For a moment, I thought I had it all. I thought we could be us, together, out in the open. That I could hold her hand and kiss his lips and not have to hide in the shadows. I was wrong. It would have been better if I’d never tasted their love at all. The loss of it, once it was in my grasp, shattered me, body and soul. I take little pleasure in knowing I did the same to them.
Amanda Faye currently resides in Atlanta with her high school sweetheart and husband of 15 years and their 4 amazing children.
She's had a passion for reading and writing since she was a child. She stole her first romance novel from her mother at age 12 and hasn't looked back since.
You could say being a Reeder is in her blood. (Family joke)
Ok first things first— this is book two in the series, and you really need book one before you dive in here, so if you haven’t already, go read that (it’s totally worth it). The story, and characters, just get more compelling in this installment, and all the passion and feelings just keep building. Once again, I can’t wait to see what happens next.

First things first this is the second book in a trilogy. Which means you MUST read the first book Bound before you crack this one opened. I will say we pick up right where Bound ends. You will find yourself wrapped up in the emotions that is written within these pages. You may need a box of tissues and you may need a stiff drink as well. Oh and prepare yourself for the ending. As I stated earlier this is the second book in the trilogy so let's just say I need the last book now! I need to know how everything is going to play out. I need to see..... Well I just need it!
Please read the 1st part of this trilogy, you will not regret it. Wow to love not one but 2 people and then to lose that love , this is what Remi is going through , he thought the trees of them could make it work in private and public but now he is heartbroken. Justin and Julia are at a loss with out Remi, His family is the reason, I am so ready to read the 3rd part so I can see just how the cliffhanger works itself out
After reading the first in this series, I was anxiously awaiting this installment and absolutely loved it! Remington is struggling with the conflict between his familial obligations, the expectations of his father and society, and the desires of his heart for his best friends. I really just want to hug him. Justin and Julia are reeling from the loss of Remi in their lives and their struggles just come through the pages so heartbreakingly well. The emotional cliffhanger at the end has me on edge for the next installment!
When I started reading this book, I was worried I would be tearing up the whole time. Justin’s pain was so visceral, Julia’s pain was so dark, and Remi was just so broken. And there were tears, but there’s also hope. These characters go through SO MUCH and I felt like I was right there with them on the emotional roller coaster. This story ends in a good place - I can’t wait to see how Justin/Julia/Remington’s story concludes.
This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride that leaves you hanging on the edge. You never know when it's going to drop, in an exciting thrilling way. Justin, Remi and Julia each individually need something that only the other can give them to be whole. Truly beautiful writing and the characters draw you into their world and keep you there. Outstanding!!
Do not read this book without reading book 1, you won’t follow it at all.
Broken was a heartbreaking read. From cover to cover it details the haunting feeling of loss. Remi might of physically left Julia and Justin but he can’t remove them from his heart. All three are hurting and there does appear to be a why back to each other.
Definitely a few places where tissues might be needed.
This continued the story of Julia, Justin and Remi. This book was full of pain, heartbreak, realizations, coming to terms with life, and love. There were moments that my heart hurt for all three, yet I felt the love shine through it all. I look forward to the ending of this trilogy.
I received a copy of this story through The Hatters Service, and this is my unsolicited review.
This is the second book in this amazing trilogy and the continuation of Justin, Remi, and Julia’s journey. Remi is broken and struggling with the conflict between family obligations and expectations, while yearning for Justin and Julia. Justin and Julia are also struggling with the loss of Remi. This is a well written emotional roller coaster, which is filled with angst, challenges, heartbreak, turmoil, conflict, and love. I cannot wait to read the conclusion of this phenomenal series, and I highly recommend this talented authors work.
OMG! OMG! OMG! So much pain. So much angst. So much heartbreak. So much love. So much loss. So many powerful emotions. Is there also hope? No spoilers from me, but this one ends in a cliffhanger that has me absolutely NEEDING that 3rd book!

Waaaauw! 😍😍abso- fuckin- lutely loved it! Can’t wait to know how it’s gonna end! I was on the edge of tears almost the entire book … but it was magic! Ps: I ‘m hoping for babies in all the colors of the world for the last part…😜🤩… and some hot make-up scenes!
Have to just day that I've never cried as much as I have reading a story as I have with reading book 1 Bound and now book 2 Broken. Such an emotional roller-coaster. This author is extremely talented. Definitely a must read!!! Can't wait for book 3!!!❤️❤️
You have got to read the 1st book Bound in this series. Then you follow them through heartwarming stuff to heartbreaking struggles. You won't be disappointed and you won't want to put it down. There are many up's and downs that you can't help but be invested and involved with them individually
This was heartbreaking, angsty andso good in so many ways. I can’t wait to get the third book to my hands and to get to the end of their story. The emotional turmoil in this one just brought the tears, but the character development was also wonderfully written.
