I really enjoyed this book. I'm more of an artist who prefers to draw faces realistically, but I enjoy her style - the initial reason why I bought this book.
It's full of great tips and tricks not just on how to draw but also on how to deal with technology regarding digital art, which was really helpful, because I just started out on Procreate at that time. It also includes many beautiful illustrations and some of her older works from when she was younger (which were very cute and reminded me on myself when I just started out). She showed that everybody can draw - if they really want to, and that art needs practice, and practice needs time.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to start out drawing but is unsure about their skills or to someone who enjoys having a book in their shelves that is full of inspirational illustrations.
This is a great book for those who enjoy Asia’s art, and it’s great for art beginners. She gives helpful and informative advice while also talking about her personal experiences, which makes for a very comfortable vibe while reading.
Beautiful book. It is full of great illustrations, tips, and inspiration. I appreciated the author's personal story regarding background and development. A great book for my reference arsenal.
Received it as a gift from a friend. Fantastic book it contains many tips and techniques for those who are intro manga style. She also shares her experience as an artist.
