This book is so incredible and so well written. I unfortunately was able to relate too much of the struggles Yedidya faced and it was so beautiful to see him grow. Like man this poor boy just couldn't catch a break! This book gave me so much chizuk and I am going to start implementing kol mah d'avid rachmana l'tav avid into my life. I cannot explain how therapeutic this book was- it is clear not only does the author have extensive Torah knowledge but also lots of knowledge in the Psychology department. I truly reccomend this book to anyone struggling or anyone who just needs some chizuk and to strengthen their emunah- it's done in such a clever way because you learn as yedida learns and grows its just so beautiful and I'm trying really hard to write a glowing review without spoiling anything. If you're thinking of reading this just do it!
Yedidya is a novel that reaches right to the core. It's a story of deep self-searching and self-realisation, compelling from beginning to end. I had great difficulty putting it down. Absolutely astonishing read and one of the best books I've read lately.
Wow what an incredible book. A thrilling, exciting, and way to relatable read- one that got me thinking about who I am as a person. What a crazy book, and so much work into it. Can’t wait for the sequel!!
Thought-provoking and compelling! From the first sentence, I was hooked. Naomi's characters were relatable and I found the message of the book, "Hashem has a plan," comforting in my own life.
…wonderful writing; I especially recognized, in the portrayal of Gedaliah and the alleys of “Old Geula”, a world into which I was privileged to briefly enter into many years ago. It is a truly special and beautiful place. …and read the book for its moral teachings as well - extremely valuable and better, if you can, to learn them from a well written story than from the school of hard knocks.🙂
