Landing in Scotland, there’s one thing that Beth has to do. Survive the Scottish weather and find the cottage that she inherited from her father. But her plans get interrupted by Logan Keltar, a feral, bearded highlander who looks at her as if he owns her. Taking charge, he’s not afraid to show Beth just how possessive and protective he is over her body. And her heart...
Safe & Scottish is a sweet and steamy, bite-sized read.
With the plot, it could be a four stars but it fell flat because it lacked detail, the character development is minimal and the reveal was so fast. If this was fleshed out more it would be an incredible story.
i needed more from it i feel like there are holes in the plot, about their past we get to know what they do for work but not about their past relationships i wish we had a few chapters of how he protected her from the shadows to feel more connection between them. But we only have to see her meeting him in her dad's house, spending the night being intimate, having a bunch of babies and that it. lol, i wished more dept.
Why did I read this? Why was this on someone’s virgin hero shelf? We have no proof of this. It was a short read. That is good. But too short to forgive the creepy reveal. And the sex… I didn’t even know they were having sex. I had to go back and reread. This is how you find out: “ Splayed in my bed with her hair flared over my pillow she takes my probing, her lids fluttering, her soft pants turning rhythmic. “Oooh...,” she whines with close to shocked eyes but she’s going to have to learn to accept the size of me, “I can’t b...breathe...”
