The shifter world is running out of time…and so am I.
Maxim Thorn is a dangerous—even deadly—man who betrayed my trust and the love growing between us. But compared to his brother, Bane, my alpha kingpin is a freaking teddy bear.
Bane is pure evil and out of what’s left of his mind. And now, I’m his captive.
It’s looking like there’s no way out when an unlikely ally emerges, promising to help me subvert the dark prophecy that has me in its crosshairs.
All I’ll have to sacrifice is a piece of my soul and the man who would have been my fated mate…
But can I doom the person I still love to an eternity of suffering, even to rise as queen? Or can I find another way to stop his brother before it’s too late?
*This is book three in a quartet. It ends in a cliffhanger.*
I was thrilled when I got an ARC of this book. I got completely wrapped up in the first two books in this series and I thought this one was going to wrap up Maxim and Willow’s story, but holy cliffhanger there’s one more book! This book picks up with Willow and Diana running from Maxim’s pack but their escape is short lived. When they find themselves captured things turn from bad to worse with more lies and double crossing. With the way this story ends I will be anxiously awaiting the final book.
And girl power. And the prophecy becoming clearer. The traitors revealing themselves. The good guys shining. And all this with Willow and Maxim at the heart of it all. I felt this instalment was full tilt, all the time. Running and evading. Eluding and outsmarting. Willow, Diana and Maxim had to be more cunning than ever as they were pushed to their limits over and over. The twists and turns were plenty and the emotion was on overdrive in my favourite instalment (so far)!
This series is getting better and better – and it’s not over! ARGH!! I’m not sure if I was so happy when I realized another devastating cliffhanger but you know… One more book to savour Willow and Maxim and find out what happens to Diana and the pack! ~Diane, 5 stars
Forgiveness, redemption, and love. Willow’s sister Kelly is not who she seems and her mate Bane is even worse. I’m glad Willow and Maxim got back together even though it felt rushed. Excited to see where else this prophecy takes them and who will prevail.

Wolf Queen is the third book in the Wolves of New York series by Bella Jacobs. You can not read these books as standalone. We were left on an epic cliffhanger with Wolf Pawn so I was excited that we didn’t have to wait long for this one.
Maxim broke them. Broke the trust they were building. In an epic way. In a way she may never forgive. Willow wanted out. She needed out. Except, she goes from one man who betrayed her to a man who could ruin her. A man who wanted what he brother had…to be Alpha. To be king of all sides. Human Side included. And he needed her. And he had her.
Maxim and Willow have a complicated, intense, and beautiful relationship all at the same time. Willow didn’t want to need him. She didn’t want to want him. But, right now, they needed to each other to go up against Bane. He took Willow and it was time for them to kick some ass and take names to save his pack and everyone else. It was about them right now. It was about survival. Will their connection be enough?
This series is full of action, intensity, and sexiness. I read each book in one sitting and I need Wolf Mate now!
Quotes:
“Can we stop for beef jerky and grape sodas, already? Only a bunch of real dicks would take people on a road trip without snacks.”
I realize I’m thinking like a queen—and a mad one, at that, considering my current situation—but I don’t care.
“I’m going to kill him. When it’s time, I want to do it. I call dibs.”
Ummm what the fuck?? The first book started out good but then it all went to shit. Like seriously??? The so called hero terrifies the heroine and drugs her to sexually assault her inorder to get her pregnant. Then plans to lock her up until she gives birth to fulfill some fucked up prophecy. Seriously what the actual fuck??? Then the "hero" get kidnapped and tortured for a day, just a day, he starts Whimpering and bawling like a baby. The heroine saves him and now he is desperately in love with her, so is the heroine!Again wtf!!! Then they have sex. 😂😂😂😂😂
Better than the first 2. Willow runs away. Gets kidnapped by maxims brother and her sister. Finds out that bane is evilllll and so is her sister. Finds out their plans. Finds maxim has been kidnapped and tortured too. Managed to escape with him but has to leave Diana behind. Runs away and forgives each other. Book ends with bame having found them

I'm listening to this series on an app called "Tempt." You must read the series in order, every book has a cliffhanger for the next installment. The series as a whole is a bit generic, entertaining, but not very memorable. I'm invested in the story now though so I will see it through.
The PNR genre is what I cut my romantic reading teeth on but I’ve strayed away from it into contemporary romance and romantic suspense for many years now. There are a few crafty wordsmiths who can tempt me into other genres because their writing is consistently terrific. This is one such lady, and now I find myself desperate for more of this book world.
Although I missed the first two books in this series and the story builds from one to the next, I really wasn’t lost while reading this one. I’m certain, however, had I read the first two it would have made this one even more compelling and riveting, and I’ll definitely go back and read them at the first opportunity.
Willow is the fated mate of Maxim, their wolf pack’s alpha. It’s a role that should have gone to Maxim's older brother, Bane, until Bane went off the rails and left the pack. Maxim may be top dog, but when he betrays Willow, she carefully constructs a plan to sneak away from the pack. It seems like a good plan, until Willow finds she's run from the frying pan directly into the fire.
This one kept me on the edge of my seat, reading at lightening speed to find out what happened next. I quickly became invested in these characters, feeling the vast array of emotions alongside them. Even if this isn’t your preferred genre, I urge you to check out this series. You'll be hooked from the first page and won’t want to miss this fascinating, fast-paced, phenomenal read!
Willow and Maxim’s story just keeps getting better and better
I loved, loved this third part of Maxim and Willow’s fated mates, wolf pack shifter romance with a side of crazy prophecy. This book is part three of a quartet and ends on a cliffhanger. As long as you are aware of that you’ll enjoy the continuation of the story. The story starts right where Wolf Pawn left off. Maxim and Willow learn more about what they are up against and the steps their enemies are willing to take to fulfill the prophecy and their level of crazy. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, exciting action, danger, strong friendships, painful pasts, mystery, evil actors, plot twists, imperfect characters, mystical prophecies, and even a few chuckles. The book is well written, with witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. I am usually not reader of books that end on a cliffhanger but this series is too good to pass up. Onto the book 4 and the conclusion.
**Audio Review** Wolf Queen by Bella Jacobs is the third book in the Wolves of New York Quartet, and this wild, intense ride picks up right where Wolf Pawn left off. The plot thickens even more when upon Willow's escape from Maxim she is kidnapped and learns there are many more dark dangerous plans in store for her. Maxim struggles with his own terrors and is injured badly. Willow can sense danger, and when she stumbles upon Maxim in distress, they realize their fated mate bond needs to be stronger than ever.
Lili Valente and Jason Clarke narrate the audiobook, and both continue to bring heat and passion with their performances. Lili's ability to capture Willow's strength and wit was spot on, and had me cheering for her to find a way to get back to Maxim! Jason shows a softer, vulnerable side to Maxim in his performance that will make your heart melt.
I'm looking forward to the epic conclusion in Wolf Mate!
I was honoured to get an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
This is supposed to be book 3/3 which you need to read in order. However the author couldn’t finish this book satisfactorily so she is giving us a forth book. Normally by this point I'd be looking at the books and thinking, were there any parts that could have been missed out as it wasn't truly needed in the book or was it repeated - the answer is no so I'm glad there will be a 4th book. I would rather the book be finished properly then just rushed as it shows the author respects her readers.
I really enjoyed this as you have so many prophecies in this story. We also see where Bane (Maxim's brother & Kelley Willow's sister) come into this story.
You also have the super hot chemistry between Maxim & Willow which keeps bubbling like an active volcano 🌋
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
Again this book continues where the last one left off and there is a lot more action in and out of the bedroom.
Willow and Diana show resolve and strength with Maxim chasing after them, but both do not see the danger ahead of them until it is too late.
Willow learns more about the prophecy, but what is true and what is not. There are too many hidden secrets, but will Willow choose the right course of action?
Both characters have hardships, Maxim more I believe, but in the end it forces them closer and their bond strengthens.
Again the book leaves you craving for more and I cannot wait until the next book comes out, which hopefully is the end we have been waiting for.
More pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. Maxim was not likable after the events of “Wolf Pawn.” But, like Willow, my anger was quickly overshadowed by compassion and a sense of urgency as bigger events unfolded. This story is engaging with plenty of twists and turns. Yet, there is also enough steaminess to keep me interested. I’m starting to feel connected to the characters and have developed a loyalty to the ones I like. There is clearly a “good” side and a “bad” side here. Things started getting dark in the last book, but this one kicks it up by a few more notches. One of my few triggers is torture, which this book has. It was moderate, as *most* of it was vague and off the page. But for others, it may be good to be cautious.
Wolf Queen is book 3 in Bella Jacobs’ new series, A Dark Mafia Shifter Romance. Although I don’t generally read fantasy romance, Ms. Jacobs has completely won me over with Maxim and Willow’s story. Replete with scary, edge of your seat moments and hot sexy romance, I couldn’t get their story out of my mind. With Willow on the run and Maxim chasing after her, the unexpected happens. I honestly don’t want to say too much more for fear of spoiling the story. But suffice to say, Bella Jacobs continues to outdo herself with each added book in this series. I simply cannot wait to get my hands on Wolf Mate, which will be the conclusion of this truly phenomenal series.

Had a bit of insomnia so I binged through 3.5 of this 4 book series. 🤣
Ngl...the shit Maxim pulled...I would not forgive that so easily...also how am I already half way through book 4, aka the final book, and there's still not clear information about mates? Like are they always decided by horoscope/birth charts...like they mention "one true mates" and "fated mates" and yet none of the info they've given us on mates, in this world, gives us the "iykyk" vibes I'm used to with shifter "fated mates" books...
Omg I know I keep telling you how good this series is but damn every book gets better if possible he has treated her so badly since she came to him foe help and she had to tell a white lie for him to help her he dissent trust her but she makes him feel things she finds out that what her wolf powers she's a seer and then finds out that her and her estranged sister the one she hasn't seen for 8 years and maxim bro are trying to take over the packs and more but the prophecy says there will be a bad brother and a good one they both get kidnapped by there siblings maxim is locked up tortured there is so much
OHMAGOODNESS!!! These just keep getting better and better!
Bella gave us more back story for the main characters in this one, and then HOLY CRAP! Everyone’s captured. How will they escape? Do they want to escape? Will they survive???
So many mysteries are revealed in this one. We’re so close to the final showdown!
As usual, the characters are well-developed and the world-building is stellar. This is another page-turner. I cannot WAIT for the final book in the series!!!
If you like slightly dark shifter mafia books, this is totally for you.
Wolf Queen is the third book in the Wolves of New York series by Bella Jacobs. Oh man, this series is giving me heart palpitations! I’m so invested in these characters and what they are going through and what they need to do to survive. Together and apart. Willow thought the best thing for her was to run and leave Maxim behind. But she was wrong! Maxim knew what he did was unforgivable, but he's not going to stop asking for her forgiveness. Now what? Are they finally going to work together? I can't even say anything else, just read this series! I'm waiting very impatiently for Wolf Mate!!
The first and second book sucked me into the story and wanted to keep reading. This one is still good but is not near as a pulling me into the story as the first 2. I personally don’t mind but If one doesn’t like curse words or sexual stuff then this probably wont be for you. I will start last book because i want to know how it ends. I do like how the main character is curvy not a thin bombshell like most stories, she has her own problems from before meeting maxim and same with him,Curvy average girl catches eye of the hot alpha.
This is the third book of this I can't say Trilogy cuz it's four books Queen wolf this Saga is very entertaining Queen wolf you learn more backstory about these two brothers and even some about the sisters I don't want to tell you a whole lot just that you learn more and this one of course ends on a cliffhanger they all do of course I'm going into the last book now with some wolfmate which is the next one so I get to find out how it ends which I'm excited to find out because it's been a very very good story
Willow & Diana escape from the North Star Tower & are found by Kelly & Bane. They explain their plan for the prophecy in hopes of winning over Willow & Diana. But Willow is skeptical of Kelly & Bane has turned evil. As Maxim & his enforcers follow Willow & Diana’s trail, Maxim is kidnapped & tortured. Bane makes a deal with Maxim to keep Willow safe. While walking in the woods, Willow catches Maxim’s scent, finds him, frees him & they escape together. The book ends on a major cliffhanger as Bane finds Willow & Maxim.

I don't even know where to begin! This series, which happens to be very far outside my usual reading preferences, just keeps getting better and better! I am rooting so hard for Maxim and Willow but the deck seems totally stacked against them! Every time they take a step forward, they have to take 3 steps back. I read this book in one sitting. I could not put it down. Warning, it ends in a cliffhanger but the 4th book is coming soon!
Still loving but no sign of dark mafia here either
Woah! What a way to end this one, yikes!!!
This has been such an up and down roller coaster ride with unexpected twists and turns. It’s addictive!
I’m torn, I’m starting book 4, the final book and am truly sad that this is coming to an end. I’m not ready for it. I love these characters and don’t want it to end.
Highly recommend for shifter lovers but this is not a dark mafia book. Title is confusing.
Book three picked up more pace. So far, my favorite out of the series.
Maxim, the tough ever ruling Alpha vs. Willow, the strong-willed Alpha female. Both with their own ideas of how to take charge of the shifter future. Both get kidnapped, and both find out secrets of the brother and sister. This book ends on a cliffhanger, making you want to read book 4 in the series to know the outcome of the Shifter world and Maxim and Willow's relationship.
I love this series !!! Couldn’t stop reading!! Read three of the books in a day/night!! Started on #4!!! You will love the intrigue, the surprises and the true grit of Willow!! The characters are well developed and some of the baddies are a big surprise. At least they were to me.
I flew through this book, unable to stop reading and thoroughly pulled into the story. Willow and Maxim’s story continues with unexpected twists and turns. This book ends on a cliffhanger and should be read when you have time to dive into the final book as well. Happy reading!
