This book starts beautiful and sexy and really blends well from where the last book ended. The character development of the FMC is suburb I really enjoyed watching how the author wrote her and I was drawn in by her emotions. She is written so beautifully, gentle but with such a strength of character you can't help but admire and want to be her or at least her best friend! The POV's were written really well and always love when I don't have to go back to check who I am reading as they are kept in character so well, each of these characters are so diverse this in itself is an art form and really well executed. The storyline the world building oh wow! I couldn't get enough, the wording created such beautiful images in my minds eye. This story is full of emotion and angst and there seems to be a trail of enemies being left in their wake! I look forward to seeing how this journey progresses.
Shifting Isles continues Adelyn and her fated mates story as they travel to a different realm seeking answers about her origins and powers. I really enjoyed this book, the whole story is plot heavy in my opinion and there’s so much going on and being threaded with some answers coming in this book but twice as many questions left at its conclusion. The end of the book has me wanting to read more and continue to watch this story unfold. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend giving it a read.
