CASSIE STEPHENS, YOU'RE MY ART TEACHERIN' HERO.
Thank you for writing a book for all of us newbies out there to the art teacher life! I guess experienced art teachers could benefit from this too, but I am still in the arena of new-ish/relatively inexperienced, so I can only speak for myself.
This book had me laughing out loud on many occasions, as some of her examples and stories felt really, really close to home. She has a great way of looking at the big picture and the overall goals as an art teacher, and then giving really practical, applicable advice on how to implement such grand ideas into the art room. The chapters on kindergarten were particularly helpful and have a LOT of underlining in them.
Highly recommend for any other art teachers out there, especially as you are just starting out on your teaching journey.

Goldmine of wisdom!! Brilliant teacher, fabulous writer! I have introduced so many of Cassie’s creative ideas into my classroom with great success. I can not say enough good things about this woman! So talented, hilarious, emotionally intelligent and heartfelt. Thank you!

This book is so so wonderful. This is my 5th year teaching art and I learned so much! Cassie is so generous to share her wisdom with the art teaching world and I can’t wait to use some of her tips and tricks in my classroom. If you are an art educator I highly highly recommend this book!!! (Mostly for elementary level art teachers but I’m almost positive secondary teachers could take a lot away from this book as well). If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

I have been thoroughly enjoying Cassies YouTube videos for many months now. When I was asked to teach art to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders at a Co op this year, I knew it was time to purchase her book. It has a lot of encouraging and wise insight into how to be the best art teacher I can be. I plan on using this book as a lifeline this year. Thank you Cassie!

I am an art teacher. I have been for 8 years. Just read this book and I wish I had read it sooner. I love Cassie Stephens. This book did not disappoint with tips and tricks and just making you feel validated as an art teacher!

I've gotten much of the content via Cassie's blog and social media, but it's great to sit down and have this tool as I rehash my first year of teaching and prepare to set up my second art room.

This book is great! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is some of the editing and language isn't the greatest. But if you teach art in any capacity, this is definitely a must-read! Go buy this book and read it now, fellow art teachers! You won't regret it!

Practical, positive, and unpretentious. Cassie is the friend every art teacher wishes they had. A great read!
