Southern Charm 😍
I love this story. It’s a story of moving forward from you past and finding your future. To seeing that not everything or everyone out there is bad. And there are still good in this world. Along with some spicy and s3xy southern charm, love can happen when you least expect it.
Dixie is leaving Ohio and her ex behind. After all the pain he caused, she’s ready to move on. Moving on looks like a small town in GA with her cousin, Dallas. Her cousin owns a hair salon and offered her a chair and place to stay. Timing is everything, and Dixie needs this. What she didn’t know she needed was Mr Handsome, who strolled into the café she was grabbing lunch, the day she arrived.
Mason is successful and gorgeous. He has had girlfriends in the past but none he wished to stick around. The dad his dad and him decide to have their meeting over lunch, the last thing he expected was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen to be there. Now he has to get to know her. He learns from his friend Cash (Dallas’ other half) that Dixie isn’t most girls. She has trust issues and a past. He makes the decision to earn her trust and hopefully her heart.
This is a novella, so it’s a mildly short read. It is also book one in a six book series. I’m def looking forward to reading the rest. I love books that just make you feel good. HEA guaranteed. Settle in and enjoy!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the first book in the Baker Family series and a new author for me. Dixie and Mason meet when they are least expecting love. These two are opposite in several ways but that does not stop the attraction between them. Both characters had their own plans of a future but fate has a way of changing things in an instant. I enjoyed their story

The first book in The Baker Family series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Dixie and Mason's story of suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, a nasty ex, and romance. This is a new Author to me, and it looks like this is her debut book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
