The ante as been upped! What is James going to do? His love, his obsession, Dalia, has been kidnapped by her past. Luckily, James is a badass tactical special ops guy and will do anything to find his woman. While he's out searching for her, some pretty horrible things are happening to poor Dalia.

Be forewarned! This book contains a LOT of sexual abuse, attempted rape, and physical abuse. It is not fun ladies and gentleman. I wish that James got to her earlier because the things that I was subjected to as a reader was rough! If you're a fan of DARK romance, this is nothing new for you. Stalking romances? I eat those up! Super dark rapey romances I need to read in stride.

That ending surprise. Oh holy baby Jesus. I didn't see that coming and I don't know why. I have been wondering about this throughout the series and am completely curious but apparently I have to wait for the next book.

Lastly, WHY DID I START THIS SERIES WHEN THE LAST BOOK HASN'T BEEN RELEASED YET??? I never do that! Now I have to wait which makes me a sad sad girl.

This is book 3 in a continuing series, so please read "Following Her" and "Claiming Her" first. These stories end on cliffhangers so be prepared. Dalia thought she had gotten away from danger but she is wrong. Can James figure out her secrets and save her in time? There's a lot going on here, new characters, mysteries, deadly situations, sadistic bad guys, a few secrets revealed and a race against the clock for our anti-hero to save the day. There are some editing issues and the story could use more detail when transitioning from one scene/location to the next. "Saving Her" is a dramatic page-turner. Looking forward to the next/last book!

So, before I dive into my review I have to say that the first two books of this series need to be read before diving into this one - this is not a standalone romance at all. There are also potential triggers in this one (kidnapping, physical assault), so if you are a sensitive reader please tread carefully with this one.

I adore a good stalker romance and Natalie Knight is definitely creating a fantastic one with this series. She continues to impress me with her talent of creating a storyline that keeps ALL my attention with characters that stick with me long after I finish. She cranked up the suspense in this third installment to 100% and I couldn’t put this one down. I loved how I got a glimpse of Dahlia’s past, when Xavier came out of hiding in the shadows and plowed back into her life. This guy is dark (and not in a good way) - Natalie wrote a special type of crazy when creating this guy that made my skin crawl, thankfully James isn’t afraid of the dark. All he cares about is getting his Dahlia back. But the cliffhanger about killed me, I am dying to see what Natalie cooks up for these two in the next one.

The song "Holding Out for a Hero" kept bouncing around in my head as I read this part of the story. After the first two parts of this story, I had high expectations coming into part three. OMG cubed! This story blew past all my expectations and took me places I have never been. Natalie Knight has the most deliciously twisted imagination (in a good way :) ).

Total page turner. Could not put it down. James accomplished his mission but Dalia is not out of the woods yet. There is a part 4 coming.

Mixed feelings - This is an author I haven’t read much from. This is not a stand alone book, you need to read the books in order and this is the 3td book in the Her series. This story continues on about Dalia and James. Dalia has finally told the secret Dalia’s ex-boyfriend Scott was using against her. Xavier, Dalia’s ex is a has a scene in this book that was hard to stomach. He’s basically a psychopath and and wants revenge so loans out his woman as a distraction during a business deal. Then decides he also wants her and nearly kills her. The scene made me sick - so be warned if you have triggers as it’s graphic. I don’t even know how I feel about James - but he’s supposed to be her best ideal at a man to walk beside her and he’s also an assassin?

We all need a James in our lives.

As always I find James totally magnetic and irresistible. The whole read was just nonstop tension, anxiety and hope. Hope that James would get to her before too much damage was done. Anxiety that he would be too late.
His behaviour regarding Dalia isn't 'acceptable' by the current rules of society but that doesn't make it wrong. When Dalia's past catches up with her in person James will do anything to get her back. Her only thought is to live thru it so she can save her beloved Brandon.

The story continues for Dalia and James. Chapter one is a repeat of the ending from last book, so no issues starting with chapter two again. This time the stakes are higher and the danger is closer. We learn the secret Dalia’s ex-boyfriend Scott was lording over her head and the repercussions are near deadly.

I’m finding James to be a contradiction on so many levels. He’s supposed to be a patient, secret-ops type assassin yet he continually gets caught in compromising positions while stalking Dalia. And a few time his dialogue reminded me of a puffed out superhero with his hands on his hips, I mean it was so laughable!!

Xavier, Dalia’s ex is a serious piece of work. He’s psychotic and bent on revenge so he has no qualms with loaning out ‘his girl’ as a distraction during a business deal. Then he decides it’s his turn and damn near kills the girl for his pleasure. Be warned it gets graphic and dark.

There’s only one more book in this serial story, so I’m gonna stick around and finish it out because I NEED to know how things end. I loathe unfinished stories or series.

Oh wow this book was so good!! Natalie really takes dark romance to a new level and I enjoy every minute of reading it! This book picks up where book two left off - with Dalia kidnapped. While James may be a bad guy and a stalker, he’s not nearly as bad as the man that kidnaps her! James is a bad that you can love and feel the devotion he has for Dalia!! This book was an intense ride and it’s not over yet!! I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this story! Definitely check out this series right away!!

This book picks up exactly where book 2 ended. Our heroine has been kidnapped but the hero doesn’t know yet.

Saving Her hits the ground running around barely let’s up. Dalia is in a dire situation with captors that want to use and hurt her. James is the only one with the skills to find his missing girl.

This book is a page turner!

Wow, fantastic instalment in this series, a little darker than previous books, so you need to be aware of possible triggers prior to diving in, but it really kept me on the edge of my seat reading this book. It left off at previous books cliff hanger and dived right in to the darker aspects of the storyline from Dalia's perspective as James starts his hunt for her.
I can't wait for the next book.

So Dalia and James are together even though she is reluctant because of her past trauma; James is nearly a perfect bf... besides the panty stealing and the wall of pictures he has of her... but whatever lol
A person from Dalia's past shows up and plans to torture her like he did before and ofc James has to make him pay. Nothing and no one will keep him from his girl and he will do ANYTHING to keep her and make sure she's happy.

Just when James thought he had Dahlia a terrible person from Dahlia's past comes back, luckily James isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty if it means getting Dahlia back safe & sound. This was one was the craziest one in the series as there was so much suspense and danger in the air and I don't know who will come out on top...but I hope James will prevail. I can't wait for the next book.

A short read with an interesting premise, this book continues the story started in the previous two books the characters are fascinating - him more than her given his actions. It was interesting to read as the story played out.
