How can she trust again after being abandoned?

Allison Watkins has been missing for a year. One of many victims captured by the mysterious Romulus, she is finally rescued by the North American Reserves in a massive sting. Tired and in need of counseling, she comes to the Spencer Ranch in Texas to reunite with her parents and work through her trauma with the other rescued women.

Daniel Spencer has been training with NAR for over a year. He is prepared to fight the undefined menace closing in, threatening the way of life shifters have enjoyed for centuries. He is determined to ensure his family and friends can continue to live in peace. What he isn’t prepared for is the broken blonde with deep blue eyes who arrives at his family’s ranch and stops him dead in his tracks.

Allison is his mate. Denying the connection is futile. But she has been through a lot. She needs time. And time is not on their side.

The clock is ticking. Daniel needs to get to Seattle and join the rest of the forces gathering for a battle against evil. He can’t stay with the mate he’s only known for days because her safety, and the safety of every shifter on the planet, is at stake. He’ll do whatever it takes to keep her alive.

What does the Romulus want? And why are they preying on young female shifters? Locating them and stopping this madness before exposure to humans and the Romulus’ evil plan destroys their world is the top priority.

Easily my favorite in the series to date! I loved meeting Allison. All of the females have been strong, true, but she's been, easily, the strongest yet. Enter Daniel Spencer, who brings us full circle back to the Spencer family.

(Have you been wondering about that Texas shifter family that brought all those Spencer boys to the gathering with one Drake Spencer and who spirited away our beloved Kenzie off in book 1? Well, they're back... and we get to journey on down to their ranch and meet the other two Spencer boys again, briefly'ish.)

Allison is rescued in the orchestrated NAR raids. Yup, like Ashley, she's been one of the kidnapped hostages, but blessedly for only about a year. But with her comes more questions, a few more answers about Romulus, and... oh, right, her mate in the form of one Daniel Spencer - younger brother to Drake, and an NAR agent. Yikes!

This one is packed chock full of hot NAR alpha males, lots of suspense and questions about Romulus (nope, we're nowhere near close to that ending!), and one uptown city girl who might just decide country isn't so bad after all.

Good storyline, bad editing

I've only left star reviews on the first 4 books cause the writing is good and a good storyline, but either an editor is needed or something changed because there is quite a few errors with names, days and even whole pages being repeated which jumbled some of the stories. I had to reread some areas cause it did get confusing trying to realize whom or what was meant. I'm going to go to book 6 and see if its better.

Great Read

Jameson writes romance beautifully. You easily understand each wolf and their emotional issues and barriers they have to conquer for true love.

This is the 5th installment in the Wolf Gatherings series. The story was fair with a bit of action here and there but nothing really exciting.

Very good

Really want to know what is going on with Romulus. They have women hating shifters. But they want mates. Who is the traitor.

Skipping bedroom

The story was good, but I skipped through all the bedroom stuff. After the first few it just got old. The story without the fuss was good.
