Game of Thrones meets Harry Potter…

Welcome to the sexy world of magic and mayhem—of witches, vampires, fae and lycanthropes.

This episodic, monthly fantasy romance series features all the characters you know and love from the New York Times Bestselling Jolie Wilkins series.

Never heard of the Jolie Wilkins series? Don’t let that stop you. This series serves as a standalone, immediately sucking you in and refusing to let go…

Episode 1: Shadow Phantoms

The order of the Underworld is no longer…

Where once factions of creatures—vampires, witches and warlocks, werewolves and fae—all came together, united under the banner of Queen Jolie, now those factions are separate and vying for control.

The vampires, unified under the authority of Master Vampire, Sinjin Sinclair, are living a life of hedonistic opulence aboard three cruise ships on the open water. Sinjin, bemoaning the loss of his one true love, can find little interest in anything else. But there’s a threat on the horizon, and one which will force Sinjin out of his melancholic lamenting…

Meanwhile the witches and warlocks have been separated into two factions: The King’s Alliance, commanded by ruthless High Mage, Duine and The Order of the Templar, a band of rebels, led by Pagan. While Duine seeks to control all witches and warlocks, subjecting them to his tyrannical rule, Pagan wishes to return magic to the hands of the people.

Amid the chaos of attempted assassinations and battle, is Emma Balfour. Now seventeen, Emma is attending the highly prestigious Elmington Academy—a school of magic. Unlike her witch mother and warlock father, Emma is anything but magical and finds her time at Elmington a struggle. That is, until she meets enigmatic Stone Draper. Stone is handsome, young and charismatic and Emma finds herself immediately taken with him. There’s only one problem… Stone Draper is actually Professor Draper, Emma’s instructor.

I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.

My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.

Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!

I’m so excited to be back in Jolie’s world. This series is completely different and follows Emma’ s journey. Everything and everyone is completely different. So many hard situations for each character. I can’t wait to see where it goes. I loved the ending! Excited for the next one.

Welcome back to the underworld where now it is chaos . After Jolie goes missing there is a fallout and everything is in chaos . Duine wants to control the witches and reign with an iron fist an Pagen wants to give the power back to his people . The Vampires are under Sinjin's rule. Queen Jolie is nowhere to be found and Rand has just gone . Emma is at a prestigious Elmington Academy . She is having a hard time at school cause her magic is just a little off . Until she meets Stone Draper the sexy new teacher and things start to change .
The characters you loved from Jolie series are back but they aren't the happy family they once were . Emma is now seventeen and trying to get through school . She is feisty and sweet but she is also kind of lonely and a little lazy the typical teenager . But she has two best friends that really help her out . Stone Draper is wow he is sweet and sexy but also he has an alpha vibe going for him . He really gets under Emma's skin in a good way . Brynn and Sinjin are back along with Rowen . They are always such to read .
This book was such a surprise to me , I was like woohoo the author is continueing the story. Thinking that we are going to see into everyone's happily ever after, well I was wrong on the happily ever after . But of course the author had other ideas and we get to meet new characteres and fall in love with them as much as the original characters . I love the premise of this series , it is written in episodes and will be out monthly . I really like this idea it will keep the series fresh in your mind as you read . This is going to a great series and I can't wait to see what happens through out each episode . So if you want a great series for the summer check it out . I promise you don't have to read the original series to like this series .

Emma is older and in school, while trying to deal with her absent father and death of her mother. She has little magic that she knows. Emma is having some issues at school but has two good friends for her. She meets a guy that she connects with. But who is he, comes to a shock to her. Bryn and Sinjin are no longer together. She cut him completely out her and her daughter's life. She blames Sinjin for what has happened to Jolie. She doesn't believe his words.
There are new characters as well, as the underworld in shambles due to Jolie no longer being there. There are threats all around. Duine trying to be suppress anyone but himself. He wants to rule everyone. You have a rebel name Pagan. He is doing all he can to stop the man.

This is a different world that the last Sinjin book, but is really good. To see the hardships for the original gang plus the addition of these new characters. It has freshed the series up. Can't wait to see what happens next for everyone. I didn't want to spoil it for anyone, I recommend everyone reads this..

I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review

Featuring some of the characters from H.P. Mallory's Jolie Wilkins series and Bryn and Sinjin series, Shadow Phantoms is the first book in a new serialized spin-off. Along the way through this fresh, new adventure we also get to meet new characters, new settings, and learn new things. The story is engaging and branches in several directions but it's done smoothly and everything sets the stage for the rest of the series.

Beginning ten years after the final book in the Bryn and Sinjin series, all is not right in the world of Bryn, Sinjin, Rowan, Emma, Jolie, and Rand. The Underworld is in chaos. Characters are missing, separated, or gone to school. Enemies are hiding in plain sight, ancient mythological enemies are proving to be a reality, and assassination attempts and tyranny are daily threats.

I'm excited to be back in this world and can't wait to see where the author takes us in the next episode.

I was provided a copy of this book to read.

Oh wow. Hum where to start. First there are a lot of new characters with a few old ones mixed in, so there’s new “voices” to get to know. I was majorly disappointed with some facts regarding a few well know couples and their downward spiral. I mean seriously wtf. So to say so much has happened in the ten years between the last of the sinjin books is an understatement. I have hope, the last of this book has reassured me of that. I have so many mixed emotions going on right now. Plus there was a lot of head hopping. I felt like so many things in different places we’re going on it was almost too much. Almost. This is a shorter story compared to her other writings, so it went fast. Very fast. I need more. Right now. Needs it. I’m loving this new series, and even though they are short, it’s packed full of action and intrigue. I like it. Can’t wait to read more.

Can I just say on my knees "thank you thank you H.P. Mallory"....

If you are a fan of the Jolie series or a first timer you are going to love this. Once again Mallory has created a world that draws you in. You don't want to leave, I actually didn't realize the book was done until the last period.

So if you want adventure, love, a world to escape in... Pick up Shadow Phantoms sorry I just couldn't give away too many hints. You just need to read it for your self it's bewitching...

I didn’t recognize the writing style at first. It feels different from prior works by this author. It felt a little darker and grittier initially. Not a bad thing. This book presents a lot of new characters and story lines for this venture after the fall of the Underworld. I must admit that after just reading the Sinjin and Bryn final book, I was surprised to look forward. The relationship with Emma and Rowan was pure fun and promises great entertainment.

I have such mixed emotions after reading this. I literally just got done reading the last of the Sinjin & Bryn books. I feel like I fell into this crazy time warp, twilight zone. It's not bad, it is just...wait, what happened??
I understand some of the characters and where they came from, but others I need to know more.
Luckily, I won't have long to wait!!

This was an entertaining, well-written story. It describes a world of vampires, witches, warlocks and fae who have split into factions, all scheming for control. It includes romance, magic and mayhem. The action is fast-paced and the characters drew me in and held my interest. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next episode.

This book is horrible! Multiple characters and no depth to any of them. I have no idea after finishing what the plot was. Wow.

I don’t know how I feel about the continuation of the previous book characters. As someone who has read all the other series before this book, I was shocked to see what is going on. I suppose that does make it more interesting, but I’m still on the fence. I’m interested to see how these episodic stories will go.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! MAllory will have your mouth dropping from the first chapter! Just when you think Jolie, Rand, Sinjin and Bryn had their happily ever after you get... MORE! This quick story introduces you to some new characters but it also gets you up close and personal with your favorites and where life has taken them since Sinjins The Lost Child.
I can't stress enough that if you're a fan of the Jolie and Sinjin book series then you will definitely want to get your paws on this beauty!

I really enjoyed this book. Classic H. P. Mallory. I have read all of Jolie Watkins and the Bryn and Sinjin series and find this next series just as good. I am reading the next book in this series now.
