This book is large at almost 500 pages, but I still wanted more. I've been spoiled by Zillow and I expect to see houses from many different angles. Show me the candy colored toilet! Show me the kitchen sink! I need to see the details!Unfortunately Bradbury didn't deliver the Zillow experience. The pictures are mostly of the front only and a large portion of them are in black and white. There are only a few houses that have more than one picture, and that was disappointing. A listing of mid century modern houses from the Americas to Asia to Europe and Africa are all included. Each house has a brief summary of the house, including who the architect was and who the house was built for. A timeline lines up all the houses to conclude the collection. A status list has a simple to understand key with conditions, use and status of each house. The conditions range from Good to Demolished. Use is defined as Original or Adapted and more. Status includes Heritage Listed or Scheduled for Demolition. All in all it is a decent collection of mid century modern houses but I really wanted more pictures of the houses.
