About the author

Dara was born, raised, and currently lives in southeast USA. She can usually be found at home with a house full of rescue dogs, but when granted the opportunity loves to vacation and travel with her hubby. Dara dreams of living on the beach one day; she might possibly be part mermaid. The jury is still out on that.

After fifteen years of sitting on the board of a pit bull rescue, Dara reluctantly retired due to the toll the heartache and stress were having on her mind and health. Unsure what to do with herself, she began writing as a hobby and quickly fell in love with it. One thing led to another, and Dara took the jump and decided to publish her first novel.

And here we are. Knee deep in pages of paranormal romance fun! Sex, violence and F bombs galore!

It's a 4.5 star but I can't put the ".5" on here!

Keep hands and feet inside the cart at all times and enjoy THE RIDE!!! Boy, what a ride the book was!!!

De and Jussy, were lovers turned enemies turned lovers again! I really enjoyed the bantering back and forth between them. Made me laugh and it reminded me of me and my husband. I loved De and her BADASS self!! The woman/ Furie Demon knows how to take care of herself, that's for sure! She went through HELL (literally) to get where she is now! Jussy was a big ol' teddy bear asshole! Lol! He's big, smart, loveable, sweet, a BADASS too all rolled into one! I'm really glad I seen this author and book pop up on my fyp on tiktok! I got the pleasure of buddy reading this with a friend of mine 😁

The only reason I'm marking it 4.5 stars is because....It jumps to much from first person POV to third person POV. And it will do it in the same paragraph. That really bugged me. But other than that the book was great!

Not knowing what I was getting into it was definitely a ride. I really enjoyed the psychotic relationship between Jus and De. She is a Furie not to be reckoned with that’s for sure! I do have to warn it is violent and gritty with spice. I loved the other characters personalities in the book and how they grew on De. I can’t wait to read book 2 and see how things play out.

Delia, the main character, is such a badass! She doesn't take any nonsense from anyone. But I think the hottest thing about this book is Justus, half angel and half demon. Definitely check your trigger warnings since there's plenty of bloodshed and other heavy topics.
I really enjoyed this story and it left me wanting someone to call me Dove.

Settle in for one crazy wild ride of a story. This is a dark read, and I do enjoy them if they are done like this one. I connected with this story and must say that I feel that it is a good story with characters that I love. Throw in romance as well and I am hooked! Angels and Demons are a favorite of mine. I Love this story and I will be looking for more from this new to me, author.

I was so lucky to get a copy. It was something different in what I read but I loved the spice and loved the demons and plot and the twists to the story. the writer did amazing job and I can't wait to read more book from this author

This is my first time reading from this author and I am glad I have found another one to add to my list. As a starting point, it's a really suspenseful book. There are a number of red flags. I don't have any, but there were moments in this book when I was overcome with emotion.
Well-written and narrated in third-person narrative style. Some of the conversations were hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing! It's impossible to put this book down since it's so fast-paced. I was a fan of the short stories! I really loved this book and can't wait for the next one! 4 out of 5!

This was a fun read. It's been a while since I've read a paranormal romance like this, and I had forgotten how much I usually enjoy them.
While this book did have some plot other than the romance, it wasn't much. Part of me kept expecting more twists to come. I'm hoping the author is just saving it for the next book in the series.
This book had a content warning on the front and is defiantly an 18+ book recommendation, between the sex, drug use, and swear words. The author tells you to buckle up for a wild ride, and she's right. It was wild and a lot of fun!

The one thing that bothered me was the constant change of reference for the characters. Through the book one character is called by four different references but that is probably more of a personal presence.

Trust, lies, deceit, pain & heartache... all the ingredients needed to make an exceptional dark paranormal romance.

Delia is a badass heroine who takes no shit from anyone. Her motto to "ponytail up" and take matters into her own hands is just a precursor to the strength and determination she possess to ensure no one ever fucks with her ever again.

Justus a stubborn antihero who thinks he has it all under control until a blast from his past makes him question everything he thought he knew. Memories of a past he isn't proud of but had no choice in, turns his whole world upside down.

Mix those two with a sadistic Lucifer, drool worthy hell hounds, a manically obsessed stalker on heels and you have a book you never knew you needed!!

Get ready for the dark side in ways you have never experienced before!! Definite must read!! Could not put it down!!!

Hell's Furie by Dara Kenny is a dark paranormal romance. This is the first book in the Hell's Reject series.

This is Dara's debut novel and she knocked it out of the park. This is the first book I read that was told as a third person narrative and it took me a few chapters to get into the book while I got use to this style. But once I did, I couldn't help but binge the book.

I loved the banter between Delia and Justus. Their relationship is messy, but you couldn't help but root for them.

I can't wait for the next book Hell's Hound to be released Spring 2022.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, paranormal romances, or fantasy romances.
