4.5 Stars for Candy (audiobook) by Torrance Sené read by Macy Moore and Aaron Sin.

Miles accidentally runs into his favorite cam girl in real life. Come to find out they actually went to high school together, a couple of years apart and many years ago. Candy is shocked that someone in town knows about her secret side hustle but she really likes Miles. So they try and move their online life together into the real world.

A small town, curvy baker with a secret cam life business falls for her biggest online fan IRL when he returns to their mutual hometown to help his sister with her new baby. Body positive and sex positive, this was SUPER steamy with lots of dom/sub role playing, butt action and more. Definitely more spicy than some will be comfortable with but I found it a quick entertaining read and good on audio narrated by Macy Moore and Aaron Sin.

Small town, secret crush, second chance with a plus size cam girl 🙌🏾 Miles being a service top (baby switch) was a nice addition. I really appreciated that Candace didn't walk all over him and actually checked in, but I loved it when he put his foot down 🤤 Anywho I totally was here for the conversation of feeling stuck but comfortable so you don't do anything about it. There was a good amount of tension and space to talk through both their needs. More of these please 👏🏾

I liked this novella but I was a little jarred how Candy pushed for Miles to go on cam with her without really having a discussion about it. I would have liked more push back from Miles about his boundaries and what he is comfortable doing bc it didn't seem like he enthusiastically consented to going on cam. AND like there is a lot of paperwork you have to fill out and have approved before any of these sites will allow you to be a participant - phot ID, release forms, etc lol like it is not as simple as pulling your bf onto screen to fuck you. I will say, I like that Miles was supportive of Candace continuing her camming once they became a couple. Too few stories with sex workers have the sex worker continuing their chosen career post-relationship - which is weird. Sex workers are in relationships and have families and what not. lol this is a rant for another time.

I liked reading a book where the girl is the dominant partner, but I still didn't enjoy the BDSM and rules aspect of it. I prefer it when the dominance is natural and there are no strict roles. I'm not sure how to best explain it.
I dislike 'yes, ma'm' just as much as I dislike 'yes, sir', and I'm not sure I like the mommy kink. But it was nice reading about something different.
I liked how their secret identities were handled; I dislike it when of of them is keeping a secret and making a huge deal out of something that could've been easily solved. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here.
I also prefer 1st person POV, so I'm not sure if I'll read this author's other books, but I liked this one. I listened to the audiobook, and that was why I managed to read it. There's just something about 3rd person POV that doesn't work for me. Except in historical romances. And not always.

If you like down and dirty, this one's for you! I loved it. I felt like I was in Candance/Candy's shoes. I was so realistic and hot! I liked Miles. I liked his gentle ways, how he listened, how he wanted to help others. I liked the chemistry between Candance and Miles. They were so good together. I also loved that neither would let the other hide their secrets. Each called the other out when something needed to be talked about and solved. I liked their solution.

I look forward to more from this author.

This book has a female dom who is plus sized at the center. The character engages in wonderful displays of body positivity, including being a cam girl. She's got wonderful energy! The work is well written with the main characters voice distinct and honest. I am a fan of plus size, body positive work in erotica and romance in general, and this one knocks it out of the park. There are traditional power plays in this work for the female domination fan to enjoy like: ma'am, mistress, mommy - all the greatest hits beloved by readers of this erotic sub-genre. Enjoy!

This book was hot and I loved the entire thing. Candace is a fat woman with a carefree demeanor who loves her body and for fun works as a cam girl. Miles is a geeky guy with a crush from her highschool years who discovers her online camming. These two don't seem like the perfect match, but they definitely are. And man, the shit that goes down between them is hot. I can not recommend this book enough.

This was a very enjoyable light book, the heat was just right. I loved the balance between erotic scenes and the build of the romance. The fact that the main tension came from each characters emotional journeys rather than a villain made it all the more compelling. The female main character (Candy) was really easy to route for, I loved how body and sex positive she was and the male lead was well written too and three dimensional.
I definitely want to read more from this writer.

I think Sené convince me of their fit. This is really short so it takes great skill to establish these characters, establish their relationship inside and outside of the romantic relationship, and of course to have scenes that move the story along. I'm sold!

Candy was wonderful. It was very sweet throughout the entire novel. Candace and Miles have great chemistry. I thought he'd recognize her instantly, but either way, it was great to see the camming be a part of the story, not the entire focus, or the big reveal. The author normalized it and makes you think, "Yeah, that actually sounds way better than MY job. Why WOULDN'T you cam?"

Oh yeah, it was pretty hot, too. 😉

While not my thing, this was a fun FemDomme story. It focused on the spice more than the plot.
