tale we all know very well. This version however, is strictly for adults with several erotic ménage scenes. The story is both sensuous and humorous with a dash of intrigue. Once again, Goldie’s Grandma Mara has her finger in her matchmaking pie. Can three smoking-hot were-bears convince the feisty Goldie that she’s their true mate? Are the narrow-minded townsfolk capable of accepting yet another non-traditional union?

This is a sexy erotic retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and I loved every minute of it. This is definitely not your normal Goldilocks and the Three Bears all I can say is that it’s so sexy and so funny and such an original way the storyline was done. Instead of Goldilocks going into a cabin she goes into a spa and that’s where she meets the Three Bears. I loved grandma - Mara she may of been old but she had her wits about her and she was as sly as a fox lol she was such a great character. I loved this whole story and I wish I could give it a 5 plus +++++ ⭐️ read because this story deserves it. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

She is reluctant to become involved with anyone much less the three bear brothers. Bryson, Braxton, and Benton are all attracted to her and want to be her mates. This is such a fun story!!! I've read a few books by S. Cinders and they never disappoint. Claiming Goldilocks didnt [disappoint] either. This story was way better then my expectations and i fell in love with these characters and this world. The author weaves a delightful tale based off Goldilocks and the three bears but it is definitely not for children. Its a hot delectable story and if you love fairy tale retellings for adults pick it up and give it a try, you wont be disappointed either.

Goldilocks has been mentally abused by her ex so she no longer thinks she is desirable to men. Bryson, Braxton and Benton are bear brothers who happen to all want to claim Goldie as their mate. After getting to know one another the town turns against them as the relationship is outside of conventional ones. Goldie's ex tries to interfere but is stopped.

I’m not really a fan of shifters romance books. However I might need to rethink this after finishing the book! I loved it!! Goldie and her three bears kept me interested through the whole book! I actually read it in one sitting cause I couldn’t stop!

This is a intriguing, twisted retelling of Goldilocks. The story-line is impressive and well-written. The characters are well developed and interesting with individual personalities. There is enough drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, humor, sexual tension, passion, lust, love & steamy scenes to keep the readers interest. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and really would recommend it.

Just right....
Oh my! This isn't the fairy tale we grew up on. Nope, it's all grown up!! I love "adult" fairy tales...taking a story I loved as a child and making it sexy and erotic is perfect for the grownup I've become. "Goldilocks" was always a favorite and this retelling is a wonderful read. Makes me want a spa day!
