“This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah [, YHWH ] says: ‘ . . . Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, nor will they come up into the heart.’” —Isaiah 65:13, 17; also see 2 Peter 3:13.

The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1884 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. It is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to support their worldwide work, which includes publishing Bibles and Bible-based literature.
According to its charter, the corporation’s purposes are “religious, educational, and charitable,” in particular, to “preach and teach the gospel of God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus.” Membership in the corporation is by invitation only and is not based on how much a person has donated. The corporation members and directors assist the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
I began reading the scriptures years ago, but I have not actually read the Bible from cover to cover. This year I have made it my mission to go through the Bible cover to cover at least once in my life. As of the time of this writing, I'm about 30% through the Scriptures. I read 2 to 3 chapters per day and hope to have my reading completed within about a year. I'm using an Android application called Personal Bible Trainer from a developer called pixelsoft. Regarding the book, I find the New World Translation Study Edition to be one of the easiest to read and understand. I particularly enjoy the fact that the Bible is also available online and with audio for free at JW.ORG. I find it extremely easy to read with the audio dictation. Many of the names and locations I know I would mispronounce. Therefore, it is refreshing to hear these names and locations accurately read so that I can gain the full understanding during my reading journey. I would certainly recommend this translation to anyone who has a desire to read the Bible on their own. It is translated using modern English and uses the Almighty's name Jehovah wherever the Tetragrammaton was found in the text. I've noticed throughout my lifetime that many people have opinions on what they think the Bible says although they have never actually opened the book themselves. I did not want to be one of these individuals. You can find the online version here: https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlsh...
Having studied the Bible and Jehovah's Witnesses publications, I can attest that this Bible is 62 percent accurate and is applied minus one trillion points accurately by the organisation.
