Cyan is doing landscaping when she ends up in a swamp rescued by an alien
Kinre is the brother, and second in command of the H of book 1. He's been commanded to meet the Teleans aboard their ship and get their alliance as the Horde prepares for war. When he stumbles upon the human female he knows she's an Omega and he thinks he should give her to Vemlox because he doesn't want distractions as he negotiates but Omega heat is the biggest distraction of all.

*******
I didn't like Kinre's pushing away but it was still a decent enough read. I have to admit that the way some things are stated irks me a bit as this is a completely male dominated society
The writing style is taking a bit to get accustomed too but the humor, plot and interesting characters keep me invested

No cheating
I think she was a virgin?I can't remember lol

I didn’t like this one was much as the first one, but it was still enjoyable.

This is Cyan and Kinre’s story.

Cyan stumbles upon the alien world, but in this one, she didn’t arrive in the place the other couple (from book one meet) so she doesn’t get the comfort of the human girl to help her out. Again, she thinks she’s in a reality TV show? I dunno, that’s kind of silly and stupid, like the other Heroine from book one thinking she was on drugs, but it doesn’t last long.

I liked Kinre from the first book, but he’s not my favorite. I’ve never been into Heroes not chasing after the Heroine. He doesn’t want to bond and has no plans in bonding with an Omega. Didn’t like that storyline too much.

I do like that Cyan is bolder and more independent, but the whole screaming thing was kind of annoying.

I thought I would get into the action pack scenes, but I found it kind of boring and I kind of skimmed those parts. I also thought I would get into the politics (since I enjoyed that in the first book), but again I skimmed.

I dunno, I wanted something cuter and kinkier and more steam. I’m moving on to the next book hoping for something different.

Alpha Bonds was a funny, super steamy journey for Kinre and Cyan. I loved it!

*****
Kinre, Loven's brother, is on a mission to get the Telean's on the side of Loven's Horde in the event the King decides to attack. Kinre has to talk them into joining their rebellion and because is the #2 alpha he is sent on this especially important mission.

Imagine his surprise, when he is walking through the forest and hears screams and when he investigates, he sees a small mud covered human. Is it a small boy? Vinre doesn't know what to do with the small muddy human.

Cyan was clipping hedges at a frat house one minute and the next in the middle of some weird forest. She's not sure what is happening. However, how her mind processes the change in scenery was amusing. Cyan has not had a positive male in her life after her father died. Now her new stepfather has been abusive and cruel over the last few years which has made her very leery of men and especially of the giant green alien.

Kinre has never wanted an omega for anything more than good times. He has missions to complete and he is all alpha. The last thing on his mind is bonding to an omega like his brother. But sometimes fate has other ideas for your future. Will Kinre be able to complete his mission, will he be able to turn over the new female omega to his best friend Vemlox for her own good? Or will he become the next alpha to fall to an omega?

Alpha Bonds had me cracking up, flipping pages, loving the characters, and anxiously waiting for Kinre and Cyan to get their happily ever after. I simply loved this book and have already started Alpha Knots (Alpha Horde #3). I am so excited for Vemlox's book!

Aggressive Kinre.

Ok I have to say I have mixed feelings about this 2nd instalment in the series. I still found it addictive none the less reading it in just one sitting. But their was something about Kinre's rough sexual treatment of Cyan that just put me off. This wasn't Loven's passionate animalistic love making this was pure aggression, BDSM shit pleasure pain style. Unfortunately I'm just not into it so when I read that he constantly kept tieing her up, liked it rough and would bite her in multiple places like her breast (ouch) and her neck making her bleed... yeah my arousel died a premature death. He even states he likes his sex mixed with pain (not to mention with a side of demeaning) his idea of arousing was an omega tied up, gaged and crying just lovely! The first time they had sex he literally jumped her, I know he was almost in a 'rut' but that just seemed like an excuse for his behaviour as he liked it brutally anyway. He pulled her hair aggressively, bowed her back to the point of pain, nicked her thighs and clit with his claws (damn even I felt that) and would spank her until raw and crying. But what really disturbed me throughout all this was that she's JUST 18!! Yep thats right and to make a bad situation even worse a virgin for gods sake. Her first sexual experience was with a sadist who enjoys rough sex awesome. I really do believe the author should have made her older at least to not seem so naive which made what he did to her hard to read. To make matters worse she came from a family environment with an abusive stepfather. Holy hell this girl deserved someone sweet and loving but what did she get... a different kind of abusive relationship. Just because she put up with that sort of thing at home doesn't mean she would gravitate towards that type of man and enjoy pain. Not all women are that stereotypical and subconsciously seek out someone like that, they would probably run a mile in the opposite direction. My other pet peeve with this story was the lack of modesty Cyan was given. Damn she was portrayed as a bit of a slut to be honest even considering getting it on with Kinre and his brother Tayseer in a moment of weakness. Was constantly naked infront of EVERY single Alpha male (not by her choice though), running around the castle FULL of Alphas in just a towel and she accepted it with a kind of calm that was too easy for my liking. The only saving grace this book had for me was the fact that he seemed to mellow as the book went along. Even though he tried so hard to resist her he ended up trying to prove himself worthy off her which I liked and actually became more loving and sweet towards her in the end. Also the reappearance of Loven, Kingsley, the funny and wickedly sexy Vemlox with his tattoos, lip and nose piercings who deserves his Omega stat was fantastic. Though their wasnt that much action fight wise in this book as they were mainly in a type of swamp running from a Queen Serpent Tayseer does make two appearances. We don't get to read about the confrontations but it is implied and I have to admit I can't wait to read his book; about the Omega that brings him to his knees.

I liked parts of this story, but others didn't work for me at all. The landscaping Mexican stereotype was...yeah. This book has small time jumps which I also didn't like.

I love this series. Cyan is working for her families landscaping business and sees something....then falls down the rabbit hole if you will. She is so funny, she assumes she is in a reality show. She lands in one of the planets dangerous swamps where their Queen snake lives and since they worship the serpent, she is protected...think big ass Anaconda. This is Loven’s brother, Kinre, from book 1 and he is a handful too, maybe even more so. These guys are so over the top and just crack me up. He is so, so funny, with his tough guy attitude and Horde all the way. Anyway, he finds her, recognizes she is human and saves her before she becomes Queen snake food. Since these guys give off pheromones, it gets real and intense for her fairly quickly.

This was a safe read. Naughty AF, hot AF and really any other heated abbreviations I can think of. No om or ow drama. So damn funny, I love Milana Jacks humor, it's like we were separated at birth or something. An epilogue and an hea. Next book please. Book crack series.

3 STARS!

The second book is about Kinre; kinda second-in-command of Loven. He's in mission to recruit an ally that they supposed to hate but didn't have choice. Kinre never thinks to own Omega. He's kinda A-Straight student without hesitation. But his mission is just almost jeopardize because of... human female.

Cyan (didn't)really hate her life except for her stepfather. Suddenly, she's in alien world and the most thing she hate is snake. Sounds really bad. Cyan is still in denial and thinks all of this for a TV show. It took quite a few chapters for her to realize that she's indeed in alien planet. Goodbye Earth!

Anyway, I hardly feel the chemistry between Kinre and Cyan. Their banter was less funny than Loven-Kingsley. Maybe because Kinre's hot-and-cold attitude? Of course, Cyan is an Omega who is gonna through heat and Kinre is about to rut. Basically, their chemistry is pure lust. I didn't complain the sex, though. Kinre is a total BEAST! *winks*

Remember the Collector from previous book? Yes, their A-hole brother Tayseer make his comeback to take Cyan. Of course, Kinre turns to protective over his Omega. But inside, he's still conflicted for her well-being since he's not interested to take a mate.

Well, it seems Kinre and Cyan aren't my favorite but still okay. Even Cyan can be annoying sometimes regarding her body when they're gonna fuck. Kinda turn off. In the end, Kinre turns to be a good mate for Cyan. He try to redeem himself to be the Alpha she deserve. But it ended up to quickly. Hmm... Bit disappointed.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, so that was a tough book to follow. And at first I wasn’t as into the characters in this book. But by the end I was completely on board.

I loved seeing Kinre come around. At first he was all “No way am I ever bonding with a human” then by the end he’s helping her create her nest.

This is a fun series with an ongoing background story.

I can not say what exactly it is about the Horde that I love so much but each book makes me smile
This is Fantasy - pure Science fiction - Omegaverse - so if you are looking for a realistic romance you definitely need to look elsewhere - Now if you are looking for feisty heroines and caveman alphas then look no further
This is pure pleasure reading at its finest - humor, suspense, angst and a whole lot of loving 💕

Fantastic series!!

This is a re-read of thus fantastic series and I seem to have forgotten to review! :o

I loved Kinre's story and I think the world building is just getting better and better!

The sex is getting more and more juicy (lol) and I can't help but love that Vyan is a "bigger" body type, I think there's far too few of those in books, so I found that great. :)

Much better than the 1st book

3.7 stars. I think there is something missing from the storyline. Kinre and Cyan did not spend nearly as much time together as Loven and Kingsley did for them to be madly in love. K & C ‘s chemistry was hot hot hot! I’m looking forward to the next book.

Alien Alphas!

This is the second book in the Alpha Horde series and it did not disappoint. The series has humor, lots of action, and more heat than you can imagine. Getting to know each character is the best part. Their personalities slowly surface and it makes you that much more excited to read the next book.

The funny moments still goes on and the story flows the right way. And I really appreciate the choice of curves at this heroine and her faith on winning an Oscar.
Easy to read and very entertaining - I recommend this series and dive directly into book #3

So strange but good

I love sci-fi tv and movies, but not usually books. Yet I am loving these! About 5 seconds after the author describes the snake like appearance I forget and just make them giant green muscle men with awesome dicks. Which apparently appeals to me. 🤣

For adult readers
I really like the Horde. These green alien warriors go against all their beliefs to have an Omega of their very own. The Horde has figured out the King may not be as honest about Omegas and bonding as he would like his warriors to believe and now that Loven has figured out that secret...The Horde is ready to fight. Kinre is second in command, brother to Loven, and devoted to the Horde. Kinre is on a mission. This is the worst possible time for Kinre to find a human omega.
The world building is creepy, I'm not a fan of snakes, but I guess that means the author did well! This is book 2 and even though I read book 1, I would not have needed to. This could be read as a stand alone. The 2 members of Horde that I've meet so far have had extremely different personalities. I am watching for the next book because he actually WANTS a human omega. I think this is a really good alien series and I will be awaiting the next book.

Milana Jacks writes amazing Alpha's. I love the dark side of these characters and it only takes one Omega to give them a softer side. This story is unlike any other and the world she has created is so unique. I absolutely love all her books and how she can suck you in and make you never want to leave. Could not put this book down and I can not wait to read the next one. Milana Jacks is a one click author for me.

So Cyan stumbles from frat party into a swamp and meets Kinre, brother to Loven from the first book. This is pretty much the same book as the first one. Is this bad? Not really, you are a bit more prepared this time for the alphas magnetic dick and the heroine's constant need to impale herself on it. This is the basic premise of the series. How long can an alpha and an omega last in close quarters before the omegas pussy goes up in flames. It's all good times.

Kinre and Cyan were a great couple. I really enjoy the humor and I also enjoyed the Alpha's fight against himself. He knew he wanted her but he fought himself.

I liked that Cyan was feisty yet she knew who she wanted and went with the flow. These hardheaded Alpha's are being taken to school. ( lol )

Heat level 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Looking forward to book 3.

If this chic don't stop screaming OMFG just shut up! <--what I was thinking though most of this book.

This book follows another a/o pair with a slightly different dynamic. As the last book, the narration was juvenile and annoying but the world was interesting.

Short and easy to read but not something incredibly memorable.

Not as good as the first

But it was still fun. It was nice to see a heroine that could shop in Lane Bryant. Plus Kinre had a way of making her feel curvaceous but tiny. I love that!

This book seemed a bit shorter than the rest. I totally have no problem with that. I think a book should be as long (or short) as it needs to be to tell a great story. However, I wondered at times if the author tried to stretch things out a bit to make the book longer. I say this because there seemed to be a lot of repetition.

It didn’t repeat the last book so much, as in a recap to fill in gaps you might have forgotten. Rather, it repeated portions of this book, as if I couldn’t remember what happened two chapters ago. It was weird.

This book had a bit of S&M in it. I wasn’t really feeling it though. The spankings seemed so random and out of the blue. I’ve never done the S&M thing, so maybe it’s just me. One minute everything seems normal and the next he decides this is a good time turn her over his knee to spark her. I don’t know. It was weird to me and pulled me out of the book.

One thing I didn’t understand was the rules of transporting to Earth. So far we have 2 human women. Why does it seem like the transports just started to happen and why only women? Why are they landing in different places? So many questions.

The plot furthered the series, which was great. Like the first, this book had a satisfying ending. Not a cliffhanger, but definitely not and end to the series. I know what needs to occur in the next book (the mission), also good. It makes me a little excited to read the next.

Once again, I absolutely enjoyed reading about the mash up between sexy aliens and Omegaverse. As a fan of sexy aliens who somehow end up falling head over heels for human females, whether it is a capture/kidnap or invasion, I think the author does a great job incorporating the Alpha/Omega dynamic theme into the alien theme.
This second book is about Kinre, who is the second-in-command of the Horde. He is also the brother of the Alpha of the Horde (book one was about him). This book is different because the male protagonist is the total opposite of the first one. Kiren does not want an Omega and wants to avoid being "bonded/tied-down" at all costs. He sees how being bonded limits your existence to pretty much just caring about an Omega and he does not want to fall prey to that type of existence. However the Universe has something else stored for him. Not only does he get Cyan, an Omega, but he gets an Omega who has been psychologically marred by the 'alpha' in her family- her stepdad. Also, I like that Cyan is completely different from the first Omega. Cyan has Latina roots (Mexican), and there are a few words in Spanish used throughout the book, she has a different background where she is working for her college tuition, and she has a different body shape. Though there are subtle hints of body image issues, I like that the author does not necessarily make it a Big Beautiful Woman book, but highlights the fact that women come in all shapes and sizes.
I definitely look forward to the next book where we get to know another Alpha who is just dying for his own Omega :)

My friend who loves loves loves paranormal alien romance has harped to me about this series , I was on a thriller kick for the past few weeks and totally ignored her ...however I picked up the first one of these series and got friggin hooked , this the second in a series of these alien warlords warriors who fight their whole lives under a tyrannical king who promises them to share one of his omegas / mate if they fight and work for him all their lives. However big bad kingy poo has been keeping a secret from them .. and one by one they find their own omegas that happen to be human women that fall through a portal and transport to their world.

Now the anti heroes in this series are written just right , so many times I will read similar books and either the heroes are too rough and brutal and its just a turn off , or they suddenly become mush and well its also a turn off too. But this author , so far, are making the heroes just right for my tastes , they are brutish enough but they dont cross that line into brutality ... you see their soft side because she has every other chapter in the heroes pov and that makes all the difference ..

Yes they are a bit primitive .. yes they are green .. and yes they are highhanded and possessive .. but would I want of my very own .. YES!!

This is a great escape and series and the characters are made in such a way that you want to know what happens next . I loved it .

This heroine sounded like she was close to her family, but didn't seem to really care at all she was abducted in a way. And she did not complain or worry about her family on earth. Sounds like she was close to them, even her brother being in the military planned a role in her thinking, doesn't she think he will wonder what happened to her then? Sex scenes were semi flat. At least she liked the alpha and did not fight tooth and nails against bonding. But it fell flatter than the first in this series. But I was glad it was less 'rapey' than the first. I did not like how the main female continued to view herself as curvy and a bigger girl and continued to mention it, but acted like it was just normal and nothing she could do about it. I believe at one point she said she was a size 16. But her job was landscaping and working physical labor outside. Then how was she a larger size and why did she get so out of breath? I just couldn't work around those issues to like this book.

Liked it better then the first

I have mixed emotions with this author because her work is Science fiction yet a lot of it comes off very Non-Science Fiction I mean yeah this chick gets sent to a different world by some portal but the way these aliens talk and every thing it just doesn't seem all that different for me. Like the very first book I rated 3 stars because Loven the Alpha literally tells his omega to sit on his d*ck and spin. That sounds like any red blooded male you come across LoL I enjoy science fiction books I read where the author goes through the trouble of making it so authentic they even create their own language those little minor details mean a lot to me. Having said all that I still enjoyed the book it wasn't terrible there were some parts that were kind of hard to get through so I kind of skimmed but all in all I liked Kinre and Cyna I wouldn't say it would be a waste of time to read

Cyan was minding her own. business trimming the bushes when all of a sudden she found herself in a swamp on an alien planet being stoked by the Queen Serpent and kidnapped a large green armored alien. When Kinre desires to kill the large thing that crashing though the swamp and awoke the Queen Serpent the last thing he wanted to find was a human Omega. On a mission for his Horde's Alpha to make allies of the Teleans Cyan was a distraction he did not need, but was unwilling to let go.
This is the second book in the Alpha Horde Series and though it sac be read alone, and is better if read as such. No cheating, No cliffhanger
I have read and reviewed this as a voluntary ARC.

This is an interesting world and a great addition to the Omegaverse subgenre.

Kinre is Loven's brother, and now that Loven is soon to be at war with the King, he's sent Kinre out to make allies. That's when he finds Cyan, a human omega.

Cyan has no clue what has happened. Last she knew, she was in San Diego and then she was in a swamp. Then some alien male saved her from a snake and now wants her just like she wants him.

This is a great world. I like what's happening in it and I can't wait to read the next book and to see what's going to happen next, especially with the King. I hope he dies by fire, slowly and painfully.

Sweet and funny !

This is the love story between Cyan and Kinre. I loved it. He was a bit rougher than Loven was but also sweet and kind of funny. Any way he lacked as an alpha, he always made up for it after they bonded. I also loved that a curvy girl was chosen.

Cyan walks through a portal, ends up in a swamp being chased by a huge snake. She's terribly afraid of snakes and she ends up in a planet with a serpentine deity lol.

Now Kinre has to enlist the Talleans for the upcoming war while resisting the natural pull towards Cyan and poor Cyan has no idea what an Omega is or what's happening to her.

True alpha aliens

For those of you who like their alien to look like an alien instead of a glorified human this book is for you.
Kinre is Loven from book ones' brother. On his way to complete a mission for allies, Kinre stumbles upon a human woman.
Cyan has been transported to an alien planet but she doesn't know how she got there. She has been called an Omega, but what does that mean?
Follow along as Cyan discovers the intricacies of this strange planet. If you like alpha men who are in to BDSM type relationships then I suggest you read this wonderful book.
