Reviving Trish (Project DEEP Book 2)
By Becca Jameson
5 Stars

Reviving Trish, the second book in the Project DEEP Series from author Becca Jameson, is even better than book 1!! Even though I absolutely loved the first book, it was a bit more sci-fi than I was expecting. Mind you I am a total nerd with the sci-fi stuff (I can pretty much recite all of the Star Trek movies and I’m talking the ORIGINAL ones) so even though for me it was a bit off from my norm I still thought it was great. So, I was expecting some of the same in book 2 but Becca Jameson gives MORE! So so much more!! And GAH!! I freakin’ LOVED it!!

This book is about Trish & Tushar. Both of these dedicated doctors worked so hard on finding a cure before being cryonically frozen that their life and marriage was put on the back burner. Now that they have both been reanimated, they struggle to figure out what is next for them in this new life and with their marriage. Can adapting to all the new changes rekindle the love they once shared or will it just pull them further apart?

In this book, Becca Jameson focuses more on the changes and wonders this couple must adjust to now that they have been brought back. Becca once again pulls the reader in with the fabulous backstory and has you pulling for these two characters to re-connect. As with book one, the romance, suspense and mystery are still alive and present. Becca Jameson delivers ANOTHER fantastic read. Even if you think this is NOT your type of ‘normal’ read. It needs to be added to your summer reading!! You WON’T be disappointed!!

Totally different, an OUTSIDE-of-the-BOX sci-fi ROMANCE about an exceptional steamy second chance for LOVE!
Being human, I will admit to having preconceived expectations for Book 2 of author Becca Jameson’s sci-fi romance, “REVIVING TRISH”. The first book in the series “Reviving Emily” told an incredibly detailed and emotional story packed full of all the futuristic “what if’s . . .” any sci-fi lover looks for in a novel. Then Jameson added some alpha laden romance to the mix and my mind, my imagination and my lady bits all began to jive in syncopation! I absolutely loved Book 1, “Reviving Emily”, and spent months imagining what types of storylines, Jameson might have used. With baited-breath I opened the ARC eBook entitled “REVIVING TRISH.” I found that Book 2 was above and beyond my wildest imaginings! Who knew the process of recapturing love would be so HOT! I want to say soooo much, yet do not want to spoil the adventure and suspense! What I can tell you beyond the blurb is that author Becca Jameson’s smooth, intelligent writing will grab the reader’s imagination from page one, keep that reader on the edge of his/her seat and will engage every emotion as this outstanding romance unfolds into the most astonishing relationship, ever. If you have not read “REVIVING Emily,” I strongly suggest you read it first, there are spoilers in Book 2. However, if you are not a series fan, then pick up your copy of “REVIVING TRISH” today! It is an OUTSTANDING 5-star romance and HIGHLY recommended. You will be so glad you did! Happy pages! 😉

Even prior to them being put in cryonic hibernation, Trish and Tushar had drifted apart. The urgency to find cures for deadly diseases led to long working hours and putting their personal lives on hold. Now that they've both been reanimated, they both wonder where their marriage stands. They must navigate a world that has passed them by both personally and professionally. In addition, they must reacquaint themselves with one another and decide if their marriage is worth fighting for all the while hiding out for their safety because of information leaks at them compound and threats from those who would cause them harm. When a danger arises, they run for their lives and it almost turns deadly. Both Trish and Tushar realize that returning to the compound is important. They need to help their son, they need to feel safe, they need to get their lives back and fully embrace their rekindled love.

Becca Jameson gives us another view of the "brave new world" that comes with the possibilities of cryonics. She defines her characters frustrations, emotions and actions with finely crafted thoughts and ideas. There is a great mix of mystery, romance and peril in this evenly paced story. This love story is timeless. All too often couples grow apart without realizing it and often never get a second chance to rekindle their love.

Reviving Trish Project DEEP Book 2
by Becca Jameson
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is another satisfying series to read Reviving Trish is Fantastic story. Reviving Trish is full of intrigue and surprising developments. It’s definitely the one of best addition to this series it's book 2 and not just because we have fabulous descriptions of mountains. 🙂 Reviving Trish starts where book 1 Reviving Emily left off, We got to know a bit more about Ryan parents in the second book with Trish's husband and her undertaking a very dangerous journey to keep them safe. I had thought that most of the book was going to deal with that but in truth, that is only one part of the overall plot. As Trish journeys with her husband, she wants to get answers to some previous mysteries but new questions emerge: are her accomplishments going to fit her new role after being in a cryogenic frozen for 10 years it been a long time for her. One of the most satisfying parts of the story has been Trish’s character growth. Overall, a great story for the story. If you read the first book and absolutely enjoy I completely recommend you give the second book a chance. It’s rare when a series get better as it continues but this is definitely the case here. You won’t regret it!

After reading “Reviving Emily” I couldn’t wait to read the next book “Reviving Trish.” This book is such a great sci-fi romance compromise. You get this whole scientific aspect but also the romance between Tushar and Trish. Where we learn more about Ryan’s parents, we first meet Ryan in the first book “Reviving Emily.” For this books goes off of where book one ends. After reviving Emily, ten years after an accident in the lab that the scientists got diagnosed with the AP12 and been cryonically preserved, the next scientist was Tushar to be revived and given the cure then Trish. What I liked the most that even though they are married they need to find the love for each other. For they have been preserved for 10 years and before that working nonstop to find the cure for the AP12. When Trish said she feels like her life is a blender, I was drawn into there experiences, especially with how each character is feeling. I would definitely recommend this series.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.

I am so glad this was a short novella of filler because this couple was not meant to be IMO.

Tushar was a solid 4/5 hero. His commitment was commendable, however it lead to him being a pushover and pretty much the only one apologizing ever.

Trish was a 2/5 at her best. She’s selfish and nasty. She has an actual and understandable mental/emotional issue in her depression, but claims since she acknowledges it, it’s not really depression. Yes it is honey. All she cares about is being bitter and angry. She obviously has regrets to how she neglected her son, but none for how her marriage has suffered also. She refuses to make the best of any situation and blames everyone else for keeping secrets but takes no responsibility for being so closed off, no one can even talk to her. She does the bare minimum to recuperate even though here is dangerous elements threatening then whines when she’s not adequately prepared to escape the danger.

This couple has zero heart to hearts and only hot aggressive sex fixes them. Not at all impressed.

I just loved how this book was about Ryan's parents and it can be read as a stand alone but reading book 1 gives you are more solid foundation that this series build upon. Tushar was revived first so he has had a chance to get use to what happened to them however Trish has only been awake for a couple of weeks and is still trying to process her son is grown up, her skills are now so far behind the times she feels hopeless and her feeling of being lost is exasperated by being shuffled off into hiding with a husband she isn't sure she really knows anymore. The fact that Trish acts like a child so much is frustrating but understandable how would you feel being a grown adult and awake 10 years later and everything has changed and you are no longer one of the top in your industry! Emotions run high and low in this read as well as the feeling of not knowing who to trust or if Trish and Tusha can find the spark they once had and find a focus to move forward wit

Suspenseful romantic terrifying ..Hard to put down!!
Ryan has been working for years to find a cure for the scientists
who after an accident in the lab succumbed to the deadly AP12, which Ryan's parents are a part of. They all were cryonically preserved. After the team revived Emily, they revived Ryan’s Father, now they are reviving his mother, and there have been leaks and threats toward the team and the revived. Ryan’s parents Trish and his father Tushar have grown apart while they were working on the cure, it’s been ten years, but to them yesterday, they are taken to a hideout to recover and Trish is not happy leaving her son Ryan, which complicates the reunion between Tushar and Trish. I loved this story, very real characters, super romantic, suspenseful and terrifying real. I loved this....
I was given an ARC copy of this story and I Always review the books I read.

Loved this book! Where book 1 in the series was slow to get going, this one jumped right in from the beginning and did not slow down. I was hooked! Trish and her husband Tushar have been revived after spending 10 years frozen. While the team is being revived, there are those who want to harm them. Hey, what they went through is not natural after all. Trish and Tushar must try to find a way to reconnect while dealing with the crazy hunting them down. I loved seeing Trish work through her depression and Tushar being determined to not lose his wife.
This books takes a little bit of a different twist than I was really expecting and that made it that much better.

This was a great second book in this series. Trish was such a great character as she had been revived after ten years in a cryo state. She had to hide with her husband Tushar who was brought back before her as people didn't react well to them being brought back. Her emotions at not being given a say in going into hiding were so well done. Anger and frustration and sadness, let alone trying to reconnect her feelings with Tushar who she had grown apart from before they had to be put in this state. Lots of emotions to be dealt with along with some action and some sexy time made the pages turn. I loved this book and am looking forward to the next book! I am voluntarily reviewing an arc I received.

Awakened only three weeks ago, Trish finds herself in a cabin in the middle of nowhere Montana. Away from her son and all things familiar. Well everything except her husband Tushar, and she's not sure how she feels about him.

Tushar had brought this change on them by taking full responsibility for the scientists that had been cryogenically frozen ten years prior. That declaration brought out even more protestors and threats to not only his life but his wife's as well.

Trish has so much to come to terms with, not the least of which is her feelings toward Tushar. She loved him once, does she still?

There is so much emotion. Doubt, desire, angst, and fear all compound into a spellbinding tale.

I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A really good intense romance. 💕💖💕

Trish and her husband Tushar are scientists involved in a research program that ultimately would have killed them if they hadn't been cryogenically preserved until the cure for their infection was discovered. That's just the basics to their story. Add in terrorists and assorted nut jobs who want to use their knowledge and/or kill them for it and trying to rekindle their marriage in the process and you've got a great book. 💞💓💞

This was a great second book in the series. Trish and Tushar are married and were scientists working in the original lab looking for a cure. They are revived after being in the Cryostat for 10 years. They're having problems rekindling their marriage that is complicated more by Tushar's need to protect her and Trish's need to reconnect with her son. I really enjoyed this book it was well written and the characters were well developed. A very enjoyable sci-fi romance that kept my interest from beginning to end.

Book 2 in this series & while it is completely standalone, you will benefit if you have read Book 1. This is a shorter, quicker read to allow you to get through it in just a few hours. I generally really enjoy this author's work but I just couldn't get into this one. Largely due to Trish's character. I just didn't like her. For heaven's sake - she's supposed to be a scientist but is so far inside her own head she can't see the reality of what's going on around her?! I liked Tushar but constantly wondered why he stuck with her. Not for me.

I never really enjoy novellas since there always seems to be something missing and/or a bit unnecessary about them. That said this was a quite enjoyable quick read. If you are already a fan of Becca Jameson then you will enjoy this story. If you are new to her, then I urge you to start at the first book in this series, or one of her other series to get a feel for her writing style. She has many to choose from and they are all great!

Tushar was the second person in the team to be revived from cryo and his wife is the third. For their safety they had been sent to a ranch but his wife didn't really like that. He didn't think they were as close as they were at one time as now there was no distractions to focus on. Trish hated that they were shipped off to a ranch away from her son after he'd been without them for ten years. AS they try to reconnect things get heated the story keeps you wondering who is out there.

Futuristic genius! Terrific second book in the series about futuristic viruses and cryogenics. This one has Trish and Tushar regenerated and reunited but all is not well with these two. Years of working on a cure and then years apart in a frozen condition takes a toll but Tushar is determined to keep Trish safe. Great plot that’s full of suspense, adventure and romance. Worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Trish & Tushar

Trish and Tushar are the parents of the MC from the first book. This book really examines what it's like to step back into your old life after being gone. Trish really struggles and the tension between them really highlights what happens when you neglect your relationship. Will they find their way back to each other before unknown enemies get them. You'll want to read and root for them.

Tushar and Trish have been reanimated after being in cryostasis for ten years. Trish wants to reconnect with her son. Tushar wants to keep them safe by going into the mountains. Will the couple be able to rekindle the flame after so long? An interesting and fresh take on scifi romance.
