It's been four years since JAMILA took over the streets of Queens and all seems well in her nefarious lifestyle. The respect that she garners from the other Mafia families is immense, but things are about to take a turn for the worse. FRANKIE gets shot and left for dead. Will this signal an attack on Jamila's crew? Could her life be in danger somehow? And when someone from Jamila's past reappears and tugs the strings to her heart will she allow her emotions to interfere with her MOB TIES? Or will her level of gangsterism remain uncompromised? Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating Jamila's affairs and someone isn't honoring the Code of Silence. With so much against her, including a plot to have her murdered, will this mob boss finally get brought down? Or will those who plot her downfall incur a wrath like nothing the Burroughs have ever witnessed before?
My feeling for Jamila is bittersweet. I was salty when she killed Shawn but I still liked her but after killing Elisha, I’m conflicted bc I still want to like her bc she’s an extraordinary person but I don’t like her killing game. It’s like she trying to prove something. She’s tough but she’s overdoing it. She’s becoming power struck. I loved that she became the 1st female Don and a Black female at that but she’s appearing overbearing and a street thug bully. I don’t like those characteristics. But I’m still down with this series bc it’s so good. Thanks author for putting your all into this storyline and all these characters. Just 1 thing, find another editor. Editing errors can throw your whole story off.
Wow this lady is taking no prisoners. I don't see why they just keep coming for her like she is something to play with. They need to leave well enough alone. Fabio needs to prove to her that he can be trusted. I think she needs to get with Lorenzo, because he is more her speed. Let's see how this will all play out.
This book show you the true meaning of loyalty to your team and family one female who refuse to back down against all odds that you don't wont to cross
