TAKEN IS LIVE!!!! Go binge, besties!!!

K.K. Allen truly can do it all... and moreover do it exceedingly well.
When I started the first book of this trilogy, I knew I happened upon something special. I was entranced from the start and with each book it only got more addicting. More enchanting.
This series has everything I love in a contemporary romance with just the right amount of mystery and magic to make a truly spellbinding story.
Contemporary and fantasy romance readers alike will be blown away by this riveting tale!

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow!! I was hooked on the Enchanted Gods trilogy from the start, but this conclusion is just, wow! I’m stunned, and I can’t begin to find the words to tell you how phenomenal this ride has been.

We've watched Katrina Summers go from a misfit high school girl to a strong, insightful, gifted woman who settles into her supernatural talents and uses them to fight the ultimate evil and take care of her loved ones and her community. And somehow she still makes time to find her fated love.

Truly, I’m not much for a paranormal romance, but I’m so glad I took a chance on this one, cliffies and all. Kat is a brilliant character and it's captivating to see each layer peeled back as she comes into her own. The battle between good and evil is spellbinding with riveting twists, turns and surprises. And the love story? Gah! So much sweet swoony epic-ness it filled my heart to bursting!

PNR fan or not, I urge you to read this trilogy. Perfectly crafted and brilliantly executed, this one has all the elements that take a novel from an entertaining story to an unforgettable masterpiece. Easily one of my top five reads for the year, this is a must-read you definitely won’t want to miss!

K.K. Allen kept the best for last in the Enchanted God Trilogy. Taken was so consuming, I just couldn’t stop reading. Katrina’s journey against Erebus, the God of Darkness, was truly so interesting.

This novel took a sharp turn on the romance side with passionate moments between Kat and her fated, Johnny. I loved the dynamic between these two and the deep-rooted feelings they share. The whole gang from Apollo Beach was once again so committed to win against Erebus, trying everything to contain his darkness. The magical aspect of this novel was mesmerizing.

Taken was truly a sensational read! I couldn't have hoped for a better conclusion to this fantastic series. K.K. Allen wrapped up an intoxicating, sweet and lovely fantasy romance! I hope to see more of this world in the future!!!

This is how you end an amazing fantasy trilogy!!

Taken is the third and final book in Allen's Enchanted Gods series. She definitely ends this trilogy on a high note and keeps readers vested through the entire three books.

Allen definitely delivered a very dramatic and epic ending to this series. There has been a huge buildup to Kat's fate and this new world she found herself a part of. Readers have learned so much about the Enchanters and this amazing world built off the descendants of Gods and Goddesses.

So much was left open and unknown at the end of Fated. Johnny abruptly leaves and Kat finds herself, one again, questioning so much. She is still learning more and more about her heritage and the secrets that Rose has been keeping from her.

Allen gives readers everything they want and more. This book did start out a bit slower for me, but quickly picked up and kept on moving along at the right pace. I enjoyed all the twists and surprises that Allen wrote, keeping readers guessing at what happens next.

Enchanted Gods is a trilogy that everyone needs to read. Even if you aren't a fan of fantasy, I will find it hard to believe that anyone who loves romance, won't enjoy this just as much. Highly, highly recommend!

Taken by K.K. Allen brings the epic conclusion to the fantasy trilogy. It was an interesting mix of fantasy, mythology, action, suspense and romance in a contemporary setting.

Kat Summers has a lot on her mind and in her life. Her serious responsibilities as descendant of the powerful Enchantress line. Her broken heart. Her family and friends being threatened by Erebus, the evil dark energy. Will she find a way to beat Erebus finally?

In this story, Kat is reunited with her Fated, Johnny Pierce. Who is descendant of Poseidon. Their connection is powerful and their magical powers can do wonders. But the story is filled with so many twists those will keep you engaged. The Author did a good job of creating Apollo Beach, a whole world set in contemporary setting filled with magical and mythical people. I loved to see Kat's evolution and I love Johnny's intensity. For me, this story was going in circles and was a bit slow. May be I was just impatient to reach the conclusion. But this was not as tightly written as last two books.

Taken was everything I hoped it would be for the finale of this incredible trilogy! KK Allen blew me away with the entire story. Her ability to transform fantasy, mix in a contemporary flair and reach perfection seemed effortless.
In this final book, Kat Summers truly embraces her power completely. She is slowly healing from the events that shredded her heart and just in time. This will be the ultimate fight of good versus evil. So many different elements take place in this installment. There are twists and turns, a fated love story for the ages, defending those that mean the world to you and a final battle to end all battles. I have always loved mythology and I loved the author's take on the genre. I feel like I've been waiting forever to find out how this epic story would come to a close and it was definitely worth the wait. I have no doubt I will be revisiting this trilogy several more times in the months and years to come. I really hope Ms. Allen writes more in this world. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

I was dying to read this book the minute book 2 (Fated) ended. From page one, this story was fantastic, consuming and perfect in every page. The perfect conclusion to Katrina Summers journey to finding herself and stepping into a new reality where Greek gods aren't just myths but a reality.

As a character, I loved how Kat grew into the woman she was destined to be. From the shy, misunderstood girl to the amazing fearless woman she came to be, facing and fighting evil to defend and protect the ones she loved.

SO many emotions were shown in the first few pages of this book and shocking revelations towards the end. ABSOLUTELY PERFECTION!!!

Kat had so many important decisions to make, in love, in life and for her future and I was rooting for her every step of the way.

K.K. Allen created the most amazing YA paranormal series ever and I can't recommend this series enough. Read it you'll love it!!!!!

What an epic wild ride this book was!!! The final installment in the Enchanted Gods series DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
Taken is filled with suspense, secrets, swoon worthy moments, love, dedication and shock! Will keep you truly transfixed until the very end.
I loved seeing how Kat changed and found herself. I love that so much. I loved the characters, her friends/family (esp her Grandmother).
That being said in this read you'll find yourself enchanted in a world of good vs evil -- but who would prevail?! The secrets, fated soulmates, twists and turns, and epic love story.... were so spellbinding!! I can't stress enough how swoon worthy it is! (so swoon worthy)

I am sad to see this incredible series end but I loved it so much.
Even if you're not a PNR reader- I know you will love this fantasy. It has everything you love.
KK Allen's enchanted world is so bewitching -- one I could truly see be made into a movie.

I hope KK Allen continues to write in this genre. She's phenomenal in this craft and can tell she poured her heart and soul into this.

5 stars from me.

Woah... just, wow.
I was already firmly in camp Johnny but honestly didn’t know if it would actually happen.

After his abrupt and heart wrenching departure in the last book, I wondered whether we would even be graced with his presence. We didn’t have to wait too long to find out.

K.K. promised more steam in this book and she definitely delivered. The intense connection between Kat and Johnny—despite time and space—was as instantaneous as it was in the first book.

The return of family members (no spoilers here, sorry) definitely threw everything for a loop.
What is real?
Who can she trust?
When will Erebus return?
Who will he get next?
Well, to find out you’ll have to read the book because even if I wanted to, I couldn’t explain everything that happened in this instalment. There was a lot to take in.

The hits just kept coming and I was so engrossed in this book I barely remembered to function in real life.

I’m so glad I took a chance on this series because these characters were so incredibly protective and loving, giving and selfless that I just wanted to bottle their essence to sprinkle in my world.

So I binged this trilogy right from the start and I can't even tell you guys how much I loved it! The conclusion is finally here and I am so not ready for it.

This take has been one of my favourites and so is this author. Fantasy Romance and that too dark is something I will definitely one click all the time and this book is perfect for all the dark romance loving people. The ending was perfect and soothed my soul the best. My heart hurt for the characters because they went Through so much! I hope we get to see more of these characters in some other books because I clearly want more.

Definitely recommending this one to all the dark fantasy romance loving people. This is the last part of the enchanted gods trilogy and does not have a cliffhanger!

This dramatic conclusion will keep you riveted as Kat and the Enchanted community find a way to defeat Erebus with the power of many.

Kat is stronger than she thinks. Her bravery and stubborness will serve her well as she is forced to make an impossible choice. Never underestimate her strength because she will always choose the greater good.

The author created a magical world that cherishes the environment and does it’s best to preserve it. Many will come together for one purpose. The community will unite to defeat the evil that lurks and continues to hunt their people. The fight will be relentless and lives will be lost.

Get swept up into the magical world of Apollo Beach and all of its inhabitants. Descendants of gods and goddesses from ancient history reside in this small town where their identities are protected from the normals. Love is fated and once you find yours it’s forever. It’s a wonderful world to escape within.

Epic conclusion! Now I need to re-read the entire series back to back because this is one story you cannot just read once. Kat has come into her own and grown so much since the first book and the author keeps giving us more. This was sweet, sexy, and full of twists and turns that I couldn't sleep after. It's still in my head!

Taken is book 3 and the EPIC conclusion to K.K. Allen’s Enchanted Gods trilogy. This book is told through Kat’s POV but we get a few chapters told in another POV which is a pleasant surprise. These books must be read in order so do not start this one if you haven’t read Cursed or Fated.
What. The. Plot. Twist?!?! K.K. doesn’t half @$$ anything so I knew this book would be no exception. After the first two books and the crazy cliffhanger we had a lot of questions that needed to be answered. Let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! Let us all bow down to the queen of angst and suspense! I thought I knew where this book was going, and in the vaguest sense I was kind of right. But buckle up because the journey to the conclusion of this story is a wild ride. So many new elements and people are introduced. Kat’s character growth was so fun to read. She’s probably one of my favorite female characters of all time. The steam is holy cannoli H O T! The whole series has been a slow burn but K.K. brings all the hotness in this one. I’ve loved the Greek mythology and the history throughout the whole series. I truly didn’t want it to end. Be prepared to cry, this book is so emotional. It wrecked me for awhile. Honestly, I’ve never read a book by K.K. Allen that I didn’t enjoy, but this trilogy and Taken in particular are my absolute favorites. If you are looking for an amazing book to read look no further! Even if you aren’t a fan of mythology or fantasy this series is so well written and such an original storyline, and with so many amazing characters you will fall in love with everyone at Apollo Beach.

Taken is the book that you all have been waiting for, heck is the book I was dying for!

Everything, all the pain, suffering, doubt has all lead up to one thing; Katrina’s decision! There are choices that needed to be made. If you thought book 1 and 2 had emotions high this book will SHAKE YOU TO YOUR CORE!

I will say that the bonds of family, friends and love really shine in this book! For me those took center stage and are what really had me loving this series! There was a lot to learn for each character and seeing their development was breathtaking!

I also have to give a happy warning about the amazing steam levels of this book! It’s a definite 5 on the hot meter for me and had me fanning myself several times. I am sad to see this series end and if you were waiting for it to all be done to get started well start now and binge to your heart’s desire because KK’s take in myths and legends was out of this world! She took a change on fantasy and I am so thrilled that she did!

What an epic way to end this series! Kat is such a great heroine and I just love her despite wanting to scream at her more times than I care to admit. I was so ready for Johnny to be back in Apollo Beach and explain himself. I love the all the little twists that came with this installment of the story. I was pulling for Kat to get her answers about the secrecy surrounding the energy plants and to learn more about her solstice and equinox entries and boy does she ever! This story was the perfect mix of fantasy and romance with a hint of suspense. Will we finally see an end to Erebus or will evil win? Read it to find out for yourself! KK Allen you have outdone yourself with this series. I loved everything about it!

Epic! Adventurous, full of love and excitement. It is everything that a fantasy series needs and K.K. Allen delivered.

I was heartbroken, along with Kat, at the end of Fated when Johnny left. As we discovered he was not only a missing piece in helping to fight evil in Apollo Beach, but he took Kat's heart with him as well. Their love story was just beginning, but his need to avenge his parent's death overrode his need to stay. Crushed didn't even begin to describe how I felt, but their journey wasn't over, thankfully.

Taken picks up almost a year and a half later and as time has moved on, Kat's heart is still mending from the events that occurred almost eighteen months ago. There has been no contact from Johnny, Apollo Beach has been peaceful, Kat is making amends with her father, and she has finally decided to move on with her life. Can we say love triangle once more, but aside from that, peaceful times is the perfect moment for chaos to erupt in Kat's life, especially when she's feeling comfortable.

Taken weaves back and forth through the present and the past year and a half to fill in gaps of not only what Kat has been up to, but also where Johnny has been. Yes! We finally get a look inside of the mysterious man that has pulled at the heartstrings of Kat for the past few years. His part of the story always took my breath away. Loved every second inside of his head.

Even as Johnny and Kat work on mending their broken relationship, they work even harder at finding a solution to stopping Erebus, even if it means sacrificing herself to do it. Kat has come a long way from the girl we met in Cursed.

This book is full of suspenseful adventure, destined romance, lots of magic, and uncovered secrets. It's an epic journey that shouldn't be missed. This trilogy should be read in order and not as a standalone.

From a magic system based around Greek mythology to a sweet love story that makes the reader smile like an idiot whenever the two characters are together to mysteries behind every corner, this book has it all. Fans of fantasy, mythology, magic and romance will devour this book. This book was a stunning conclusion to a series I will definitely miss.

Reading the final book in a series is always a bittersweet moment for me. Over the past couple of months this book series has quickly become one of my favorites of the year from the characters that come off of the pages to the deep rooted Magic system, I couldn’t put this book down.

As a lover of Greek mythology ever since I picked up the Percy Jackson series, I was immediately drawn to this book series. I should also note that I have a high bar for Magic systems, and this Magic system not only met but exceeded expectations. The Magic system is intertwined throughout the book, and there was no huge massive info dump. As the reader we were slowly introduced to the additional magic, getting more and more information in a realistic manner. (Finding out with the main character which made it even easier to fall into this well crafted world)

The romance in this book, both tension and heartache, comes off the page. Filled with several moments where this book tugged at my heartstrings, this book has a strong romance element. There is some *spice*, but it fits in with the plot. This is a book that will hit your heart when you finish it. I could go on and on about the romance (not only in this book, but series), but I don’t want to spoil anything.

I would highly recommend this book!

Genre/Tropes: Fantasy, Fated Love
POV: 1st, Dual
Series: Enchanted Gods, Book 3
STEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥🔥

Okay, I seriously loved this entire series. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the whole love triangle that kind of hovered throughout all 3 books despite the fact it was a Fated Love story. I am a hardcore romantic. If a story involves FATED lovers, there’s no need for drama and this one had a lot of it. This might be a “me thing” but I’ll tell you now it still didn’t take away my love for this series.

Other than that, everything from the plot to the progression, and yes, to the fated love just made me so obsessed! The way the author explains magic, energy, and what the enchanters do with it was SO interesting. How easily recycling and taking care of the planet was weaved throughout this story was a neat facet to read about. The whole premise between caring for the ocean and the land, of using powers for good and then recycling that power for even MORE good was just unbelievably creative!

And I LOVED our MMC and was so glad for a few chapters in his POV. He knew he messed up and he owned it. He was persistent and honest. And our sweet, stubborn Kat just continued to grow and mature with the exception of making choices on her own, which I find a typical trait in fantasy romances. Bad, Kat! But at least she has a great group of friends and loved ones because the journey they all take was thrilling and magical and after that epilogue I just feel happy.

This was a fabulous, steamy conclusion to this trilogy! I absolutely loved it!

"He always seemed to steal the air in all the space we shared. And just like before, wild flutters release from deep in my belly."

After the events of Fated, Katrina Summer is trying to move on with her life. However, just as she's settling into something new, an old face reappears. Not only are her feelings thrown into disarray, but also the threat of their enemy is gaining momentum. As Kat and the Enchanters start to figure out how to defeat him, Kat also comes to the conclusion that sacrifices may need to be made in order for her loved ones to survive.

"I want everything, Kat. Don't you know that by now? Your lips, your body, your heart, your soul."

This was such a thrilling, exciting instalment, as well as intensely romantic. Kat and her fated love were mesmerising. The author wrote some pretty epic intimate scenes between them. They were magical and wonderous. The whole trilogy was fascinating, well-thought-out and well-executed. I was enthralled from start to finish!

What an incredible finish to an amazing trilogy!!

Taken is the final book in the Enchanted Gods trilogy and one definitely not to be missed!

This is the conclusion to Katrina Summers and Johnny Pierce’s story.

Taken takes you on an incredible journey as they go up against Erebus and try to find out what he’s truly after. The twists and turns this book has kept me on the edge of my seat all the way.

The characters are truly amazing throughout this entire series. Rose, is the grandmother that I think everyone truly wishes they had. She’s so secretive but she always has a reason for keeping those secrets.

We meet a few new characters (who I won’t name) who truly make this book one I won’t soon forget.

The obstacles that all the characters have to overcome in this book definitely prove that K.K. Allen put her heart and soul into this book.

I’m so sad to see the end of this trilogy as it’s been one of my favourites of 2021. Meeting the various characters and their powers was awesome and so imaginative that I really thought they existed.

I can’t recommend this book and this series enough!

"Ones that don't involve me leaving you. Memories that only belongs to us" ~Johnny
TEAM JOHNNY 🥳

Now I told you one of my fav quotes and now I will tell what I think of this story.

First WHAT WHAT WHAT !! Sooo many surprises and too many fav scenes. There is a time gap of 1 year 3 months 2 weeks 4 days yes Kat & Johnny counted the days apart. When the book ended we know they are Fated & they are currently healing...no spoilers

Johnny get his own POV and we learn what he learnt about Erebus on that year apart. Especially when Erebus possess a body...no spoilers. And when they are together it nice to see what he think when he has Kat in his arms & protecting her from danger !!

There are amazing magic scenes in this book that will blow your mind and I love that the Plant is...no spoilers

Peter Kat's dad is amazing dad and I love all their father & daughter moment especially over the tree house 🌳 We also see Peter memories with Grace Kat's mam & missing her. Their love is forever...no spoilers

Now K.K Allen did a BRILLIANT job on the ending. I had tears but they are happy tears 🥰🥲❤

I have to say that I adored this book and I love this trilogy.

This is the last book in the Enchanted Gods series and in my opinion it was the most actioned-packed combined with the perfect touch of romance. This is the perfect ending to the series.

It follows where Fated ends and shows us how Katrina is trying to cope with Johnny leaving and her trying to move on. On the night of the Arctic Masquerade Ball - Erebus strikes again and warns Kat and that he needs information. This also turns out to be the night Johnny returns.

I have to say - I love the whole idea about having someone who is Fated to you for life, ultimately Johnny and Kat are just incredible together.

I also love Kat's friends and all the Enchanters. The Apollo beach community is always there to support and help each other. I also like the message that K.K. Allen sends about how Normals (e.g us humans) destroy our planet and all the Enchanters are trying to recycle their magic so that it's more Eco-friendly and they are not damaging the environment.

I loved all the battles and was just kept on the edge of my seat.

I definitely recommend this series!

P.S. I was kindly provided with an ARC in return for my honest opinion.

Book three in the Enchanted Gods trilogy

“Wherever you are is where I’ll be. Forever.”

Kat loses relationships and forms new relationships… We have a time jump but get glimpses into what happened during the time jump. There’s so much culmination to the story and I love how everything comes together. I love that there is still surprises sprinkled through the book too since it’s wrapping up the trilogy.

Also, we get chapters in Johnny’s POV! I love dual POV and this has been all in Kat’s POV until this book. The chapters in Johnny’s POV are critical to the story too and I love them so much!

I’ve loved this magical journey. It’s been a slow burn through the first two books but book three gives you everything you’ve been waiting for! You really get to experience Kat discover herself and her new world and it’s beautiful.

For non fantasy readers I think this book can still appeal to you! It’s so much more than the fantasy elements that are present, but they do make it all that much more magical.

OH LAWD! I thought this conclusion to an explosive paranormal trilogy would never come out. This whole world that K.K. Allen created on Apollo Beach is one that I will be revisiting over & over & over again because it's magical & brilliant, and I feel like those characters are now my friends. My gosh, watching Kat coming into her own with each step she takes to become who she's supposed to be was amazing. She may or may not have had some heartbreak, but that didn't stop her when it came time to protect those she loved. I'm doing my best to be very vague because y'all really need to go in blind to get the whole effect, and trust me, it will knock you for a loop in the very best of ways. The twists that have been swirling all over the place are coming to a head so all questions have been answered, and I'm still in awe of this brilliant author, and I hope she makes some more stories about some of the supporting cast of characters (hint hint but no pressure LOL). Anyway, just buckle up & enjoy the ride as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I absolutely could not get enough of this conclusion to Kat’s story. Throughout this series, the author did a fabulous job of allowing the reader feel as though they were a part of the character’s growth. We have seen Kat go through so many phases and then throw in a twist or two to keep us guessing, this series was just everything that makes a great story and is worth every ounce of sleep I lost finishing. ~Helen

Totally worth the wait. Kat's story is one full of highs and lows. From the Epilogue to the last page my heart raced and I wanted "good" to win. Kat's future is barreling down on her as Erebus threatens all she loves. Can Kat, along with her friends from Apollo Beach, come up with a plan to defeat Erebus while saving everyone? Over the span of this story we watch the relationship between Kat and Johnny heat up while the other descendants pair up. I am glad for the conclusion but sad that I won't get to spend more time with the characters of Apollo Beach. This was a great end to the trilogy. ~Cindy
