Please for the love of everything I need more! I will pay you! I thought I had read almost all the SSHG stories out there and stumbled on yours and I fell in love instantly I hate how people have Snape just suddenly snap to being lovey and your slow turn made it so much more believable. I think you captured the characters perfectly! I can't wait to see what you do next with it. I hope you're doing okay on a personal side of things covid hasn't been easy on any of us. Chin up fellow Slytherin we always make it through.
I just spend the last 36h reading this. And oh my, what a journey. It was beautiful and heartwarming and so so perfect. I loved every single thing about this fanfiction. I loved Snape and his characterization. Loved how he slowly opened up to Hermione. And I loved Hermione too. Her determination and resolution, the way she just wanted Severus to be happy and, above all, alive. The romance was slow and natural and right and so real. The way Hermione slowly crushed Severus’ walls and gained not only his trust, but his heart. The way he never stopped loving her, even after years and years and years. After two wars, after all the suffering he went through. He still loved her so much. Anyway, lots of rambling. Just finished reading, so emotions are high. This was perfect. That’s it. And Geez, I love my baby Severus (and I’m crying while writing this).
This story is everything to me. It's canon. I had a serious book hangover when I was done. I was happy, and full of joy, but it was also bittersweet because I missed the story. It was the most satisfying conclusion, but I need to reread it and experience it again.
I not only fell in love with the dynamic between Hermione and the younger (I think 17yo?) Severus, but the entire time she spent in the past. I became so attached to that time period and her Ravenclaw friends.
It was like experiencing Hogwarts again for the first time, but with the wonderful tension and eventual attraction between Hermione and Severus.
Thank you MegGonagall. I hope this fanfic blows up because you definitely deserve it. If you're reading this and ever considering adding more scenes, I would love to have a little more closure with Amelia and Sirius.
3.5. While I thought it was a good book it just felt like things were missing. While it did eventually explain it self I also felt like it sometimes rushed things. Scenes that could have been more weren’t, and then when we finally get his flash backs that felt nice. There were times I wish we could have got Snapes POV of her time. Like what he was feeling when he saw her again, how he struggled. And then we would get when Remus put it together, how Amelia felt, how Black reacted, that would have been nice to see. I thought it was well written but there were times I felt she just rushed a chapter to finish it, and then spending 10 years on it, wanted it to end. While I think she did good there was just some lacking.
Top tier fluff. Wholesome first love. Confusing timey-wimey stuff though. So I have docked a star unfortunately. The plot mainly was minus points for me. Like the stuff that, because they already knew her in the future, how could she ever change anything? Because we already know the end result. And her having to leave was absolutely devastating aaaah my heart breaks for Sev

Loved the way the characters were brought to life & their relationship. I think that Hermione‘s time travel had more impact and consequences than that was implied. Therefore I felt the was end not that logical. But that‘s not why I read it…
Loved Severus in this and surprisingly the time travel aspect. Author did great job with the ending with the Pensieve. I could have used slightly longer chapters--but was well written and edited.
It was an entertaining read. If you ship Severus/Hermione you will definitely like this one. I do think it dragged at times and it could have been shorter. I do think that it doesn’t make sense to travel back in time just to save one man, so that does affect my rating.

It’s finally finished!!!! It was such a great book. I loved every second of it. I’m just glad I found it when the author was super close to finishing it so I didn’t have to wait long. There’s not any smut which was kind of disappointing but other than that it was a great story. I would love to read another long story from this author.
Myselimyselimyyyyyys. Hermione åker tillbaka i tiden till när hon är jämngammal med typ 16-åriga Snape, och alla går i skolan och hon är där typ något år och blir kompis med alla.
