So many unanswered questions
The way this story is written feels like a roller coaster ride: nice evolution, the relationship between the protagonists is adorable and then you get to botched scenes and too many unanswered crucial questions. You have a beautiful story with a mysterious start. It evolves nicely, the relationship between Amy and Ryan is very sweet. What annoyed me was everything that was left unsaid. We barely learn the truth about Amy’s life in two lines, and everything seems to be suspended and we have to guess/imagine what was being said between her brother and her. Then it ends abruptly, like a high school kid that has a paper to give back to his teacher and wants to get rid of it as fast as he can.
There has got to be a sequel or something, because we barely scratched the surface of Amy and Ryan’s world, with that clan thing that seems to have strong rules, Ryan’s father being a jerk for who knows why, Amy’s brother coming out of the blue only to leave, without us knowing what went on between the two of them.
A story with much potential that has an ending making it fall flat.

Will He Choose His Love or His Clan?
Ryan belongs to a wolf clan that for some reason has started to produce werewolves instead of just wolf shifters. The werewolves are unable to control themselves and are very dangerous when they are shifted, which fortunately is only on the full moon. The clan elders have decreed that there will be no more mates and no more children. Their solution to the problem is to let the clan die off. Ryan and several of the other younger males don’t agree but are forced to follow the rules. Ryan is out for a run one day when he comes across a car that has crashed with a woman trapped inside. Ryan manages to get her out just before the car explodes with all of her things in it. She is able to tell him her name is Amy and then she passes out. He carries her to his cabin and treats her injuries the best he can. When she wakes up she doesn’t remember anything including her name. She refuses to go to the hospital or a doctor because she has this unexplained feeling that she is supposed to be hiding. She panics whenever Ryan tries to get her to go anywhere so he just takes care of her the best he can. After a few days she is well enough to be out of bed. Ryan takes her to the crash site and she remembers that the reason she crashed was because her brakes failed. Someone had cut the brake line, so they know that her feeling of needing to hide was correct. Ryan is pretty sure she is his mate but he can’t claim her because of the elders in the clan. He must hide her from everyone and takes her to his sisters. Over the weeks that follow, a few memories return and they have fallen in love with each other. Ryan tells her about being a shifter and she is very accepting of that. But that still doesn’t help them resolve the clan issue. Will Ryan chose her over his clan and family and will she ever regain her memories?
A great book and I have a feeling it is the start of a new series! Can’t wait for the next one.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Ryan is this sexy as all get out shifter with more problems then he know headed his way. People are holding secrets and not the good kind of secrets Ryan’s instincts tell him the elders and his parents know more about what’s happening to the shifters. Amy is running for her life when she gets in an accident losing her memory upon waking, she sees this beautiful man taking care of her immediately the chemistry is instant and intense. With Ryan’s help she learns to live again yet still running but oh boy when her memory comes back landing them in so much more trouble than they could have imagined and sadly his parents knew what was going on. Will we find out what’s going on and will they survive to find their happiness?

Ryan is a wolf shifter and is next in line to to take the alpha position. But he is having a problem with the rules the elders have put in place. Even as alpha, he would not have the power to override what has been set in place. The thought of this consumes him. He is not ready to watch his pack die out, but he feels his hands are tied. While out one day he comes across a wrecked car and there is a woman trapped inside. He knows he has to get her out, she's in a dangerous situation. When Ryan finally pulls her out, she is unconscious. He takes her home to nurse her back to health. She comes to, believes her name is Amy and remembers nothing else except she thinks she's supposed to hide. As Ryan helps her, their feelings grow, the chemistry sizzles.
I'm going to leave it at this point. Did I leave out some things that happened? Yes. Because I don't do spoilers. I've been a fan of Serena Meadows from the moment I read the first book and I've yet to be the slightest bit disappointed. I hope everyone who loves this genre, grabs this book. It will definitely keep you flipping pages. Don't be surprised if you get addicted to her books, I know I am.
Remember, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

Amalia was on the run her brother told her to go to the cabin but if she was followed to head to Seattle. When she reaches the top of the rise she catches her first glimpse of the Cascades. When she starts to go down the decline the car picks up speed and her brakes don’t work. Amalia goes over the edge and into the canyon then she hits her head and knocked her self out. Ryan is out for a run when he hears a noise and smells petrol. He got her out of the car and away just before the car blew up. Ryan took her back to his house and when she woke up she couldn’t remember who she was. Ryan stays to look after her and makes excuses to his father why he isn’t at work. In the end he takes her to his sisters house so he can go back to work without having to worry about her. Ryan’s family run a logging business. Ryan is in disagreement with members of the council who have said no one can have any children as some turned into wear wolves and were banished from the town as they were dangerous. Ryan’s sister helps provide food for them. So far Amy as she said her name was doesn’t know he is a Wolf. They get close and so that he can get back to work he takes her to stay with his sister. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say it’s a good book

This is the 1st book in the Lumberjack Wolves series. This is the story of Ryan and Amy (Amaliya). Ryan belongs to a Wolf shifter clan where the elders have said no more mates and no more children. The clan is slowly dying out. Ryan is the rebel son – he doesn’t think they should follow the elders’ rules and is looking for a way to change things. Amy is on the run from the mafia and is on her way to a remote cabin that her brother told her about when she veers of the cliff and crashes. Fortunately, Ryan is out for a run and finds the wreckage and saves Amy from dying. There is an instant attraction between the two. Amy wakes up with memory loss but has a feeling she is supposed to be hiding.

I was so excited when this new series started and rightfully so. Ms. Serena Meadows has started yet another wolf series and I like it so very much. She takes these stories in ways that you might not think about. She has such a wonderful imagination for storytelling. Wolf shifter and Human woman that may not be because the elders say they want the pack to die because of the unstable werewolves. But of course, he is the black sheep and wants to figure out who to go against the new rule and keep her as his mate. The problem is she is on the run but forgot when he finds her at her wrecked car. Will he be able to help her get her memory back, tell her about his wolf, tell her they can't be together because of the elders? Does he accept any of this? Does he go against what is the new rule? Grab this and find out. Can't wait to read about Chris and the others.

Who is Ryan? Where is he currently and where is he from? Who is Jimmy? What joke does he try to pull on his buddies? What do we learn about Ryan? Who is Amaliya? Where is she and why? Who is Trevor and how does he know Amalia? Who is Tobin? What happens when Amaliya heads to her destination? Boy howdy, there were some really big surprises in the story! Especially for Ryan's father. Who is Miranda? How do they know Sam, Ryan, and Miranda, that is? What happens the last time Ryan visits with his father? When Trevor shows up, what happens? I cannot wait to see who Alex and nina are and what roles they will play in the series! I was surprised at what I learned when Trevor showed up. Read and see what I mean.

Amalia is running from something and only her brother knows what's going on. When she has a car wreck she wakes up with no memory. Ryan is a wolf shifter and spots her car and saves her just before it blows up. He brings her back to his place until she wakes up. When she first wakes up she worries that Ryan is a bad person but her feelings change pretty quick. Ryan wants to keep her safe but he has a secret of his own that he hasn't shared with her. As they get closer its not long before neither wants to be apart from the other. However will Ryan be able to keep her safe? What will his family say about them being together?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ryan is a wolf-shifter with bad events in his past and an uncertain future. When he comes across Amaliya's car he knows he has to act fast before it burst into flames. Shifting between wolf and human he manages to extract her from the car just in time. She comes to long enough to tell him her name is Amy and then passes back out. The next time she regains consciousness she has no memories of who she is or where she is even from. She is only sure of one thing - she has to remain hidden.

We meet Amalia on the phone with her brother who is telling her to run and take cover. He would find her at a later point, when things have become safe enough for her to return. What exactly is going on, we do not know. On the way to her destination, she has an accident and is rescued by Ryan, a wolf shifter alpha. He is unhappy with his pack, his family and everything and takes Amelia as an excuse to stay away. When Amelia wakes up she has no memory and it does not return after a few days... Together - against the wish of his elders he tries to help Amelia.
Both need to find out about things in the past, have to come to terms with it and decide what to do.
A good book, a strong plot and engaging characters.

Rescued By The Damaged Wolf: (Lumberjack Wolves) by Serena Meadows is an intriguing,steamy and interesting shifter romance story of Ryan and Amy..Ryan is soon to be alpha of his clan with an dictator/overbearing parents and Amy is a running and hiding to safety with the helps of his brother going to the cabin in the mountain while driving there she had an accident when her car fell on the side of the mountain and with the help of Ryan she is safe but got an amnesia but at the back of her mind someone telling her to run and hide..bits by bits her memory returns but still a lot is missing,a lot of question but from all of that she found love,she found her forever and they well find all the answer together

This story sure had me hooked right from the beginning. Ryan, a wolf shifter, is not happy with the way the old ones are running the pack and sending it to disappear. One day, running as a wolf, he comes across an accident where he finds Amy, and gets her out of the car before it blows up. Major decisions are upon him now that he has found his mate. His sister is banished and she supports Ryan and Amy. So many surprises and twists, like who owned the house in the past. The characters work through amnesia and the telling about shifters. Loved the storyline and how it flowed to a wonderful ending. Can not wait to read the next book. Well done.

Amy’s running, someone wants her dead, evidenced by her car accident on a lonely road in the wee hours. Ryan rushes Amy to safety just as her car explodes. Afraid, Amy only remembers her name but begs not to go to the hospital.

We have a story of a clan that is disappearing and some that for some reason turn into killers. Ryan has had nightmares for years and is trying to save the wolves that turned wrong. The council is not wanting anything to do with them. His father is angry that he sees them. Amy is on the run and does not know who she is. Ran tries to help, but feelings develop. Can he tell her the truth? Will Am ever get her memory back? What will Amy do if she finds out the truth? I do wish we would of learned a little more of why she is on the run. The story really never says.

I normally love books by this author but this one left me feeling there were more questions than answers in Ryan and Amy's love story. The romance was nice and I liked the characters but the author never explained what had happened to Ryan, the reason he was considered damaged and lost favour with the pack.
They met when he rescued her but we never found out who had rigged her breaks or why her brother didn't look for her? That said I liked other parts of the story and hopefully, all my questions will be answered in the next book in the series.
On the plus side, I did enjoy the romance and thought these two were perfect for each other.

This book is amazing and a wonderful start to what promises to be a great new series by Serena! Amaliya is on the run for her safety but an accident will leave her in danger with no memory. The stories begins as a mystery with one of the main characters leaving a motel and making sure she has not been followed and hiding from a mysterious person having a fatal accident and is rescued. The second main character is Ryan a wolf shifter out for a run and discovers the accident and rescued the main character. The main character has lost her memory but only remembers she is supposed to hide. Later bits and pieces of her memory return and someone comes to see her that explains it all. There are still a lot of questions and the story and on a cliffhanger .The book is a truly good read but leaves un answered questions.

She does not remember anything. Who is out to hurt her? He wants to protect her, his family does not want him to do anything for her. What to do? Will he stick with her? Will she get her memory back? Amaliya is on the run she was on her way to a cabin when her brakes failed and she had an accident, Ryan a wolf shifter hears the crash and gets the woman out in case the car explodes Amaliya tells Ryan that her name is Amy then she passes out. When Amaliya wakes up she has no memory but she thinks that her name is Amy and she has a feeling that her life is in danger. There is so much more going on in this story but there are some questions that need to be answered so I hope that they are in the next book.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Serena Meadows opens her new Lumberjack Wolves series with Rescued by the Damaged Wolf. Amaliya is running from danger and loses her memory in an accident. Ryan is trying to decide what he really wants when he discovers Amaliya's mangled car and saves her life. Wolves and humans are forbidden to intermingle. Will Ryan be able to walk away from a woman who has no memories or will he choose to help her make new ones. A great read that shows promise for an adventurous new series. This is a Mature Readers Only Read.

When Ryan rescues a woman from a car accident ready to catch fire he does not know what to do when she has no memory of who she is. But when she tells him someone tried to kill her he swears to keep her safe. But he has to keep her safe from his others like him as well. When they fall in love and he has no choice but to tell Amy his secret he is afraid she will run away in terror. This was a really good story that I look forward to reading more in the series from the author.

The place is in the mountains, as she's going down the steep incline she finds her brakes are gone. Ryan hears the crash and rescues her. The automobile explodes and rescues her but she's hit her headand can't even remember who she is. They are attracted to each other but he's a shifter. There are lots of questions left about what is going on in the clan. Interesting storyline and characters.

Amaliya was running for her life going to a cabin only her brother knew, was in an accident before she got there. Ryan was out as a wolf and heard her yell then smelled the gas, he got her out of the car before in blew up. She couldn’t remember about her life before the accident or why she was there.. Her brother showed up and she remembered everything but she loved Ryan and made their life together. Great book Serena Meadows! Have read and loved her books!

Rescued By The Damaged Wolf: (Lumberjack Wolves) by Serena Meadows is a pleasure to read and give my honest opinion on. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a a brand new series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters and paranormal romance.

This was a sweet paranormal novella with a side of vague danger, clan politics, secrecy, and amnesia. Amalyia is in a car accident and loses her memory. Ryan is a wolf shifter who comes upon the accident and rescues Amy before the car explodes. Despite having no memory of her past, strong feelings develop between Ryan and Amy. While short, the story was well written and the characters were fairly well developed. I plan to continue to read this series.
