EK Jonathan was born in Hawaii, USA, and has lived in various states across the country and abroad as a need greater. In 2013 he finished his first full length novel, "All Things New". Since then, he has released, on average, one new novel per year. His last project was "Time and Unforeseen" a suquel to his 2018 young adult novel "The Bloom of Youth".
EK Jonathan currently lives in the United States with family, where he teaches English and works as a graphic designer. He is also the writer, director, and artist for an upcoming paradise-themed video game called Project Paradise.
I really enjoy reading (and re-reading) EK Jonathan’s trilogy. I first read it when it was released pre-pandemic and now more recently and of course it seems a little dated in light of all that has happened since then, but the message and theme are still relevant- they faith needed to endure, the trials we all face, the doubts and fears. I had to keep reminding myself that these are not real people and I won’t be them meeting one day 🤣. Good job, EK!
Spending time with characters who are lovers of Jehovah
I would like to read more prayers and personal conversations between the characters and their personal relationship with Jehovah. Like the Psalmists and Jesus did. Perhaps this is inappropriate for such heartfelt person prayers between a fictitious character and Jehovah. Also, more scriptures and Bible pearls of wisdom and spiritually weak Christians becoming wise and more spiritual.
It took me forever to finish because it was in my kindle and I would read sporadically at night before bed and fall asleep after a few mins but got to knock it out on a plane ride. It was very well written. The author made a statement about people being sensitive to any violence in the book but like… have you read the Bible? Lol sheesh. I think he did a great job. Exciting read and it’s a great fiction that feeds my faith. Love it!
As one of Jehovah witnesses I truly enjoyed this book. It was such a good description of what we will have to endure and the importance of following directions
Wow, this was exciting from book one. It gave my imagination a new perspective on thinking about the last days All that I can say is, the emphasis on being obedient, making your best effort to preach and teach, keeping your integrity based on faith, prayer and love for Jehovah and Jesus should consume your life. Time is too short to waiver. Practice now so that you can be prepared to take your stand. Enjoy these books!
Great read. Really makes you think about what will actually happen at the great tribulation and Armageddon. If anything it really makes you want to build your faith so no matter how it ends we will be ready like the characters in this book.
I choose this book because this writer has the ability to put you in the book. You become friends with the characters you can feel what they're feeling, see what the seeing it's truly an amazing and thought provoking experience.
