After Rin shares some profound insights with Komugi about her crush, she learns it’s easier to bottle up her feelings for the wolf-boy, Yū. As Komugi gets to really know Rin the fox, his cold exterior slowly melts away–and Yū can’t help but be concerned. In order to let someone new into his heart, Yū struggles to confront his emotional trauma from the past. But by the time Yu realizes his true emotions, something unthinkable has happened to Komugi…
I liked this one even more than the first one! Such a cute and happy ending. I just wish it was longer! I hope this gets made into an anime one day. I also loved the bonus chapter at the end(:
This series was so cute. I loved the art and all the twists & turns that happen through the 4 volumes. I really enjoyed all the characters and how the series ended.
I don’t this is a s good as the first one however I still enjoyed it. I'm a little disappointed that she went back to yū and didn't start anything with Rin, I would ha e found that interesting to read and see in more detail their dynamic. By her choosing to go back to Yū, I felt that we were seeing Nything new as we have ready see how their dynamics are and I know that they were ways gonna end up together but it would have been nice for this to have not been the case. Just this once.
I was also let down by how Yū and Komugi met, the was both of the omnibus volumes lead us to believe it was something tragic (not that the death of his mother isn't) I'm speaking more woth how Yū and Komugi met rather then how Yū came to know senses Yata.

The perfect ending to such a beautiful romance story. Each character gets their deserved character development and everyone's backstory is finally revealed. I found myself very emotional after finishing, for reasons that I was absolutely not expecting. I am so satisfied with this entire series and fully believe it has the most satisfying ending of any manga I've read to date. This might just be my top read of 2021. If you are on the edge of reading or are indecisive, let me tell you now you will not regret picking up this series. It's surprising and heartwrenching in all of the most perfect ways. You will not find a better manga to satisfy your animal-boy needs.
Since this series is so short I'm just gonna write a review here. I thought it was cute, it did have some Fruit Basket elements to it but FB is a lot more memorable than this one. In my opinion, the second lead deserves to be the main lead. The main lead just toyed with our FL's heart and I was disappointed in the end but the journey was cute. Also Senri deserves the world, I wish we had seen more of him throughout the volumes.
(I actually read most of the manga online, it's a good place to start with manga because it's pretty short and the art style is cute.)
I wish I could have loved this series more. I didn't care about the main couple and there were two many plot threads that were left unanswered or just ended abruptly with nonsensical explanations.
I do think that kids who struggle with reading could enjoy this because it is light and very easy to follow... but that is all it is.
I am almost tempted to put the rating down to 2 stars because I am so disappointed with the fact that it over... ugh
Just gonna give both these omnibuses the 5 stars they deserve because they delivered exactly the story promised on the back of the cover. The characters are lovable for different reasons, the romance is sweet and it’s a very light manga read expanding only 4 volumes.
My only nit-pick is that I wish the heroine had just a bit more depth, but I think that could have only been done had the series spanned a longer run, so I’m willing to let it slide.
Did I not just say that I was going to read this right after my other review? Anyway I absolutely devoured these mangas. Please read this series it is so cute and wholesome. Also I now need to check out Yoko Nogiri’s other manga series “Those Not-So-Sweet Boys” and “Love in Focus” because I absolutely love her art style and her stories are amazing.
What is it with me and loving the art of animal transitions to human and such and these story lines? The fact of the end, I will not spoil, comes full circle and I love it, At times with the characters, I have a hard time differentiating between the main group of boys. Yet this was a sweet enduring collection to come to an end.
I would have definitely preferred another volume or two; there was easily enough content that could have been expanded. The ending felt a tad rushed, as if a happy ending took precedence over character development. The way certain characters acted seemed against their normal behavior. But the ending was still sweet and I very much enjoyed this story.
I enjoyed this manga series ALOT. It did give me alittle fruits basket vibes without just being a cheap copy of it. The sorry was simple and well done. It didn't go into full drama or slow burn. If you like simple wholesome love with just a tad bit of angst I highly recommend!
Love all these boys. But their sensai was a bit creepy? unexplained? weirdly mysterious? Lol. Not sure how to describe my feelings about him without spoiling the manga. But regardless, this was highly enjoyable!
Just… bland. Not bad, just not nearly as good as love in focus. The animal designs stood out in a really weird way too, it just felt clunky, and the ending was very very meh. Wouldn’t recommend, just go read fruits basket.
The conclusion was sweet. Not exactly ground breaking, and I do love the little flashbacks that are done for Komugi and Yu. I enjoyed my time with the shapeshifters and girl who met one when she was a child.
This was cute but too short to build any sort of meaningful plot. The characters were kind of shallow and odd. The romance didn't have much substance, I would have liked more chapters building on their dynamic and their relationship.
a nice story with a happy ending.... not much to be said since it is a short series... only 4 volumes... so the author couldn't go into to much details.... just deep enough to bring the story together.... good for the days where you don't feel like reading but still want to.
This was a cute series but sadly too short ☹️ also I always end up rooting for the underdog and they never are who the main character ends up with 😅 it’s okay rin, I love you.
