Dain, thank you for sharing, I know what I want to do, help people realise how they can help to heal themselves. Reading constantly, looking for inspirational books. Have trained in Reiki , EFT and Access consciousness and find it all fascinating. Can't stop learning . Only half way through Body Whispering and can't put it down. Makes so much sense, just need to put it into practice. Thank you, thank you , thank you
SUMMARY/ EVALUATION: --SELECTED: When looking for Christine Lang’s “Body Whisperer” this title came up. I was curious about what similarities there might be. --ABOUT: Dain’s book is similar to Christine’s, in that he discusses the spiritual and psychological aspects of pain, and using intuition while healing people, but it is also quite different. Dain speaks from a Chiropractic point of view, primarily to other Chiropractors. There’s a lot of emphasis on our ability to tune in to, and unwittingly, take on pain and/or resistance to healing from others. He relates how for some time this was the case as he would work on patients and he’d experience a halting of what had been a strong energy flow that was emanating from the patient, but that he mistook as his own inadequacy. He talks about asking the body (one’s own, if that’s what your working on, or that of a patient) what it needs. --OVERALL OPINION: Interesting and possibly useful. (If it's not, it could just be that I'm not good at 'tuning in'.)
AUTHOR: Dain Heer: “Dain is an internationally renowned author, speaker, and facilitator of consciousness and change. For over 20 years, he has been inviting people to embrace their true greatness—people from every culture, country, age, and social strata of society. In his talks and workshops, he uses a unique set of tools and provides step by step energetic processes to get people out of the answers, conclusions, and judgments that are keeping them stuck in a cycle of no choice and no change – leading them into the moments of awe that have the power to change anything. For Dain, judgment is the biggest killer on the planet, especially the judgment of ourselves. Based on his own life experience, he asks: “What if we could get out of the wrongness of ourselves and see every wrongness, the places where we judge ourselves the most, as a strongness? What would be possible then?” Every year, Dain receives thousands of emails from readers who say that his bestselling book, ‘Being You Changing the World’, inspired them to live. Somehow he is able to lead people out of their self-criticism and the innate feeling of never being enough into a sense of question and wonder and gratitude for being alive.” __From drdainheer.com

SAMPLE QUOTATION: Excerpt from the prelude “Gratitude You may think that you were the one that chose to read this book. I am pretty sure you were not. There is, quite possibly, something way more potent at work here: YOUR BODY. You, my friend, just get to go along for the ride. For so long, we’ve been ignoring our bodies’ awareness and capacities. Now, they are awakening. Our bodies are hearing the call from the Earth and the world around us, and their whispers are becoming louder every day. This book is your invitation to become a body whisperer (to find out what that truly means, you’ll have to read the book). During this journey, I will do my best to show you what I started to become aware of many years ago when I realized that bodies talked to me. All the time. Very loudly. It will sound different for you than it does for me, but the basics still apply. The very first step is acknowledging that yes, bodies do talk –just not in words. I would like to thank my body for showing me what is truly possible, and to simultaneously apologize to it for how long it took me to start to listen.”
Your body is asking for this book. If we want to become a body whisperer and change our lives for the better, we should give this excellent work a try. “Body Whispering” is an inspiring and thought-provoking book written by Dr. Dain Heer. In it the author provides readers with advice and techniques to change their own bodies. These methods are the result of his vast experience as a change-maker. According to the author, the secrets to be healthy and happy lie within our own bodies. Everything is written in our organs and energy systems. We only need to learn to know ourselves and how to put into practice all the potential inside of us. I found this work extremely insightful and helpful. The topics are explained very clearly and detailed. This makes the understanding of some issues that may seem difficult at the beginning, very simple. I recommend this book.
Body whispering by author Dr. Dain Heer is a self-help book that has changed my life. It has allowed me to heal myself and to have a better relationship with my mind and body. As the title suggests, this book allows readers to have inner conversations with their minds which is all the time whispering things to us. Through an easy narrative, author Heer sheds light on how to live a better life through tips, concepts, hacks and tools for any type of person to apply. Something I really enjoyed about the book is that it makes us ask questions, questions which are literally written in the narrative, about what type of life we are actually living. The answers are revealing and can be surprising. This book is a life changer!
I would like to start by saying that this is not only a beautifully written and highly enjoyable book, but eye-opening and thought-provoking as well. I was challenged by this piece of work in the best possible way. I learned to listen to my body because even it sounds illogically or even crazy, it speaks to us. I also really enjoyed Dr. Dain Heer’s writing style. By the end of the book, I felt as if he was a friend. He writes with kindness and clarity from decades of lived experience and pragmatic consciousness. There is a lot of preparation from the author who helps support us in our journey through the material, including how to manage difficult thoughts, emotions and sensations as he arises. Definitely, it is a must read for everyone.
What an interesting and inspiring read! This book arouses many emotions in me because I had a lot of conflicts with my body and I have to admit that I do not take care of it properly. But this book made me realize how important it is to listen to the whispering inside myself. “Body Whispering” is a read that blew my mind.
Dr. Dain Heer wrote about the importance of connecting with our body, paying attention to what is saying and learning to discover where the pain is coming from. It is divided into different sections and one is more interesting than the other last one. In fact, I am thinking of reading it again because I want to take notes of some important facts. I highly recommend it!
Like all Dr. Dainger books, this one as well is absolutely mind bending! Love the tools, love the simplicity of how it is laid out to the reader. It is a gem and I’m very grateful!
I great book specially if you want to start building the life you’ve dream of. Just keep in mind the book has many point of views that may be shocking or contradictory to what we are used to, but if you are willing to have an open mind free of judgment, this a book for you
It's a typical Access Consciousness book, but for beginners who are healers or facilitating, or want to be. I did like the section on being the energy with your clients, and that there are clearings throughout.
New way to think and proceed easyly with an open curious mind ! I started last week and I can see soemthing change. I decided to be patient because what if instead to just read
I loved everything about this book. I started reading and couldn t stop. I was hoping it would have more pages. I will use this book in my everyday life!
