Deci….,,Rubinul albastru este o carte foarte bună.Totul începe când o piatră prețioasă cunoscută drept rubinul albastru , a fost furată.Contesa oferă 1000 de lire persoanei care deține o informație despre aceasta .
Între timp Holmes și Watson găsesc informați despre acest caz.
Cartea aceasta are aventura,mister și suspans. Merită să o citiți.

When a famously rare diamond is discovered in an unlikely place, only Holmes and Watson can solve the clues of how the diamond was stolen by thieves and subsequently lost.

This Sherlock Holmes mystery is retold and simplified for children ages 7-13. The story follows exactly the same story line as the original book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with much of the same dialogue and narration. Holmes and Watson are the same beloved characters that we know, and the mystery is just as suspenseful and thrilling as the original.

I loved how the writing style is simple, but is still vivid and energetic! The text is large, and there are a few definition boxes that explain terms or historical items that may be unfamiliar.

I loved the black and white illustrations that pop up every few pages. The cartoony style of the drawings is just right for this type of children's retelling, and gives an added flair to the story. The artwork is sometimes humorous and fun, making the story a little more lighthearted for young people.

I can't wait to revisit more Holmes stories in this children's series! This is an excellent way to introduce classics to elementary and middle grade readers!

Another really fascinating mystery with Holmes and Watson, I love reading these and trying to solve the mystery, they are always such oddball cases and I really love that as you never know the twist that’s coming or who is the culprit from early on.

A beat up hat, a goose and a rare blue gem is all they have to solve everything and have to string together from the tiniest clues and get the answers. Holmes is so clever though as there was literally nothing to go off of on this one yet he still managed to solve everything and figure out who done it.

I love these mystery books, they are really just so much fun and so fascinating and most of the time unsolvable. I love that they’ve been made so much easier and more accessible in these easy classics.

My favorite character was Sherlock Holmes because he had something in common with me. The thing that he had in common with me was that he loved to read newspapers.

What surprised me the most was that when Sherlock had to find a crystal he accidently found a goose. And also that when he met a man that he knew the man lied. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE AAAAAAHHHHHHHH. And something surprised me the most was that he found the blue carbuncle.

I would not change the ending because Sherlock found the blue carbuncle and also the lost goose, and because it was a really happy ending.

Книгите от тази поредица определено привличат с графичното оформление на кориците си, карайки те инстинктивно да посегнеш към тях. Чел съм известна част от творчеството на сър Артър Конан Дойл на руски, английски и български, но винаги с оригиналния текст. Беше ми любопитно да видя как са се справили с адаптацията за по-млади читатели. Идеята заслужава адмирации, защото колцина от днешните деца биха посегнали към тези овехтели криминални главоблъсканици, при положение че рафтовете на книжарниците са изпълнени с далеч по-атрактивно изглеждащи корици на фентъзи заглавия от модерни автори. Сравнявайки адаптирания вариант с оригинала не мога да не отчета, че майсторството на сър Артър си остава ненадминато. Опитът за адаптация на Сюзан Боде не е никак лош и недостатъците му спрямо текста на Дойл проличават едва при сравнително четене. Някои моменти в адаптирания текст звучат неясно. Сякаш преразказващият се е оплел в опитите си да опрости текста, постигайки обратния ефект – той е станал неясен и дори на места нелогичен. Но това са дребни кусури на фона на по-голямата идея – да бъдат запознати малките читатели с част от творчеството на този забележителен британски автор. Признавам си, че е леко несвойствено за опитен читател да се справи с голямата разредка, предвидена за по-неопитните в четенето деца. По този начин това тънко книжле наистина се превръща в „page-turner“ – едната ти ръка е постоянно заета да прелиства страниците. Голямото достойнство на книгите от поредицата обаче си остава графичното оформление, което далеч не се изчерпва с цветните корици. По страниците е пълно с черно-бели илюстрации, като са включени и някои обяснителни карета, даващи допълнителна информация за епохата. Навремето всичко това не беше необходимо – разчитахме на собственото си въображение и на общата си култура, възможна единствено благодарение на активното четене. Е, времената се менят. Главното все пак е да бъде съхранен интересът към четенето като важна и необходима човешка дейност, като способност и нужда на развиващия се ум. В борбата за запазването на това умение, на тази потребност, са позволени всякакви хватки.

An adaptation that both an 8-year-old and his Brit father found satisfying and enjoyed. Occasional side notes were helpful in explaining certain terms and to give some context. Did not recall Sherlock stories being quite so funny (will have to check the originals)... but that may be due to the very charming illustrations. Look forward to reading the others in the series.

It's a great story. The inclusion of illustrations as well as definitions to the story certainly makes it better for new fans of Sherlock Holmes.
