Cecile Bertod is actually the pseudonym of Annalisa Ramundo, a thirty-year-old restorer from Naples with a degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. Before graduating, she studied acting in Rome. She plays the piano, paints and draws vignettes.
She started writing five years ago as a self-published author, her first book was a fantasy titled "The keepers of Elend: the ruins of Christalia", then she switched to romance with the Ideal Assistant and, after a few months, she released her first chick-lit novel: "Wife with Benefits", later published by Newton Compton with the title "I don't like you but I love you".
Since then she added more stories under her belt: I love you but I can't, Once upon a time in New York, After you no one ever, You belong to me, Never again in love and The Gangster of my dreams.
Some of her novels have been translated into English by Aria publishing house under the pseudonym of Celia Hayes.
