Great characters and story!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💜💚
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📔📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌍
Character development: 😊😘😟🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Quinn - she is a meteorologist at a local news station in Florida. She works in the same building that produces the Bachelor Beast reality show. The show is taking a different direction since the first two bachelors found their mates outside the female contestants. This time there were five beasts who are trying to find their mates. Quinns friend and makeup artist wanted Quinn to go and get a look at the 5 Atlan warriors. Quinn already knew she was attracted to the scarred one called Bahre.

The Hero: Bahre - he is an Atlan warrior who was part of the IC (intelligence) and worked for Doctor Hellion. The doctor gave Bahre enhancements that made him one of the most dangerous beasts in the universe. He and his team fought the hive and other enemies and did a good job. He had a lot of enemies including a group called Cerberus.

The Story: Quinn had a stalker, an ex-boyfriend who was an actor and liked her fear. He had followed her when she moved to Florida, and she had taken out a restraining order on him. Though after Bahre interrupted her newscast to claim that Quinn was his mate, it got broadcast everywhere and resulted in Quinn getting kidnapped by Bahre’s enemies. Bahre contacts Dr. Hellion and his team to help him rescue Quinn.

I really liked the storyline about Bahre and his team. His past with Dr. Hellion who isn’t a good guy. There was a lot of action in this one and it was interesting from the start. I liked the characters, and the world building was good. This was the best story in the series so far.

This audiobook was done in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Tor Thom and Mia Sloane. Tor Thom is a terrific narrator and I really like his super deep voice. It works perfectly for the eight-foot-tall beasts in this series. Mia Sloane has a very pleasant voice and is also a very good narrator.

3.5 Stars for Bahre :)

“My beast has chosen you over every other female we have ever encountered.

Alien warlord, Bahre, had zero hope of finding his mate on earth. He’s a scarred warrior who has done things and seen things most wouldn’t be able to grasp. If there was a woman out there for him, she’d have to be one of a kind to understand him.

Quinn is finally content. She had to move half way across the country but she’s working at a small news station doing a job she loves and although her nights are lonely, her days are full. After being burned twice over by the men in her life, she’s sworn off any type of relationship.

When her office building is shared with the reality TV show to match the Atlan warlords with brides, she’s intrigued by Bahre but firmly in the don’t believe in fairy tales any more camp, Quinn steers clear.

Atlans can tell instantly, upon seeing or smelling their mates. But Bahre’s cyborg enhancements make him even more sensitive and when he catches Quinn’s scent, there’s no stopping him from find her, claiming her and proving he’s her perfect fit.

Memorable Moments:
I loved Bahre. He was so self-conscious of his scars and didn’t see them as badges of honor. He felt like they made him less of a man and it was heartbreaking. But when he sees Quinn, he doesn’t let that stop him from grabbing hold of her and never letting go.

Quinn introducing him to the concept of dating was hilarious! Atlans see/smell and claim. There isn’t an in between so Bahre was definitely thrown for a loop with that idea and he handled it perfectly.

This is the first Atlan book I’ve read and it’s definitely interesting! These guys don’t mess around and when their mate it found, there really isn’t anything that will stop them from caring for, protecting and loving their women.

Bahre pretty much does and says all the right things and shows Quinn that he is 100% devoted to her. He was so sweet!

… I was a male of honor. Worthy. A strong protector. I would win her heart with my devotion and strength, not my pretty looks.

Would I recommend? This is a definitely hit for the sci-fi, alien romance junkies out there. Although part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone. Be warned! It will pique your interest for the other couples and hook you into wanting to know more about the remaining Atlans!

I love the idea of a dating show for these sexy Antlan Warriors, too bad the human producers just don’t quite understand how the Atlan mating bond works!

When Quinn started her day, she certainly never expected to end it mated to an Atlan. Especially not the one she’s been privately swooning over!

Atlan Warrior Buhre is a typical Atlan who’s found his mate—protective, loving, and deadly if someone or something gets in the way.

And that’s proven when Quinn is abducted and only her mate can save her.

I love this series and cannot wait for more! ~Missy, 4 stars

This was book 3 in the "Interstellar Brides® Program: The Beasts" The humans are determined to get a Bachelor and the Beast show on air, but they have lost Warlord Wulf and Warlord Braun to their mates before the show even started, and it wasn't to any of the contestants either. This time there is a contingent of Atlan warlords, they are isolated to a floor in the same building they will film and no access to the contestants. Bahre is an assassin for the Intelligence Core he is sent to find a mate. Bahre scents his mate in the stairwell and tracks her down in front of a green screen where she is doing the weather he kneels before her on live television and says he was hers. Quinn has sworn off men after her last relationship ended with a restraining order, her career in tatters and her ex following her to Florida to stalk her. She is scared and doesn't trust easily but there is something about Bahre. This was a pretty good read that I loved. When Quinn disappears he will do anything to get her back. This was a good book that I listened to on audio this is my favorite so far in this series. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.

This book is such lighthearted fun. It plays with the trope of dating shows and those on-air proposals that pop up on social media that we all love watching. In this case, the proposal involves weatherperson Quinn, who turns out to be the mate of the alien Atlan Bahre. Once he scents her from where he and other potential Beast bachelors are set up for their TV show a couple of floors below her news studio, he claims her as his mate—on air. That makes lots of people watching happy, but it also alerts enemies of both Quinn and Bahre….

I really enjoyed both leads in this book, and how refreshing it was to have a heroine who really didn’t want to leave Earth! Bahre is the Atlan equivalent of special ops, and his enhancements explain how he stands out from the other Atlans sent to be contestants on this “Bachelor” type of show in his ability to find his mate so quickly.

There’s still a bit of convenience in that all of these mates happen to work around this show’s filming location, and I loved that Goodwin addressed how frustrated TV producers would be that this Bachelor-contest concept isn’t working well at all with aliens who instantly recognize their fated mates. I also liked that a potential threat to Quinn remained just that, avoiding the dread 11th-hour appearance just to create artificial tension.

But it’s the gentle joy that imbues this series that is a hallmark for Goodwin. Previous Bride series have been suspenseful, or action-filled, or dark. But this series is having such fun with the TV show concepts it plays with—in this case, the on-air proposal—and that lack of a grim threat made me turn the pages with delight.

I have been down with the Interstellar Brides program since book 1 and these books have become addictive!

This is Atlan Warlord Bahre's story. Once again, the humans are determined to get a Bachelor and the Beast show on air…but they have lost Warlord Wulf and Warlord Braun to their mates before the show even started, and it wasn't to any of the contestants either. This time there is a contingent of Atlan warlords, they are isolated to a floor in the same building they will film and no access to the contestants.

Tsk, Tsk silly humans. What are you going to do when the Warlord Bahre scents his mate in the stairwell…and tracks her down in front of a green screen where she appears to be doing a weather segment? Another one great Atlan falls to his knees for his mate…. Literally, as he makes his grand gesture of devotion on live tv. SWOON!

Quinn has sworn off men after her last relationship ended with a restraining order, her career in tatters and her ex following her to Florida to stalk her. She is scared and doesn't trust easily but there is something sincere about this scarred and large alien with nothing but adoration in his eyes.

Bahre was fantastic! I just adored him. Quinn was strong, but willing to let Bahre in and trust her gut and heart. Now, mind you this one had some pretty hairy twists and turns to the story but as always there is a claiming, cuffs, and a HEA. SWOON again.

If you are looking for an entertaining, easy to read, suspenseful page turner of a book with a hot alien devoted to his mate and a strong female, who isn't wishy washy... this book is for you. I think Bahre and Wulf are tied for my favorite warlords now. I totally recommend all the interstellar bride books and especially Beauty and the Beast! Now can Tane have his story?

The next Altan Warlord is up and (as you might expect) things don't go as the human producers of the dating reality show expect when one of their potential bachelors finds his special someone and pledges himself to her during her newscast. What can you say? A Warlord knows when he's found the one and Bahre wasn't about to let Quinn slip through his fingers.

On the downside, they're still kind of dealing with the fallout from what happened with Braun and Angela which means Bahre has to be extra super careful with his actions. After all, nobody wants to cause another incident like the last one and potentially lose their shot at finding mates on earth.

On the plus side, Quinn is VERY into Bahre. She doesn't mind his scars or his size and she's never felt safer than when the big Warlord is close by. Considering she's dealt with (and sort of still is dealing with) a human stalker, having someone completely dedicated to making sure she's safe isn't off-putting in the least.

One little case of abduction, a not-so little Warlord who isn't about to let his special someone be put in danger (until, you know, she insists), a whole lot of interstellar politicking, and a couple who figure things out quickly and get down to business. Boom!

It has been quite a while since I enjoyed reading such a wonderful well-written, Sci-Fi alien romance & it certainly kept my attention until the end. There are some character crossovers from previous books but this book can definitely be read as a standalone. The plot has splendid world building & is quite enthralling with the unexpected, suspenseful situations that are well-described. The characters (a human female weatherwoman/meteorologist, Quinn) & (a scarred Atlan Warlord, Bahre) are interesting individuals with strong-willed personalities. In particular, I was quite impressed at how the characters continued to develop throughout the storyline to become a well-adjusted loving couple.
There is: a news station (9 News), a T.V. show (Bachelor Beast), a domineering warlord determined to claim his mate (Bahre), a woman sworn off men (Quinn) but is quite surprised by the warlords determination, a deadly enemy (Cerberus), a coalition, friendship, comradery, mates, twists & turns, adventure, action, intrigue, suspense, drama, humour, danger, threats, enemies, abduction, conflict, violence, death, devious intentions, determination, manipulations, compromises, steamy scenes, contentment, love & a well-deserved happy conclusion.

This is book 3 in the series. There’s a few references to books 1 & 2, and while I’d recommend listening in order - these stand pretty well on their own.

This might be my favorite of the series - I think because Quinn & Bahre already know about the concepts of each other’s societies and because this one had a little bit of a romantic suspense plot as well.

Quinn has experienced an abusive/stalker ex in the past and Bahre works to show her the difference between devoted and obsessed. I liked their banter and when he comes to rescue her from alien kidnappers.

These have all been sexy & easy listens.

Narration:
Tor Thom & Mia Sloane do a wonderful job. They’re a great fit with each other and the characters.

DNF. This got really boring really fast. The first 2 books felt more engaging, but this is instalust. That doesn’t really allow for a relationship to grow (in these books, at least), which is the whole point of romance.

The steamy scenes aren’t even that hot. The romance is just a background part of a story about…. Bad aliens? Who want revenge? Or something?

I’m not bothering to finish the book

Out of touch

Why make the money and the material things part of the story? This was bad. All the other books in this universe of mated-aliens had a story... This though seems forced and shallow. I don't recommend this series, they're lame and superficial. 👎

The Interstellar Brides series takes place at a time where aliens are real and there are several different planets and species. There is a galactic enemy known as the hive, which is a technological species that invades planets and either kills its inhabitants or transforms their captives into one of them. A coalition was formed between the planets who are at war with the hive. Each member of the coalition is required to supply soldiers and brides to the cause. Soldiers to fight the hive, and brides to repopulate the diminished that have fallen victim to the war. Earth has become a member of the coalition. The Colony Series takes place alongside the interstellar bride series, but focuses solely on the residents of the Colony. The colony houses veterans of war, tainted with Hive technology. They cannot or will not return to their home worlds because of their cyborg hive tech, so they live the remainder of their lives on the colony. Even though brides have been sent to the colony through the interstellar testing system, it hasn’t been enough. Especially for the Atlans and their temperamental beasts. That’s where this spinoff comes in. Through hard work and PR, the human females of the colony have inspired a network to create a reality show for Atlan aliens. Similar to the Bachelor, women are narrowed down until one remains, and the beast offers his cuffs to the winner (opposed to the final rose and a proposal). Unfortunately, anyone who knows how Atlans work, would know that this setup is doomed to fail. Atlans are humanoid. They are massive in size (the largest of the alien species), and they have a split personality of sorts that is referred to as their “beast.” Their beast lives inside them, very much with its own personality, and only comes out during danger or mating fever. When the beast comes out to play, they grow bigger - with elongated fangs, sharp facial features and bulging muscles - and their main personality takes a backseat behind the scenes. Their beast won’t accept just any mate. They are very particular about who they consider “mine.” Did I mention that the Atlans are my favorite of the alien species? 🫶🏻

Written in first person, Beauty and the Beast is book 3 in this series and follows the human bride Quinn McCaffrey and her Atlan cyborg Warlord Bahre. We first met Bahre in book 21 of the interstellar bride series “Surprise Mates.” Bahre was Dr. Hellion’s personal security for the I.C. He was selected as part of a group of Atlans for the Bachelor Bride series to lay low. Unfortunately, the 24 selected females scents didn’t appeal to any of the 5 beasts, so the show was stalled yet again. What did appeal to Bahre however, was the scent of a meteorologist who worked for the news station two floors up. Quinn moved to Florida to escape a stalker who, of course, followed her. After a public declaration on set where Bahre claimed Quinn to be his mate, she was marked as a target for all his enemies. Quinn was kidnapped by one of those said enemies with the intent to sell to Cerberus. Of course, Bahre rescued her, with the help of Hellion, Stix & Blade (from book 13 of IB), Tane, Quinn (the hunter from book 17 of IB) and a new hunter we’ve yet to know. Together they not only kill who abducted Quinn, but Cerberus himself. Bahre quit the IC and transferred to the IB in Florida, a new resident of Earth to be with Quinn, where his wealth made him a billionaire, and they presumably lived happily ever after.

There have been way too many romance novels I’ve read that had me frustrated and yelling “Jesus Christ, when are they gonna fuck?! Get to the good shit already!” When we’re 50% in, and the main characters have barely kissed each other, leaves readers like me aggravated. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a well written buildup to sex, but most are anticlimactic. This is NOT one of those books. While Grace Goodwin has added more adventures as the series progressed, it is still, quite literally, word porn.

If you are reading this book, and all its associated spin-offs, in chronological order, I recommend reading this after book 2 of the Beasts series and before book 9 of the Colony series. As I’ve read through this series and all its spin offs, I can attest that the plot is incredibly addictive. I am way too invested in each book, in all its adventure and romance. This book was no exception. Highly recommend.

There is nothing like find the One....

It really was quite annoying trying to have a successful show when the male contestant kept chosen some woman outside those selected for them.
However the show's higher-ups were now having to figure out how to salvage there product or else this could eventually
be fatal to them.
Hence them putting on their thinking caps and for once coming up with a better way of
dealing with certain issues.
But who really knows just how well these new changes really might work? Or not.
The people watching their show were the ultimate bread and butter and if they weren't happy then there was a chance they'd stopped watching.
They all knew what was truly going on and what was really at stake here so that's why they'd asked for samples from each of the lady contestants.
Bahre, knew it wasn't easy for some humans to comprehend the fact when they meet the right woman they just knew.
He'd been disappointed from the beginning because none of their precious contestants called to him.
He honestly never thought he'd be lucky enough to find his female but then something just hit him like a two tons of hormones and he knew.
Now that he actually could see her;
she was everything he could ever hope for and not wanting to waste a nanosecond he declared himself to his treasure.
All she was trying to do was her job and that involved telling her viewers about the weather and when one of the contestants declares that she's his.
But she needed to gracefully shift them away from where they were; to somewhere more private.
Quinn was still trying to wrap her head around the fact one of the contestants actually declared she was his.
She never expected something like this to happen to her nor did she really want it nor would she be rushed into anything.
Slow and steady was the only thing she'd accept.
And of course her friends thought she was crazy because they couldn't understand how or why she went home.
One friend made it very clear she should have been discovering a new stratosphere or something like he was mountain so and so in need of being climbed and conquered.
She should have known he'd be out there watching; while he wasn't the one I dreaded them must it was disconcerting all the same.
He was out in the rain; I'm not cold or even heartless so after getting a grip on myself I finally invited him inside my domicile.
Yeah I know what I've said over and over but that beast was even more scrumptious up close and even I know when to give a little.
However I was met with a sticky situation that I was totally ill prepared and no way to even summons help.
Bahre had gone to see his fellow mates and to collected his things just because they might be taking things a little slower didn't mean he would be staying here.
You could have heard a pin drop as another woman started talking and his whole world just came apart.
The last thing any warm blooded male ever wants is to let their precious female down and he unfortunately did.
He should have never left her and nope he wasn't going to calm down anytime soon.
But when he finally realizes its his own past that has come back to haunt his furture.
Bahre knows ever minute is precious and is holding on by a thread; however there are many who have stepped up to help him find and hopefully rescue his female.
Bahre will never stop until he finds her and once he does he'll never let her go.

MY MATE—MY QUEEN—MY LIFE

While this series is part of the Interstellar Brides Program, it has a unique twist that kept the pages turning as this tale unfolds. How to get more brides from Earth to want to go to the colony—a reality television contest of an Alien male and twenty-four human females. But so far, two tries have backfired when both Atlan Warlords beast found their own mates. As a precaution for the show, Bachelor Beast, will have five Atlan Warlords on standby. This story will be about Warlord Bahre and Quinn McCaffrey.

Quinn is part of 9 news in Florida when she meets Warlord Bahre on air. He is in the same building and catches her scent. He will find her doing the weather and declare himself to her.

“I am Warlord Bahre, my lady, and I am yours.”

Quinn left Chicago after a bad breakup with a man who is still stalking her. So when Bahre makes his public claim, that has her on edge. But Bahre, despite his size, is never pushy, and instead, rather poetic in his feelings for her—which works to his advantage. What a shock when he stands outside her home in the rain—as her protector. Can she trust him into her house? Her life? And then what?

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly among Aliens. Just when Quinn feels happy about her relationship and how it is progressing with Bahre, she is abducted and transported to outer space. But not by another Alien who wants her, oh no, his plan is nefarious, to sell her. Will her Beast find her before it is too late? Bahre calls in reinforcements, and several Aliens from previous stories will be involved. Has Bahre’s past, working for IC and Dr. Hellion the reason Quinn has been kidnapped? Will they get to her in time, before she is harmed? The strong, feisty Quinn is like the other Earth females before her, and that is what these Aliens seek in a mate.

“I was a damsel in distress. My beast had come for me and killed the terrifyingly beautiful monster who had intended to sell me like a piece of property.”

“You saved me. You came all the way across the universe to rescue me.”

But as in all great tales, you must read the story. Best of all, it does have the coveted happily ever after ending. Also, several more Warlords are mentioned at the beginning of this story, and one, Warlord Tane, goes with Bahre to save Quinn—so hopefully, he has his story next.

“You are my home, Quinn.”

Grace Goodwin is a superbly accomplished writer. Her Interstellar Brides series, now on its 19th book, never ceases to amaze
me. Each story is unique and well-crafted for our enjoyment. She usually adds cameo appearances from past books in the series. which I love. I am looking forward to Warden Egara getting her own mates. Will they be once again Prillons as were her original mates? Atlan Warrior, Tane also needs his own story and forever mate. Will more women apply to be an Interstellar Bride, especially for the Colony?

Before I begin my actual review of this story, I want to encourage any of you who have not done so yet, or even if you have, to apply to the Interstellar Brides Program. The application is at the beginning of this book. With whom will you be matched?

Quinn McCaffrey worked for a local Miami, Fla. TV station as a meteorologist, giving viewers the weather forecast twice a day. The scene opened with Quinn in her dressing room having her hair done by Ellen and her makeup by Susan. They both gushed over the 5 Atlans down several floors in the lobby of the TV station. They would be participating in the upcoming Bachelor Show featuring an Atlan Warrior and 24 beautiful young ladies. Ellen convinced Quinn to sneak down after the news to take a 5-minute peek at the warriors. Quinn really did not want to go. She had totally sworn off males, human or alien. She had an abusive relationship with an actor while living in Chicago. He followed her to Miami, forcing Quinn to obtain a restraining order again him.

Bahre already sneaked near the location where the prospective Bride(s) were kept. His super-sensitive sense of smell determined that none of the women is his mate. Although disappointed, it was not unexpected. As he wandered around in the lobby until he caught an intriguing scent, possibly his mate. He decided to investigate further. He found himself looking in on a live broadcast of the evening weather report. And, there she was, his mate.
Thus begins this delightful romantic adventure filled with both villains and heroes, and our heroine.

How to measure if a book is ok, good, great, off the charts? Sometimes it's because the story moves you. Sometimes it's because the information was important to your life. Sometimes it's because you are invested in the series long term and the book added to the world-building. Hmmmm....why did I give this book 4 stars if it's the first book I've read in this series, it's not information necessary to life and it wasn't a sweeping story that will change my life? It's because it made me smile and laugh out loud. Simply put, it's flipping enjoyable.

Quinn is a newscaster that just wants her stalker to leave her alone. Bahre is a lonely warlord that just wants a mate. The two of them never should meet because he's part of the Bachelor Beast program but his beast gets one whiff of Quinn's scent and decides that she's the one for him (honestly, it's kind of cute how he tracks her down by her scent and her reaction). For obvious reasons, Quinn is reluctant at first. For equally obvious reasons, Bahre must be around her and protect her (hello, alien warlord that finally found his mater here!). Yes! This is insta-love! Yes! It's totally silly. No! I don't care because I enjoyed it.

What did I not like? There were a couple of points in the book where the same item or concept was repeated. This is a pretty short book so there's no reason for a complete repeat of something that has already been integrated into the story. As an example, Bahre is scarred. It is introduced from both POVs. Boom, done until the couple gets together for the first time because that would make sense. Nope. It is rehashed as if readers didn't get it the first time. I get it, Bahre is concerned that his scars make him unappealing but the story isn't a deep dive in to his insecurities so rehashing doesn't really add anything.

I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys alien stories. This is a contemporary romance with some outer space stuff thrown in. If you need a fun romp to cleanse your palate then you might really enjoy this.

One of the best Atlan stories, yet (thankfully, not heartbreaking like Deek and Tiffani in Tamed by the Beast).

Wow, where to start. I knew from the start that the Bachelor Beast program was due to fail because an Atlan's Beast knows immediately when they have found their mate (the program would have a better chance with a Prillon, Trion, Viken, or even Rogue) but these Atlans do put on a show and get amazing ratings!

Awesome characters - main character, secondary characters (that we hope will become main characters), returning main characters - this book has them all. Fantastic world building - whether it's Earth, a battle group in the middle of space, a space station, or an alien planet, you can picture it all in your head from the descriptions the author gives.

I love the Interstellar Brides Atlans the best. Fated to be executed, if they do not find their mate before being overcome by mating fever. These self-sacrificing aliens will do anything to protect, cherish, and pleasure their mate. Gotta say it again - I LOVE THE ATLANS (the Atlans on the Colony are freaking heartbreaking and they need their mates yesterday).

Anyways, I am not going to go and reveal any of what happens. I am just going to say that it is a great story and the other Atlans in the Bachelor Beast program need to get their mates as soon as possible (especially Tane). I am really looking forward to Bahre's balls (read the book!).

I started the Interstellar Brides with Book 2 back in 2016 and I can honestly say that the stories have not gotten old. I am continually impressed with how deep and rich this universe has become. Grab this series and freakin' enjoy. Love this series!

Note: each story is a stand alone but to really enjoy and know what is going on and who is who (lots of recurring characters).

The realty show people have had their program plans blown away when the last 2 Atlans didn't find their mate among the contestants but they found them outside the show. This time they are taking precautions by having 5 Atlans looking for mates in the studio and making them live in quarters in the studio. They are hoping to control the Beasts finding their mates. Warlord Bahre is one of the 5 Atlans hoping to find his mate. He has had no luck with females before since he ended up with multiple scars from his ship crash landing. Bahre is also modified but not by the hive. He was modified by Atlan scientists trying to make him an ideal warrior against the hive. Bahre's enhanced senses have let him know that none of the contestants are his mate but one day he finds himself restless. He goes on a hunt to find out what is disturbing him when his beast gets a sniff of his mate. Bahre is determined to hunt her down and claim her. He finds her in front of a green screen doing weird motions in front of a camera. He moves closer to her and asks her to be his mate. She is shocked and confused. Bahre is going much too fast for her. Bahre is going to show her that he can control his beast.

Quinn is working as a weather person at the station's news program. She used to work a more important news job but she was being stalked. She moved to get away from him but he is still hanging around. She is not going to date anyone until she gets rid of her stalker. Then she meets Bahre. She is so attracted to him that she wants to him to claim her. Everything is moving too fast for her. She just wants to get to know him like humans do. She also thinks she should keep her distance because she is afraid what her stalker might do. Bahre is being wonderfully patient and giving her time to make her mind up.

Beauty and the Beast is the third book in the The Beasts series which is part of the Interstellar Brides Program and it gets better and better! I love how this continues. The suspense, intrigue and mystery continue throughout, the sexual scenes are HOT with a protective sexy beastly Alien and a smart weather girl from Earth.
Warlord Bahre is an Atlan Kindred who has been sent to Earth to appear on a reality TV show, The Bachelor Beast program, to find his mate. Quinn is a weather meteorologist on the local Miami TV station who has no desire to leave Earth, she just wants her ex boyfriend to stop stalking her. The TV station is in the same building as the TV show and Bahre scents his mate - Yes, you got it - it’s Quinn! He follows her scent to where she is prodcasting live - gets down on one knee and declares his love…..And the story takes off!!Bahre has enemies and they kidnap Quinn to cause him pain. It’s refreshing to read a. Sci-Fi story where the Alien states that he can live on Earth. Will he get her back before they harm her? Will Quinn wish to be with Bahre?
I have been reading the Interstellar Brides Program since Book 1. Grace Goodwin has written a dazzling amazing series and the stories do NOT get old or repetitive and we keep meeting characters from one story to another. I am impressed with how rich this Universe has become and the characters have depth. The stories are well written with many surprising twists and turns and the romance is warm and snuggly. Each story can be read as a Stand Alone but to really enjoy the stories, it is good to read them in order.
Love this series!!

Beauty and the Beast is the third book in the Interstellar Brides Program: The Beasts but is all part of Ms. Goodwin’s greater universe of the Interstellar Brides Program. You will meet mated members from previous books, but this book could stand alone. Quinn has her hands full between her meteorologist job and avoiding her stalker of an ex. But Bahre changes everything when he claims her publicly as his mate. Now she’s thrust into an alien world of danger. Will Quinn accept Bahre as her mate and survive long enough to find love?

Oh my goodness, this book was great! I loved Quinn and Bahre and loved all of the little twists and turns that their journey took them (and us readers) on! I feel like Quinn was a really interesting mix between being proud of herself, scared of her weaknesses, and a little bit bloodthirsty. I loved that she didn’t sign up to be a bride, so her view of all of the events in this book took on a different hue, and while she felt safe and confident with Bahre, she didn’t quite know what to think of all of outer space and the different cultures. Bahre was perfect for her, so protective, bold in his possession, yet willing to give even more of himself. I loved that he wasn’t in danger of mating fever, and I found it so interesting that he used his abilities to help Quinn. Their chemistry was intense, their connection couldn’t be denied, and I think my favorite scene was when Bahre followed Quinn home to keep her safe, swoon! I loved the danger that they both faced, the courage they had to show, and I fell for their love! There were so many unique takes in this book, and I loved every single one of them!

Wow this book took my breath away right from the start and never let go throughout it, the main characters Quinn and Bahre where amazing together and it was nice to meet up again with some old friends as well. This book was action packed and had it all from fear, stalking, kidnapping, murder, drama, suspense, chasing across the galaxy, falling in love and saving his mate from the bad guys. Bahre is an Altan Warlord that works for the IC under Dr Helion and with that job comes with some perks like enhanced smell and strength, cyborg parts to be the perfect assassin and the best at it. Now here he was on earth to enter into the Bachelor Beast Show but he is not interested in any of the women they picked because his mate is not one of them, enhanced smell comes in handy. But on the stairwell he and his beast recognises his mates scent and chases after it and finds her a couple of floors up and to say both there lives change at that moment is an understatement and it’s live for everyone to see and that’s not a good thing with the enemies Bahre has and doesn’t realise the danger he has just put his mate in until they come callings and she is kidnapped. Quinn has just meet her mate and she is unsure what to think and feel after her crazy ex boyfriend ruined her life but asks Bahre can they take it slow. What happens next I’m not telling I’ve already given away to much. But get this amazing book you want be disappointed.

The writing and editing was clean, with no typos that I found and well constructed sentences. The world building was competent, though not a vibrant character in itself by any stretch of the imagination. The characterization was competent, with the hero and heroine both being sympathetic individuals, though not especially nuanced. The development of the romantic relationship was hot, with the hero showing swoon worthy levels of devotion right from the beginning. The heat level was three chili peppers. The plot was exciting and the pacing quick. I enjoyed the plot in this novel far more than the previous novel in this series. Not as many silly misunderstandings in this one, which was a relief. There was low angst and high stakes throughout, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Partner in Trouble trope and the Fated Mates trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing were four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were also four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy the fantasy of a dangerous, devoted alpha male. I look forward to reading the next book in this series when it releases. I will buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Another fantastic book by Grace Goodwin. I absolutely and completely love all of the books by Grace Goodwin. She has a wonderful imaginative and creates wonderful world 🌍 and characters. Each planet and Her characters all of depth and characteristics that make them unique. Then add in my favorite elements of twist, turns, things going sideways, secrets, revelations, heat 🔥🔥 and emotions. I have not found any book that I have not liked and Beauty and The Beast is no exception. Bahre and Quinn are classic examples of the kinds of characters that Grace writes about. They both have so much chemistry between then and both have a history that made them who they are not to mention the societies and environment they grew up in adds depth to them. This makes them easily relatable and easy for readers to empathize with. When you have characters that you can relate to and empathize with you become that much more invested and interested in what you are reading. Readers are easily hooked from the first page and become engrossed till the very last page. Grace also will leave info on how to find bonus content on some of her books. Towards the end Grace included some references to what I am hoping will be in her next book and I can’t wait to find out more. Grace has a new series starting soon that I cannot wait for called the Starfighter Training Academy. Highly recommend Beauty and The Beast and any of Grace’s books. Warning Grace’s books including Beauty and The Beast will get you all hot and bothered so be prepared.

Grace Goodwin-Beauty and the Beast (Interstellar Brides Program: The Beasts Book 3)

What a fun exciting spinoff of the Interstellar Brides series, The Beasts. It almost feel sorry for the producers of the television show trying to have an Atlan Warlord find their mate as a “Bachelor” scenario. This show never seems to go as planned because ....Beasts. They tend to find their mates without the need of a television show, although many of the claiming somehow make it to television, both worldwide and universally.
Quinn is a meteorologist for the television station that also hosts Bachelor Beast. She has seen some of the Atlan Warlords and finds herself attracted to one who is significantly scarred, Bahre.
Bahre does not expect to find a mate while working on this mission but catches the scent of a certain meteorologist, Quinn, and declares his devotion and “claiming” on all media. Quinn is thrilled but does want to get to know him first. First dates with Atlan Warlords escalate to very hot pretty quickly.
Having heard the claiming from media, Cerberus, an evil leader on Rogue 5 plots to kidnap Quinn for himself. This way he gets the retribution he wants against Bahre and gain himself a human mate.
Their exciting story takes off as fast as their romance with action, danger, suspense, lots of hot Atlan sex,and many great secondary characters (some favorites we have met in other books). Another awesome book in this series.
