I couldn’t tell what they were doing, but all of them looked like they were worried about something.

Luna was sent to school, just like any normal day while bringing Mr. Cuddles with her like she always did.

Little did she know, things were about to take a turn in the wrong direction.

Suddenly, their principal announced that school was canceled and they were asked to evacuate the school premises.

But little Luna wouldn't leave school without her mom and Mr. Cuddles.

How will she survive being all alone?

Will she know the way out?

A short story told from the POV of the little girl from the mall community in The First 30 Days. It starts at the very beginning of the apocalypse when a lot of people are getting “a very bad strain of the flu”. Luna, the MC, goes to school as always, but things start to go downhill and Luna is forced to survive.

I liked that it was told from the little girl’s perspective, and that the author is delving deeper into this world and the various stories. I really felt like this was told from a little kids POV. It was a well written story and a good read for zombie/apocalypse fans and I am excited to see what’s next in this story.

The story itself I felt was very good and deserved 5 stars. I would call this a short story though, not a novella

Much like the main story, this needed an edit but not as desperately. It would mainly be for some word issues like further/farther and to catch that the day count at the beginning of the chapters was messed up for a while. That was really the only writing-related issue this had.

However, despite it being a pretty solid side story, it ended a lot sooner than I expected because so much of the ebook was previews for other books. The short story actually ended at the 66% mark or pg 48 of 71. Factoring in the front material, only 60% of the pages were the actual story you pay for. Might be something to consider, especially those tight on cash.

As a short story it was fine, but I was not expecting it to only be 47 pages. Plus since it's supposed to be book 2, why would you have previews for book 1 after the story? I liked the story, but I really feel like it should have been much longer and feel a little deceived.

Enjoyed the first book much more, was disappointed with the length of this novella, it felt like a long short story. That's why only three stars. The story itself was a good read.

This is a great story that explains a lot about the character Lina. Very good read.

Very brief read. Would have loved to see a little more of Luna's perspective of the climax of The First 30 Days #1.

I know it was supposed to be a novella....

But only six days with Luna?
For the price I was disappointed. I'm sorry. But honestly. Plus most of Tim her thought patterns were way off for kid. Idk. Just hoped for something different I guess.

Story was good, but at 47 pages long, it should have been marketed as a short story, not part 2 of the series.
