An emotional drama romance novella you won’t be able to put down. My guts told me to run away. I didn’t. What now? I’m famous. I’m successful. But love? I can’t seem to find it. The only woman I’ve ever had feelings for doesn’t love me back. No, she only wants to be my friend. I hate this word. Yeah, I’ve been friend-zoned. For good this time.
Until I meet her. Long legs, plump lips, a glamorous lifestyle. What not to like, right? But behind all this perfection, she hides a darker side I’m about to discover.
Soulfully Beautiful Love Stories Busy writing your next book boyfriend!
USA Today Bestselling author Emmanuelle Snow is a contemporary author of mature YA and New Adult love stories, who likes to give life to strong characters who’ll fight with all they have to reach their life goals and find their own happiness.
Emmanuelle is in love with love. Especially those complicated, deep, and passionate feelings that make a relationship extraordinary and complex, all at the same time.
She likes her characters to be believable and relatable! And her stories laced with raw emotions.
Who wouldn't love Carter and want him all for myself... He is so swell, and he does things to me that a real guy can never match up to. Emmanuelle's writing has made him so real that I often believe he is right there singing to me, amongst other things. Now my next step is to get the author to do away with both April and Dah and cast me... need some voodoo magic. The entire series of Men and Country is wonderful both as snippets and a long-length novel. There is the magic of the author's words that set the books far apart from the others in this genre.
I loved that we heard more about the characters that got mentioned in the other books and that we got the development of their own love Story. The book is about Sanders and Reed, Sanders is the best friend of the main character "April" in Pink and Country. It was very interesting, because it was written from Reed's pov and I've never read a book only with the man's perspective. At first I thought that Jess is the love intrest, because we get introduced to her in the beginning of the novella. It was exciting from the beginning and when they first met each other I was so intrigued by their chemistry. I think it's very sad that it is just a novella because I would really like to see a whole book about them and think that their story would be absolutly thrilling. The only aspect that I didn't like was that once the two characters met each other, their love story was moving sooo fast. It's probavly because it's just a novella but that another reason I would really like to see a whole book about them. When the story gets streched more, then the chemistry would be even stronger, because in the beginning of the novella Reed says he never wants to love someone and stuff and then he mets her and falls in love with her at first sight and doesn’t even have doubts or is scared? All in all the book is 3⭐️ for me, but I'm pretty sure that if it would be a whole book with more pages that I would give it more than three stars.
This is the starter and prequel book of the Pink and Country Series and it starts Carter's story. Carter has gone through so much and is still going through it always looking for his own happy ending but now is not the right time but hopefully in the end he will find what he has been looking for. Even though this book is a short read it is still packs a punch and I look forward to reading more.
Carter This was a great insight into Carter's perspective of his history including Savannah before starting Blindsided & Forevermore. Full of anxiety, self doubt and very jaded Carter is much more than his stage persona.
This is just a short taste of Carter's life before, and it will explain things you might not understand in Pink and Country. I enjoyed this little slice of Carter's background.
I enjoyed both Carter as well as Pink & Country. With hopes of solitude, peace & quiet, April heads up the mountains in Tennessee but it turns out there’s a bit of an ass next door whom she should have recognized but didn’t. The neighbor, Carter; appreciate this and becomes intrigued with April. Carter & April’s banter and longing for one another keep you engaged in the story. I very much enjoyed it.
This is the first book of the Pink and Country series (or the Men and Country short stories collection). It introduces Carter Hills, the country music superstar as he starts dating Savannah Prince, a Hollywood actress.
Carter Hills is the heat and soul of the Pink and Country series.
He's honest, hard-working, and dedicated, but oh so unlucky in love. Get to know him before embarking in the Pink and Country journey, a raw and emotional adventure that will leave just asking for more.
This prequel certainly whets my appetite! The fame game is an arduous one and poor Carter certainly has his ups and downs. I'm intrigued enough to continue his story.
This was not a complete story. It was like a fourth of a novella. A few thoughts, random and bizarre. Then a come on to go to another story? No thank you.
