What fun! If you love the game and the movie Clue, you will absolutely love this book! I adore both the movie and the game. I want to go stay at the B&B!
Pepper and the aunts needed to come up with a way to attract customers to the B&B. Since the B&B had gotten the reputation for murders business has been slow. So they came up with the idea of Cluedo. I thought that was brilliant! Who wouldn’t want to stay in cottages as one of the players? A party of six thought the same as me and booked a Mystery Holiday. I was so jealous...even when a body count started. I didn’t figure out who did it though I had a marvelous time reading the mystery. If you enjoy wacky fun with your mystery, you need to grab this one. It is on my list as one of my most fun books read for this year.

Witches Diaries is the 8th Book in the wildly fantastic Witches and Wine Cozy Mystery Series by Morgana Best. This is such a great series and this book was no exception.
Pepper and the Aunts were trying to come up with a way to drum up business for the Inn since business has been declining since there has been so many murders.
I was so thrilled that they decided to use the Clue (Cleudo) game as its my all time favorite game and movie! They used Clue as the theme for the cottages and business was booming with a group of six booked in for a mystery holiday.
Things didn't go as planned and there was another murder! Pepper and the Aunts want to investigate and all does not go as planned. I really enjoy the romance between Pepper and Lucas, it has really evolved since the first book and I love their interactions.
But the mystery was FANTASTIC! I never guessed who it was for a second, though I thought I had.
The characters are well developed and so fun. I LAUGHED out loud at so many parts.
This is such a well done book and series, I highly recommend it.

Witches' Diaries is the 8th in the Witches and Wine series by Morgana Best in which Valkyrie aka Pepper and her aunts are trying to figure out how to attract people to their Bed & Breakfast after the recent murders caused everyone to cancel their reservations. Aunt Maude suggested themed cottages after the Pepper's favorite board game Cluedo (Clue). After reinventing their cottages and their website...the reservations come pouring in. Their first group of six mystery guest arrive and then the first murder happens with the candlestick. While Detective Oakes is trying to figure out who the killer is a second person dies. Pepper and Aunts are going have to help if they don't want more dead bodies.
I highly recommend this book and each in the series. It was a quick and fun read! But I do believe all they do is drink their Witches Brew! I was given ARC of this book for my tru and honest opinion.

With reservations having dropped to Zero after a newspaper ran an article about all the murders at the manor.
The aunts decide to change the cabin themes to mimic the game of Cluedo (AKA as Clue in other parts of the world).
Their first guest are arriving and getting settled in when a piercing scream comes from one of the cabins.
You guessed it. Another murder.
Pepper and the aunts have five guest as suspects.
The daughter of the deceased (who has been disinherited).
Her husband.
The grand-daughter of the deceased (who is favored by her grandmother)
The boy-toy of the deceased (he's at least 50, which gives a pretty good idea of the deceased age)
And the boyfriend of the grand-daughter who nobody (including the grand-mother) likes.
A good story with a couple of surprises, both in the mystery, and for Pepper herself.

A visit to Mugwort Manor is always a delightful and hilarious experience, and this eighth book in the series is no exception.
After multiple murders have occurred at the Bed and Breakfast, Pepper and her aunts have decided to redecorate and rebrand the guest houses in hopes of enticing new customers. Soon the cottages are remodeled after the famous rooms from the game Cluedo or as we call it in the US, Clue. Almost immediately bookings are filling the calendar. The first six guests include a Miss Scarlett (Moxie Maisie), Colonel Mustard (Frances Wiggenbottom Higgenhouse the Ninth), Mrs. White (Demelza), Professor Plum (Eli Miles), Mr. Green (Finn), and Mrs. Peacock (Priscilla Lockhart). Off we go into another zany murder mystery at Mugwort Manor.
Wonderful characters, murder, extreme silliness, and romance mix together in what I think is the best book in the series. I loved it!

Is a bit like, a Mystery there's murder but who done it.
Did they use the candlestick..
The Gun...or something else.
It's a Bit of a clue.
For me this story reads alot like the Game Clue..
So this is book 8 in this series.
But I enjoyed every page.
The aunts that Own the manor well, there a bit Different there self. and then there's the Neice pepper who lives with her aunts. At the manor.
This is definitely a page Tuner.

The Best book of the series, so far. Clue, aussie style with a curious group of boarders. There is more than one mystery going on. Besides two murdered boarders, there is a strange realtor, new to town knocking at their door, wanting to buy the not for sale B&B. Who is he and what is he up to? Add to this batch of questions the fact that Lucas has been disappearing on mysterious 'things to do' and you have a non ending, fast moving game of clue. I do not ever give anything about a book away, BUT, I will say this.... the ending made me cheer out loud and the end is only the beginning!

A redecorating at Mugwort Manor has lead to a group of boarders. They all want to be part of the featured Clue game. However, when the first murder occurs, the aunts and Pepper jump into the investigation. During this investigation there is another murder. Is anyone safe? Who is the murderer? I am enjoying this series, especially the aunts, who make me laugh out loud! I recommend you give them a try!

Pepper and her aunts have no reservations for guests because of all the murders that occurred. One of her aunts suggests a new theme for the cottages…a popular game! It works! Now bustling once again, the people come to play the game but guess what? Another murder happens~ Now Pepper has a new mystery to solve~ What happens when it ends up being two murders? Will this shut the B&B down? Lucas has a huge surprise in store as well for Pepper…

After many murders, Pepper/Valkyrie is trying to rebrand the bed and breakfast. Pepper and her aunts finally agree on a Cluedo/Clue theme. Each cottage will be a room from the game, complete with an instrument of murder. However, in true fashion, no sooner does the first extended family show up then the first murder happens. Who’s the murderer and will others be killed?

Due to several recent murders at Mugwort Manor, the bed and breakfast isn’t doing well. When Pepper and the Aunts decide to do over the cottages in Clue themed rooms, business picks up. The first group of boarders arrive dressed as the Clue characters and now there is a real murder to solve. Totally enjoyable read, I just loved it. I received an advance readers copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Pepper and the Aunts decide to embrace the murders that have occurred at their bed and breakfast. They redecorated the cottages with new themes. Things were going well until a new murder has happened.
Pepper, Lucas and the Aunts will work to find out who committed the crime this time.
This was a fun read. There is a character for everyone in this series. It is book was a nice distraction from the world. I recommend reading.

love this series
The bed and breakfast cottages are redecorated with a new themes representing the rooms in the detective game Clue. Bookings come in and the first party arrives to play. They are a totally dysfunctional family plays a game about solving a murder. What could possibly go wrong? Really enjoyed this book. I love the characters. The ending is something of a surprise. I look forward tor the next book.

Witches and vampires
I don't remember but I might have gotten the 1st book free once you start reading you find you cannot put the book down after reading the 1st book you have to get the second 3rd and you have to have them all in front of you to make sure you just keep reading . These books are very exciting and interesting and keeps you going I Anybody who likes a good mystery and love story Would want to read these 8 books. Can't wait for the next book

Magical!
I have certain expectations whenever I start a new Best-book, and yes, it was a good one again! You just know you’re in for a fun ride! And that was just what I needed! And I love playing Cluedo, even though it’s been a while, I should really play it again. So it was really nice to have that as part of the story. Twists and turns made sure I was on the edge of my seat. And that ending!

Pepper and the aunts are at it again. After several murders at the bed and breakfast, bookings are practically non existent. They go with a new theme and business is back. Don't let that fool you though, there is more murder to investigate. I love being back at Mugwort Manor with Pepper and her can't aunts. There's never a dull moment! I totally enjoyed this book.

A mix between Clue plus And Then There Were None. This is a marvelously funny and engaging mystery that will leave readers questioning the identity of the real murderer. All have motives, all have opportunities, but only one... Or is it two?... Did it. This is a story readers won't want to put down, especially with the exciting ending.

Wonderful storyline
This was a great storyline involving Clue(do). I felt like I was watching the movie while reading. It was a great experience. Good to noodle that this wasn't the last book in the series, especially after THAT ending!!! Luv you M Best. Keep an coming!!!

Take the game of Clue. Add in real murder and a sneaky killer and you have "Witches Diaries"
Everyone could be a suspect.

This one started out really good. It had a lot of the fun, quirk, and charm the first book had. The proofreading and editing for this book was much better than the last. At around half way through the book though, things started to get bizarre.

This was a really fun installment! I enjoyed the mystery but was a bit disappointed that this book didn’t advance the overarching plot of the series. It’s the last book that is published (April 2023) so I really do hope the author comes back to the series and completes it.

Absolutely amazing! I was riveted the entire book. So twisted! It was Clue on some serious substances! And the ending was magical! Loved it.

Witches’ Diaries was a fun read, but desperate for an editor. I love the quirky characters, but the story needs to be tightened.
