The couple: Maddox and Lorelei
Romance genre: DD/lg
Series: Daddy's Girl
Length: 218 pages
Plot: Maddox has been asked by one of the Bachmans to find a girl that his wife was friends with. Lorelei (the friend) is on the run because of a psychotic girl she used to go to school with. Psycho Gina is mad because in school, Lorelei once stole her boyfriend. So Gina threw her down a well. Lorelei managed to escape but has changed her name and moved to a secret location. Her greedy parents stopped looking, declared her dead, and took the insurance payout. Maddox finds her, and even though he's work off dating, one look at Lorelei tells him that she's his little girl. But no matter what, he has to get her back to New York safely. It might not be as easy as it seems, though, and once they're there, more danger lurks.
Character development: I enjoyed these two characters. Maddox was not as intense as many of the other Bachmans, but still alpha enough. He was simply a little softer with Lorelei, in my opinion. Lorelei, on the other hand, was fairly self-aware, and really good at acknowledging her past mistakes. That's something I've noticed about this author's heroines - they are definitely not perfect. Some of them are brats (which facilitates the spanking sessions, I imagine), and some are spoiled, and all of them have flaws that make them interesting. No matter Lorelei's flaws and insecurities, though, Maddox was always there waiting to take care of her.
Grammar/formatting: Something I've noticed from this author's other books as well - she always italicizes name brands. It's a stylistic choice that I've never seen and am not sure is necessary.

Wedding Date Daddy takes place at a Bachman wedding. Talk about intense alpha makes and their lovely spouses/loves/family. Tight bonds with them all extremely supportive of one another.

What an excellent addition to this series, Daddy's Girl, which is in part a spin-off from the other Bachman series. If you've missed them, you won't be lost because this story reads well as a stand-alone. The story will bring two people together when Maddox is sent to search and find Everleigh’s friend, Lorelei Byrne. Maddox has sworn off women; he doesn’t date, but he does work for the Bachman family, and when he is called to do a job, he does it. Lorelei has been hiding out in the Keys of Florida, changed her last name, and is just surviving.
“Buckle up. This is going to be a bumpy ride.”
The plot will have Everleigh wanting her friend, Lorelei, at her wedding—and so Jagger intends to give that to her. He will ask Maddox to carry out the mission, find Lorelei and bring her back to New York City. Gina gave a piece of information, how she had gone after Lorelei, and now Everleigh’s request will set this tale in motion. When Maddox finds her, she is feisty, ready to fight him, but he convinces her why he is there, who sent him, and his mission to bring her back for Everleigh’s wedding.

I'm going to be honest, I started this book with low expectations... Why? Because I've read another series (Beauties and Billionaires) by this author, and I ended up not being a big fan of it. But, while searching for my next read, I saw this book in my recommendation, read the blurp, and then I saw the author's name so I decided to not even bother reading it as I know I might not enjoy it. However, my curiosity got the best of me, especially since I didn't clearly remember why I didn't enjoy her books, so I took a chance on it, and I'm regretting it.
1. The dialogues are cringey, specifically the MMC
Exhibit A:
Listen, I'm no expert with men BUT I have NEVER heard guy talk like that 🤢.
2. The lack of a safe word
I believe that it's something important to add in the discussion, such as when they talked about them being "clean" and the FMC being on birth control.
3. Consent
This quote rubbed me the wrong way mostly because the MMC basically said that the FMC couldn't remove her consent after starting to spank her. It makes me mad as it perpetuate the idea that once you started sexual activities, you can't just stop it, which isn't the case especially when it involves things like impact play where consent is extremely important.
Anyways, these are some of the aspects that Impacted my overall enjoyment of the book. Also, it's clear to me that I will not be reading any other book published by this author as they are just not for me...

A simply wonderful read that I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of
This is a wonderful read all about Maddox who was one of the Bachmen group, a group that are known to take from the rich and to give to the poor and those in need. They are a family that are renowned throughout the world, a group that cannot be messed with they are loyal to each other and deadly to anyone who tries to harm them.
Maddox has been sent to find the missing girl that is the long-lost friend of Jaggers upcoming bride and she has asked if they could possibly try and find the missing Lorelei who was presumed dead.
As Maddox finds her hiding in the Florida Keys it soon becomes apparent to him that she is a very special girl and he soon realises that he has found his little girl however she has been left somewhat unsure of strangers and seems to only feel safe and happy when she is with Maddox and Buddy and spending her time close to the sea and the sand.
This is a wonderful read she has been through so much pain in her life and as the story of her life unravels it soon becomes apparent how well-matched Maddox is for Lorelei, she is his baby girl and he is the Daddy she has always dreamed of.
I promise that once you begin reading this book you will not be able to put this book down until you reach the very last page, you will be left looking forward to future books in this wonderful series.

He can't help it, she just makes the daddy in him come out to play. On the run, lonely and scared, Lorelei is drawn to Maddox' take charge personallity and she is so ready to not needing to be strong & capable 24/7. Having a big, strong daddy to take care of her is pure bliss.

This is another story in the saga of the Bachman clan, only this time the action and adventure happen almost exclusively away from the Village and without virtually any involvement of additional Bachman Family members, although there is the unseen hand of Tess’s matchmaking. A truly stand-alone story that still fits well within the overall Family structure. Maddox and Lorelei’s romance is every bit as good and sweet as any Hallmark love story, but with the added Dd/lg dynamic as well as the erotic discipline and sex in the true Bachman tradition! I always enjoy the Epilogues in Ms. Handel’s books in that they also offer a teaser of the next book in the series. For new fans of Shanna Handel this is a 5 Star read. For her current fans this just might be a 5+ story. 5 Stars

Always love a Bachman man!! This story follows Maddox as he’s tasked with finding Lorelei and getting her back to the city for Jagger and Everleigh’s wedding. Lorelei has been declared dead by her “greedy” parents after being missing for a while. She’s been hiding in the Keys since crazy Gina threw her down a well and left her for dead for revenge. Maddox wastes no time in finding her and attempting to bring her back to the city. However, when crazy Gina escapes custody, plans change. They go into hiding when it’s safe to return. They find a furry friend in route to the safe house and take him along for the journey. Maddox and Lorelei soon find they can’t fight the attraction between them. She learns quickly that Daddy does not like to be disobeyed. If you love the Bachman family like I do, you’ll love their story!

I’ve read the previous book in this series, so I had an idea in my head about who Lorelei was. She did not sound like a nice person. In this book, we meet her in a little out of the way island bar. And she is not what I’m expecting. She’s sweet, unassuming, tentative, and vulnerable. Her family life is heartbreaking. She may have not have been the nicest in the past, but she definitely deserves a second chance. Maddox doesn’t want to do second chances for women, or so he says, but then Lorelei is too sweet to pass up. Maddox is also irresistible and I love their chemistry. But is this just a wedding date or will it lead to something more? ❤️💖❤️
As a side note, this book doesn’t have as much of the family or the ‘Beauties’ as the other books. But it does have some wonderful descriptions of new places that I wish I could visit.

I will never get enough of the Bachman men!!!!
Maddox Bachman is "The Tracker" for the family. Everleigh and Jagger asked him to find Lorelei (read My Blind Date Babygirl) and he does a great job of it.
Lorelei has had a horrible few years! Being abducted by crazy Gina and sleazy parents, of course she disappeared. Until Maddox....
I adored these two together! We always see the Daddy taking care of his babygirl, but this time we get to see the roles reversed just a smidge and I am here for it!!!!! And my favorite character of all...Buddy.
I'm crossing my fingers that we get more Bachman's.

This was an amazing story! I loved every second of it. I love reading anything about the Bachmans. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next story by Shanna Handel.

Anything that has the Bachman family in it, I love. So it would make sense to me that I loved Maddox and Lorelei's story. Maddox is "the Tracker" in the family and he is charged with finding Lorelei after she disappears. When he does find her, he realizes that he never wants to let her go. The story kept me engaged as I turned the pages. I mean, there's never a dull moment in this family! LOL I love seeing characters from previous books and of course, I love Tess. She's a hoot trying to match everyone up because she wants them as happy as she is! I'll be waiting for the next one!

I loved this story. It can easily read as a standalone but I recommend the others in this enthralling series are read. All the characters are well done, real and rounded. Lorelei has grown up and learned. Maddox is nursing his broken heart and pride. There are plenty of different elements to make this an easy-to-read page-turner. There are also plenty of hot spicy sexy scenes and sweet love. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this story and I very highly recommend it. This is a wonderfully well written and described entertaining story.

Welcome to Maddox and Lorelei's story. It's full of adventure, fun and romance. Maddox has been scorned in the past, but a little bit of Lorelei could quite possibly change his mind about love. He's very sweet and patient with her, knowing how much she's been through. She's willing to let him in and give love a chance. I love Maddox's place with the wild horses. I can totally picture myself there. Another great Bachman story.

Danger, suspense and romance vie for top billing in this well crafted story that has my favorite series connection. I loved this newest addition to the series. Both characters are equally fascinating. The storyline is well written with a sense of danger threading itself underneath the budding romance. It was a delightfully entertaining story that I loved reading.

Never too many Bachmans
A delicious Daddy Dom Bachman style with Maddox trying to find and protect Lorelei from a demented former school mate. Things get somewhat confusing when what should be a stealth operation gets leaked to Lorelei's parents and Maddox's ex. And why didn't the insurance adjuster make the greedy relatives repay Lorelei's life insurance when she was still alive? It's not like Shanna Handel to leave so many loose ends, especially with a Bachman book.

Wedding Date Daddy was a love in the making. A young lady who never had love of parents. Thrown in a well by her classmate and left for dead, but survived to fight another day. The man who would become the love of her life and her daddy. He suffered black spells forced him from dehydration. The story was well written. I recommend this book

Finally found love
My heart bleeds for poor Lorelei there is no one in this world that cares for her like she deserves. People that were supposed to, were awful. When Maddox is tasked with finding her his super tracker abilities find her and of course, they're a perfect match. I really enjoyed their relationship and the settings and the author gave us some closure, so that's always nice.

This was another very good read, with plenty of adventure, spankings, and love. Seeing how he went from not wanting to date to finding 'his' baby girl was a joy, as was how he took to Buddy. I am so glad that she was able to reconnect with old friends but also find out the truth about her family. I love Shanna Handel's books and look forward to seeing what comes next.

Yes! I adored Maddox and Lorelei's story!
As a favor to Jagger, Maddox is on the hunt for a missing woman. He has to find her before Jagger gets married. Game on. Lorelei isnt thrilled to be found and is not to happy to be going back to a place she swore she'd never go. I'm always so happy to see more Bachmann characters.

I think Maddox might be my favorite daddy! He’s sworn off dating but one look at Lorelei’s picture and he’s smitten. Doing a favor for Jagger , Maddox goes in search of Lorelei. After he finds he can keep her safe and keep his heart detached. One of the best daddy books! Shanna Handel is definitely a must read for me!!

This was a super sweet and sexy story! I loved that Lorelei and Maddox could talk to each other, and that they gave each other room to have real feelings and time to address them. Maddox was a very insightful man, and I loved the end of the book and the start of their HEA!

I loved this book. Maddox and Lorelei are awesome together. I just love how he takes care of her and her of him. It's really sweet. Their journey is priceless. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I absolutely recommend this book.

I loved this book. A great storyline that was interesting and entertaining, the age play was minimal. Loved the characters. They were made for each other and had great chemistry. The story was fast paced but no less entertaining. Overall a very enjoyable read.

Loved the book. The Bachman brotherhood stories are the best. Maddox took charge, found her, protected and true love wins again. Excellent book with mystery included
