This was a fast-paced prequel to Blindspot, part of the Millenium Tower series and I flew through this in a day. Kent has blended the real world with the mystical and in this prequel, I loved getting to know the main characters that bit more. Follow Jon Benz, a flawed but heroic cop who wants to rid Los Angeles of the devil, Damien Rehnquist, an evil crime lord, seemingly undefeatable. I'm not going to spoil this, just read it! It's gritty, fast and has characters you'll want to follow to the bitter end!

This is the prequel to BlindSpot…so it wrong of me to say I actually might like this better…? This was such a unwise way to bring people into the story and gave some amazing backstory to some incredible characters we already got to enjoy in the first boom. This dark, Supernatural thriller is classic in the genre and entertaining and fast paced.
