Wasted my time with this one.

The POVs were not named, there was over description of things that didn't matter, the characters weren't as developed.

I couldn't feel their connection at all, one long conversation can't end up with a HEA can it?

There's no enemies to lovers if they didn't even have a full blown fight. The title is misleading.

Should have just slept early last night instead.

A quick short novella to read. Richard White doesn't feel like he fits in the billionaires' circles, feeling lost & lonely until he chastises Jenny for being late to work so often. She hates him to the core until he takes her out for a drink after a late night of working. He throws her into a loop by opening up his private life, giving her an insight that he was bounced around from foster home to foster home, inherited his grandmother's money then when he was of age, he blew most of it & then worked his way back up to billionaire status, thinking that was the path to truth happiness & being accepted. After opening up to her, he gives her a gentle kiss. Leave it to Jenny to give him a piece of her mind instead of melting into the impromptu kiss. By morning, they each apologize for the attitude. They realize what they've been missing is someone who cared for them in return. They work together in using his money & distributing his pricey possessions to organizations who would benefit, making the world a better place to live in for the unfortunate people.

A novella that turned out okay. I felt it was rushed & I would have liked to see more interaction between them both at work & outside of work. The latter pages say what they have been doing to change the world but very little else on character development. How did his staff react when he started dating one of his employees, who hated each other & then seeing them spending more time together?

I volunteered to read this novel & this is my honest review.

Not sure if the title fits the book. In a nutshell; Jenny worked for Me. White (Richard). Jenny had issues with how the wealthy lived their lives as opposed to how regular everyday people lived.

Jenny lacked motivation, hated her job but took initiative to do better for herself, she had the mentality of a person who felt the rich and wealthy owed her.

Richard was a Billionaire but didn't fit in with the wealthy because he came from a childhood of Foster Care and since his grandmother left him alot of money in a Trust Fund; he used that money when he came of age to travel the world but all the money in the world still made him feel like he was missing something.

Although I felt that Jenny came off brash and entitled towards Richard because of his wealth; through her eyes he understood how the world worked for those who aren't apart of the upper echelon and began to work towards helping others.

Through their differences they found a common ground that turned into mutual love and respect.

The title of this book didn’t fit at all. Both characters were more endearing at the end of the book. But the characters are not well developed and also their chemistry lacking. Part of their stories is missing. It rushed and would better to read more interaction between them both at work & outside of work. He understood how the world worked for those who are his class with her help he began to work towards helping others. Through their differences they found a common ground that turned into mutual love and respect. This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy.

I didn't really enjoy this short story. The story focused a lot on social issues and less on developing the characters and the first few chapters Jenny was very despondent and lacklustre. I only got into the story during the last 2 chapters, I skimmed through most of the blurb. I wasn't overly fond of Richard either, though both characters were more endearing at the end of the book.

I received a complimentary copy of the book and am giving my honest review. A quick read that has office romance. It's fast paced with both points of view even if it takes a moment to figure out which is which. It says enemies to lovers but it didn't quite feel like that, more the employee/employer romance.

The title didnt really fir and the characters didnt develop well for me.
Its a nice quick short story that can be done in a lunch break at work, but honestly not really worth the time.

If you want a liberal view of society’s issues and how a billionaire can fix them, then this is the book for you. There wasn’t much chemistry between the characters. There was a lot of discussion of what’s wrong with the world.
