Bratva's Claim #3

Hunted by the Bratva Beast

Rate this book
The monster hunting my nightmares might be the man of my dreams.

The hell I was born into broke me, damaged me, and pieced me back together. I’ve come a long way from Russia’s foster system – now I’m third in command to my brother, the head of the Kashenko Bratva.

But the past has a way of never staying there.

There’s a demon on the loose — a huge, savage, ruthless killer they call The Beast. Kostya Romanoff has broken out of his cage looking to settle a blood debt he thinks my family owes him.

Now he’s hunting for one thing: me.

The hunt is on. But I shouldn’t like that he watches me. I shouldn’t tremble with heat and anticipation every time I feel those those eyes pierce, possess, and caress.

The prey shouldn’t ache for the hunter. The rabbit shouldn’t crave the wolf’s sharp teeth.

He’s invading my every waking thought. Corrupting every dream. And it’s getting hard to keep track of what I should or shouldn’t be feeling.

I might be the broken beauty he’s been looking for. And God help me, he might be exactly the beast I’ve always wanted.

Buckle up: this Bratva stalker/captive romance is a steamy non-stop thrill ride that I promise will leave you breathless and aching for more. Safe, absolutely no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a perfect happy ever after.

A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.

Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.

We get Nina the sister of the guys in the other books. And this one is spicy and Stalker-ish.

Kostya is finally going to get his revenge and when he spots Nina from his research he knows he's going to take her. But when the plan starts he sees her more up close and is stunned he knows her from long ago. Now hes still stalking Nina and already plans to make her his.

As for Nina she's ready for her beast even if bad things have happened to her the last couple days.. now they both know there's another Stalker coming for her.

Tiny om drama,No cheating, drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

So far, my favorite in the series! There was more action in the third installment than the previous ones and Kostya and Nina's story held my attention from start to finish. And it's full of spicy, hot, sizzling moments.

Loved this couple!!
This hero melted my heart.

One thing too..

After reading a lot of books by this author this days...after i finish any of them i get the same thoughts and feelings... Good author, good story, good writing style BUT in each book if there is a V h while they are intimate there is NEVER a barrier...lol,no blood,a flinch? something? never, like they never were in the first place. Second problem? the epilogues aren't what i want usually in a story, they give almost no info about the future...maybe engagement and marriage but we never get to know about children or something else...i wish they were longer.
Other than that? the stories are really good.

This was my first Jagger Cole book (I know it was out of order) but it won’t be my last! I actually can’t wait to go back and read the first two in this series. When you get a steamy mafia romance that has the suspense, HEA and an epilogue, why wouldn’t you want to read it?!

Nina had a hard childhood until her stepbrother showed up one day and gave her a better life. Now that she works for him, she has a stable life but someone is on the hunt for her.

Kostya was raised by a foster father who trained him to be lethal. When a job goes bad, he takes the blame and is sent away. While in prison he becomes known as The Beast. Living up to his name, when Kostya finds out his foster father is killed, he decides to enact revenge.

Definitely a hot mafia romance. I loved the flashbacks that helped fill in the story and how it was all intertwined. Definitely need to read the other books but could also be read as a stand alone, in my opinion.

Spoiler alert…

Let me break it down for you:
He…growls, snarls, sneers
She…whimpers, rakes teeth over lip and is a virgin who has mind-blowing sex without pain and multiple orgasms the first time. Never condoms or birth control and never gets pregnant.
Great plot though.
Three books now in the series, same character highlights.🤦🏻‍♀️
Character originality: 0/10
Plot: 9/10

The Hunter's Prey

This was another fantastic book in the Bratva series by Jagger!

I loved the mix of dark and gritty, along with hot and steamy. This story definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.

Nina was a strong, resilient and incredibly brilliant woman. She is exactly the kind of FMC I enjoy reading most.

I will end up buying this one for my permanent collection for that cover model. I have no shame! Yum. Hoping Jagger puts these books into a paperback collection.

This book did have several spelling and continuity errors that pulled me from the story, but this isn't the norm for Jagger so I'm sure it's a fluke.

Being stalked by a sexy beast of a man may be scary for some people, but with the life that Nina has lived, there’s not much that can scare her. Did I mention he was sexy? And a beast of a man? Yeah. I’m all about being hunted by the likes of Kostya.

This story got it’s grips in me good and right from the start. I was instantly captivated with the characters and their tortured, broken pasts. Getting the flashbacks to their life before in Moscow absolutely made the story what it was. It was heartbreaking to hear, but necessary. It pulled at all my emotions.

Cole nailed it with this one and I hated to see it end. Give me all the stories from this author and this Bratva. I want them all. 5 Stars!

Beast&Little One

Another fantastic read from Jagger Cole. I totally fall for Kostya and Nina, their story catch be from the 1st pages. Captivating slow burn, building tension and anticipation, what's next. Hot, sexy, and steamy as it should be.
Highly recommended just like remaining books in series.

I thought the connections between the hero and heroine, starting from childhood, was a really nice touch to the story. Showed they'd been supportive and been saving each other for a long time.

How do people have sex so soon after they're shot though? I don't get that.

Again, I would have LOVED this with like 200 more pages, which is how I've felt about most Jagger Cole books I've read. I thought the story was so good and the twist was interesting, but there isn't enough depth to the characters because the book moved too fast.

It's instalove (definitely NOT enemies-to-lovers), which I know not everyone enjoys, but I have no problem with. However, the FMC and MMC met and then said “I love you” after like 24-ish hours. This is exactly what I mean with the book being too short—I wish we had seen more of their relationship developing.

Tropes:
♡ instalove
♡ stalker/kidnapper
♡ mafia/Bratva

Hate how the conversation doesn’t flow. The 2 speakers keep cutting each other off mid-sentence, giving me fkg whiplash.
Same words all the time “growl”, “sneer”, “snarl”, “hiss”, “my mouth thins.”

SO MANY EDITING ERRORS and they seemed to increase as the book progressed, WTF?! Farkkk, how are these hopeless editors still getting any work? I am so fkg sick of flagging these bloody spelling and formatting errors. It’s frustrating and messy.

Definitely not reading again and definitely not reading more by this author 👎🏼.

Two stars for the bloody hot sex.

Wow this story was awesome 😍😍 It had everything in it that you need. Love, passion, steamy scenes, romantic, dark, action packed with great and complex characters and in the end with a HEA. Kostya and Nina met through a scope but knew each other for far longer. Their lives were intertwined and destiny brought them together.😍😍😍 If you like dark but safe mafia/stalker books this will be totally your story👍👍👍

So, this one just didn’t do it for me. Found it slower to get into and not as enjoyable as the first two. I did enjoy the last quarter of the story hence 3 stars. There is abit more mystery in this one as it isn’t clear from the beginning who the baddie is but it didn’t take me too long to work it out.

Jagger Cole delivers another gripping and darkly intoxicating mafia romance with Hunted by the Bratva Beast, a story that weaves fate, vengeance, and an undeniable passion into a thrilling narrative.

From the cold, unforgiving streets of Moscow to the violent underbelly of the Bratva, Nina Komarov and Kostya Romanoff’s story is one of survival, redemption, and an unbreakable connection.

Both shaped by pain and loss, they unknowingly saved each other in their youth, a moment that would bind them forever—though they didn’t know it at the time. Years later, Kostya escapes from a Siberian prison, determined to avenge his mentor’s death. But when his mission leads him straight to Nina, the girl who once saved him, everything changes. His revenge is no longer just about justice—it’s about protecting her, even if that means tearing her world apart.

Nina has built a life for herself under her half-brother Viktor’s protection, but the past never truly fades. She’s never forgotten the blue-eyed boy who gave her a glimpse of hope in her darkest moments. That same blue-eyed man reappears in the most unexpected way—storming a rooftop party, throwing her family into chaos, and taking a bullet to the chest from her own hand. Yet when she learns he’s still alive, she can’t shake the dangerous longing that lingers.

The story masterfully blends high-stakes action with sizzling tension, creating a romance that is both achingly tender and ferociously intense. Kostya is the embodiment of a Bratva beast—ruthless, possessive, and willing to burn the world down for Nina. Meanwhile, Nina is a fierce survivor in her own right, torn between loyalty to her family and the undeniable pull toward the man who has haunted her dreams for years. Their chemistry is electric, their connection inevitable, and as fate throws them together once more, they are forced to confront the truth: neither of them can outrun their past or the fire that still burns between them.

With a pulse-pounding plot, heart-wrenching emotional depth, and scorching romance, Hunted by the Bratva Beast is a must-read for fans of dark mafia love stories. Jagger Cole delivers a tale of fate, passion, and the kind of love that refuses to be forgotten.

You saved me once angel. Now I will burn hell so save you 🔥

Oh my 🔥 hotness. This is Nina & Kostya's story. If you have read the previous books...Nina is Viktors sister ( Viktor is a Bratva boss ). I will be truthful and say that in book one..I didnt care for Nina for most of the book because I felt like she was trying to put a wedge between Fiona & Viktor, once it is revealed that Nina is Viktors sister....it all made sense as to why she was protective of her brother. So anyways coming into this book I wasn't overly excited since I was kinda bla about Nina...but I was so wrong. Oh my gosh...just when you think the last Jagger Cole book is your favorite he goes and writes another hit that you fall in love with even more. Without giving away to much Kostya is set to take revenge on Viktors family when he spots the ravishing beauty Nina and decides that maybe kidnapping her will be a slow torture for her brother but when he sets his plan into action he is shocked when he realizes that Nina is the same young girl that saved him over 10 years ago...the same young girl that was the only light in his dark twisted world. I freaking loved that even though that even at a young age that Nina made such an everlasting impression on Kostya that he carried a permanent reminder of her with him always. Nina is a bad ass...she can definitely hold her own. Again I will say one thing that I love about these books is that even though they are Mafia books...they're are no mention of them being man whores or having sex with women other than the one they have fallen in love with. It really focuses on the couple and thier love. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, I'm guessing it's Nikolai 🤞. ❤❤❤

Obsessed. That’s what I am with this book and book couple.
Let me explain, I have a HUGE spot for surly, growly, broken, basically feral- caveman type men. I also LOVE when heroines are also down for it. Mixed in with dark and twisted type of romance plot and it’s my book version of heroin.
I know I know.. not doing anything for the feminist movement over here… sue me. I like what I like.
This book had all of it.
The angst, the steam, the broken couple who protects and molds each other back together. I love that Nina didn’t just huddle in the corner either. She protected him as much as he protected her. I have HUGE pet peeves with heroines in book, I usually consider most to be headache inducing. But she will forever be on my top list of favorite heroines ever. Which is a ridiculously small list of now, including her, 5. And I read over 500 books just last year and this year alone.
Although I won’t give it away, their back story was fucking everything as well. I could read BOOOOKS about this couple. I signed up for the newsletter, which I never do because I don’t check my email like that, just to get an extra scene about them. (Which I’m about to go on the hunt for after this.)
I loved how she loved every twisted, broken, and feral piece of him. I love how he only saw goodness in her despite the scars and brokenness she feels inside.
It was just everything. Worth every star. Going to read more since this is my first book by the author, I’m positive I read it out of order but I wasn’t confused at all.
If your book couple and plot tastes aligned with mine.
Read this NOW.
Thank me later.
Or actually, thank the brilliant minded author.

AGAIN, I'M HERE FOR THE GUILTY PLEASURE. IT'S YOUR STEREOTYPICAL BRATVA ROMANCE FEATURING A VERY, VERY ALPHA POSSESSIVE MALE LEAD - GUARANTEED HOTNESS. Remember to set your brain aside when we're all here for some smut :)

KOSTYA (I really like this unique name...wonder how it's pronounced) escaped from one of the most ruthless prisons in Siberia, and he's called The Beast. Wronged as a boy, he took the place of the man whom he called 'father' and went to prison for 10 years. When Fyodor is dead by his son's hand, Kostya vows to take his revenge, only to stumble upon a living breathing remnant of his past - the beautiful and grown Nina. When Kostya learns that there's another lone wolf hunting his Nina, he's going to make sure the bastard goes down. This was pretty straightforward...Kostya meets Nina, he's attracted and even more so by their entwined history. For him, Nina's the girl who tried to save his life and was the only kind and genuine soul he knew.

NINA's Viktor's half-sister and after a horrendous childhood, her life upgrades from the Russian slums to the ritzy, upscale life of America. She's also grown into a hot babe who can't seem to get intimate with men because of how she was beaten as a child. I'm horrified by how romanticized everything was, to be honest....I mean...the stalker part, the violence and sex...it's all too good to be true and absolutely not cool in real life. Nina's pretty much a goner when she first meets and then shoots Kostya. The attraction was hot, yes, but otherwise...there wasn't much going for the story.

OVERALL super simple plot, attractive characters, hot sex and a HEA. An easy read for a busy weekday night.

HEA

I thought it will be about Nikolai but turns out its about Nina the sister of Victor she had a very traumatising past where her life was absolutely darkness yet with all the darkness she showed her colourful butterflies small smiles small life to a guy opposite in her apartment in Moscow and turns out that guy is our beast how FATE TURNED OUT

He came to kill her but when he realised she is his angel he started hunting all the people who wanted to hurt her.......... I thought it will be a deep more story but even I know who the enemy is didnt felt any surprise ther but short stry so
her scars r accepted by him and his darkness by her

She instantly felt love for him he instantly snatched her
In the darkest of the pit he was saved by her she never felt happiness it was very hard to accept your past you can never ever down your walls if you never feel at ease never felt that safety in her beast i'm glad she found that safety that beast was made for only her he was alive because of her and he belongs to her

i always was yours just waiting for u that much she felt safe in his hands

Nothing much to say about this story as its a short breath a story so if you're looking for short series this series is worth it becoz short HEA books in mafia r rare to get

This is the third book in the climate of Russian Bratva. This time the main character is Victor's sister-Nina. And I really enjoyed the story.

Nina is a woman who can take care of herself. When at a party, a shootout begins and she is kidnapped. She doesn't waver and shoots at the attacker, though the man doesn't seem as threatening to her as he should. Even though it's not normal, the woman doesn't stop thinking about him. A few months later, he gives a sign that he is still alive and he hasn't forgotten about her either. As it turns out, the mysterious kidnapper is Kostya, also known as a Beast, who doesn't want to hurt her but protect her from the mysterious perpetrator lurking. Will he be able to defend the woman?

I couldn't pull myself away from this story. The chemistry between the main characters was fire. A big plus for the plot and the motive with the age difference. Additionally, both main characters had strong characters. There was a lot going on, which is a big plus, because you couldn't get bored. I highly recommend it.

🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.

This was one where it is insta-love/ lust but it also feels like it's not because Kostya and Nina met years and years ago.
I didn't love the many flashbacks we had but he it made sense in the story because Nina doesn't really remember it although there is more ways to explained everything that happened without doing flashbacks. With that said they didn't bother me much like they used to.
I very much liked the plot of this, both Kostya and Nina but also all the characters from the previous books.

Now i feel like there is a big TW for gas-lighting. Kostya's foster dad (😖) gas lighted the F out of Kostya and Dimitri starting when he was 11 years old. I definitely felt icky reading those parts but rest assured, that excuse of a human is beneath the ground since the previous book or books ( can't remember now). There is also TW for physical abuse by Nina's foster dad. (flashbacks)

I'm excited to read the next book which is about Nikolai!
