I’ve never really used dating apps, but I figured it was time to give this one a shot.
There were a lot of so-so guys on there, but when I came across his profile, I shuddered.
He was sexy, just my type, and a military man. Yum.
I sent him a friendly message, and to my surprise, he answered me quickly.
We agreed to meet up at a local spot. I was excited, but a little worried.
I didn’t let the thought linger and went to the date in a state of optimism.
Stryder was even better than I expected, and things were going so well.
Until my worries became a reality.
My crazy ex showed up out of nowhere and ruined the whole thing.

I tried to contact her but she deleted her app. I felt like I was out of luck.
The next day I received a text from my commanding officer.
He told me he needed my help protecting his sister from her stalker ex-boyfriend.
I agreed to help, and when I met them at his office, I was shocked.
It was Lydia.
I thought I wouldn’t see her again, and now I was charged with protecting her from a crazed man.
I knew I had to do whatever it took to keep her out of harms way.

He's surprised when he's submitted his application that he gets a hit. Her name is Lydia and she looks like someone he wants to get to know. On their first date they are just starting to talk and get to know each other when some guy shows up. She quickly leaves. Stryder has no idea why. Next day he's being hired to guard his commanding officer's sister and it turns out to be Lydia. I love the slow burn that these two have, the trust they build together and the respect that Stryder has for Lydia. Will their relationship turn into the love they both are seeking? Stryder and Lydia's tale is one that will enjoying over and over. It is a sweet love story with just the right amount of heat and passion. Stryder and Lydia meet via a dating app, while on a date her ex shows up, and Lydia disappears. It is only by chance and fate that Stryder and Lydia are brought back together. Lydia's brother is Stryder's commander. I love the little twist this story hold as they find their HEA.

Hopeless Romantic
Great story line and characters. Stryker and Lydia love story is so good. A little scary at first but it got better when she got her Brother Jackson involved.
