Give a new twist LT damn badass GI girl ain’t got 37 pages of thoughts as someone is pulling the trigger the last fraction of an inch before lightning strikes him. Or a rock falls out of nowhere on his head.
Engrossing Rachel Hatch is such an intriguing character that I thoroughly enjoyed binge-listening this 3-pack. The depth in her character and that of several others, including Dalton Savage, turns this series from an ordinary thriller to fantastic suspense. All three of these books had me spellbound and speechless as the plots unfolded and the bad guys just kept coming.
Fans of action, suspense, or thriller reads with a strong female lead and rich characterizations will enjoy the fast pace and intricate plots of these tales.
I really enjoyed books 1-6. One of my first thoughts was that it reminded me somewhat of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series. Rachel Hatch finds trouble wherever she goes and even tho it wasn’t always her fight, she ends it. Or should I say she ends them, until the next spot of trouble finds her. If you are into hero’s who aren’t looking to be acknowledged for it, these are your next great reads. Rachael Hatch kicks butt and doesn’t take names. She is unforgettable though.
I read Drift 4 years ago and enjoyed it. What a change in quality of writing in this trio of dashed off novels. They were full of cliche, repetition, why way something once when you fill pages with the same theme at least 3more times! Smoke Signal was the worst, it became interesting 95% through, hence 0 stars. Whitewater marginally better, hence 1 star. The best of a condisendingly poor bunch was Firewalk. Maybe I've read some decent authors in the interim, but I will never invest in L T Ryan again.
I now know more about the home of our southern neighbors than l ever thought l would. I’ve been to Mexico, but to the glitz and glamour of the southern resorts. Lately l’ve been learning more and realize there’s more to Mexico than beaches. Oh, the story isn’t bad either! Thank you, guys.
There is lots of suspense especially in Book 6 Whitewater. Good reads inspite of the violence. I must confess a bit more editing wouldn't hurt. And an occasional verification might help (Like fireflies in Durango? - maybe Book 3) Women especially will enjoy this kick a.. girl.
Exciting adventures and dangerous action abound when Hatch is in town! Sometimes hard to believe this one woman army can pull it off, but even while bruised, battered, and half dead, Hatch comes through in TBE end!
Rachel Hatch is a character who can only be considered human.
Thank you for an amazing story. You make the characters real, alive, I am delighted to go to the next story. What can Rachel Hatch and friends do next to set the world right? NEXT! By
Rachel Hatch lives with a code, protect the innocent, punish the bad a code left to her by her father. The situations she comes across need a hero if ever there is one to be had.
I love the Super woman in Hatch. She's broken in the right ways. Forever hopeful forever winning. You wish you were able to execute like she does but you don't
The books have good character development and interesting action . At times the endings are a touch unbelievable and call for some acceptance and bending of the real world Still I keep reading ..Hatch is a good heroine in the messy world of bad folks and that makes a difference
