This book along with the last book could have been just one book. well in this readers opinion at least ..........Freedom wasn’t so free and she was incredibly annoying. Brody was better at excepting his feelings........ Their story while it had a good plot it wasn’t executed very well.............. they just aren't as engaging. I just feel the main characters were more about setting up for the next sibling drama for future books.......... I liked Brody's character better.......but freedom was still monotonous and annoying..................The repeating of the facts 'It was only supposed to be a one-night stand, which turned into two, then three, etc' ............. They spoiled each other for anyone else. Misunderstandings and assumptions aren’t good if you want to be in a relationship............... It took them a long time to realize this,......... Brody and Freedom seem to have no communication or trust built even from the previous book......... When you can’t stop thinking about someone, obviously there’s something there worth exploring. Lots of drama in this conclusion. Read this by mainly skimming thru it also .......................................................again this one was a bit disappointing as well ..... another wasted book filling space and sharing sexual encounters ....Freedom who is still a pain in the rear end ... and Brody is a man who can't take action .. even tho all he thinks about is freedom.....her character makes you dislike her because she comes off as so superior........ again not much in this book touched upon how she was connected with Cain ???
Hooking up every time they see one another when both people declare "I only do one night stands" That’s how Brody & Freedom are written and do from the first time they meet. They try to stay away from each other because it’s for the best.... seriously ?? more skim reading with this book as well......... This reader is sadly disappointed with this book also .....
Brody and Freedom are great characters with intense chemistry and plenty of drama. Please note this is part of a duet so you may want to read book 6 first. This is a fast-paced read with great characters, lots of twists and turns and plenty of heat. I really liked it.
Loved this story of Brody and Freedom and how we got insight into Eoin and Alec from Brody’s perspective was quite enlightening but also gave a more well-rounded/padded story essentially😁
When we met Freedom in the previous book I was under the impression that her and her sister Aline ended up overseas because she was the one who pursued it…..only to find out I was completely wrong, which doesn’t happen often. Other than that I don’t want to give away any spoilers, suffice to say I’m loving this series and I can’t wait to find out more about these billionaire siblings😍

This is the continuing story of Freedom and Brody. They have a great chemistry but lack communication. The author does a great job building the story and pulled me in with all the suspense and mystery as well as all the misunderstandings and sizzling hot scenes. It's well written and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Ok, I wonder w why this book is written or maybe the timetable it was written. The story intermingle with books 3 and 4. So it is a lot of repeat. But let me tell you, Brody could be my permanent hook up. Wow. Freedom ends up getting the wrong blame for her families problems, which are the parentsfault. The parents need to grow up and be parents.
This is a good second half of the story and as usual its full of miscommunication on both sides. I found myself quite frustrated with Freedom and her parents who were treating her sister as though she were an incompetent child. It's definitely a family that needs counseling to learn to set boundaries and step back and let her learn how to be an adult.
The first 55% of the book was purely a flashback of Eion’s book. The remainder was so much filler that I end s up skipping many many pages. This book along with the last book could have been just one book. Freedom wasn’t so free and she was incredibly annoying. Brody was great. Their story while it had a great plot it wasn’t executed very well.
This is the second part of a saga within a series. You need to have read at least book 6 before you read this because this is a direct follow on.
My review of book 6 ‘Single Malt’ was one of confusion and frustration. Having read all the previous books in The Scottish Billionaire Series, it has me more than little perplexed with time lines and events that had already occurred in all the previous books. This saga runs concurrently alongside books 4 & 5, Eoin and Aline’s story… so in many way we already know what is going to happen between them.
What this saga does is explain the reasoning behind Aline’s older sister, Freedom’s decisions and her tantrums in relation to Aline’s relationship with Brody’s younger brother Eoin.
In Aline and Eoin’s saga you don’t know what has been going on with Brody both prior to the kidnapping and after they all return from Their fated trip to Iran. Now that I have read this book I completely understand Freedom’s reaction to her sisters shock relationship with her knight-in-combat-armour. Imagine her horror when she not only discovers that her fragile little sister that she has been sworn to protect since birth has given her virginity to the soldier that saves her from her kidnappers… but that he’s the brother of the man she’s been having hot and steamy sex sessions with for nearly a year. It’s seriously messed up… and that’s how Freedom feels. Messed up.
I still feel sorry for Brody… he’s literally the nicest, sweetest, most thoughtful guy (and not to mention - the most delicious, handsome, absolute sex god between the sheets!). Freedom and Brody have so many hang ups about commitment and labelling their relationship that they fight against every feeling they have for each other.
Frustrating… too bloomin’ right it is!
By the end of the story though, I totally get Freedom’s annoyance. She’s given up her whole life, at the bequest of her parents - to take care and protect her younger, smart but delicate sister… which she’s done for 22 years - without question. When her sister makes her own decisions about the direction she wants her life to go, instead of letting her go d allowing her to make mistakes, Freedom still tries to maintain control. So, when Aline rebels, it is still seen, by their overbearing yet absent parents, to be Freedom’s fault. I’d be pretty peeved too if every decision is made was to please everyone else, only to have thrown back in your face.
I guess that’s why I can honestly say that by the end of this book, I finally find myself liking Freedom… and I am still 100% in love with Brody McCrae. He’s just beautiful and even when he knows that his actions may have her slamming the door in his face for good… he still clings on to the hope that she will forgive him.
Great book… it’s a definite page turner as I read it in a single day. Could not put it down once the story unfolded. I especially loved the epilogue!!
Hoping to get to meet even more of our favourite Scottish Billionaire’s in a few more books.
This series is fabulous and the conclusion to Brody and Freedom’s story did not disappoint. It was so well written, so well thought out, and totally captivating. Once you pick up the next book along, it adds more padding to Alec’s original story. You find yourself immersed in their world, not wanting to escape. Every new relative fills in missing pieces, adding even more depth and insight into that original story. But each relative has their own life, their own goals and ambitions. Comments that will have been made in passing are thoroughly out on display, warts and all with all the angst that would have been glossed over during a previous book. The padding out of the McRae family is fascinating and not to be missed. I’m always slightly disappointed when I’ve finished another relative because I’m so impatient to find out who’s next? What glib comment will have a whole new meaning added to it? Ooh, more breadcrumbs etc. etc. What’s really going on with...? I am really hoping that the whole family each get their own turn. This family’s love and loyalty towards each other is a pleasure to read about, with explosive chemistry between the key players every time. As a side note, Brody’s conversation with his niece at the zoo about ‘language’ shall we say, was probably one of the most entertaining of Evanne’s antics to date. From the mouth of babes ;-) Brilliant as usual.

Part two of Brody and Freedom's story continues as they have more unexpected hookups. The closer they become the more they deny their feelings for one another, but whenever they are a part they cannot stop thinking about each other. They try more than once to break it off, but end up back together. If you have read Eoin and Aline's story a good portion of the story line was similar as Aline and Freedom were sisters and the story has been told from each one's view point, so those sections get a little redundant, but they are standalone books for a reason. Brody and Freedom had been together almost a year off and on, they were both ready to go to the next level when Brody thought he saw a man walking away from where he thought Freedom was, but it was not Freedom. Brody broke it off with Freedom once again, then he found out later it had been another woman. He was crushed, would Freedom forgive once again. Neither one thought they ever wanted to be part of a couple, but things changed for them. Enjoy this wonderful story as Brody and Freedom search for their happily ever after.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! This is book seven of The Scottish Billionaires series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. The conclusion of Brody and Freedom’s story finally.. much awaited and it didn’t disappoint. Communication is key to any relationship and to make it an amazing relationship two people have to agree to disagree and discuss all misunderstands. However, the chemistry and magnetic pull kept the two of the together and fate forced them out of their comfort zones but is it enough to lead to happiness?
So this review is for both books for Brody and Freedom.... Single Malt and Perfect Blend. There may be some minor spoilers but nothing earth shattering really. Just my take on the overall books mostly.
Ok, so first the sex scenes were hot. Hands down better than Eoin and Aline.
Overall, the characters were ok. -Freedom was a firecracker who didn't take crap from people which was nice but at the same time, she let others dictate her path in life (always looking after Aline and not out for herself) so it almost conflicted with the firecracker within her. It was like she became dependent on Aline with a cover of "protecting" her. -Brody was good too. But their miscommunications and all the background story was a bit repetitive from other books and just seem to drag out a bit too much for my preference.
Some books I can't out down because I just wanna know what happens but this duet didn't give me that same feeling.
Denial is the word of the day. For Freedom and Brody there is a lot of denial and misunderstandings happening. And that element of "I want more but I'm scared of messing what we have if anything is said about it". So it certainly helps with good heated moments.
I was a bit disappointed that when getting to the second part of the duet, there was still so much of the story focused on outside interactions and Freedom's internal over analyzations. I wanted the interactions between her and Brody to be more than sex. They were still great! They still got to be comfortable in each others company and get attached over moments in time. But I needed more focused on them as a possible couple. More time spent together outside of a bedroom. Details on that, would have grabbed me through every page.
This is the second book on Brody and Freedom's romance, (so read the other one first), I enjoyed how this book is entwined with Eoin and Aline's (but you probably wouldn't have to read their romance to get these books, although it might enrich it for you). Fate seems to keep putting Brody and Freedom together, with more crossing of paths, but will they keep resisting what fate has in store for them? I liked how it all played out for them, although I think I liked Brody more than Freedom (for she sometimes was a bit frustrating and a bit controlling of things), but that been said they both were fairly easy to like (and not so bad that I ended up disliking them). I wonder who is next in this huge mixed family (which I am growing to love more with each book)?

M S Parker left us hanging with Freedom and Brody at a crossroads… would they just be a series of passionate night-calls or develop into a relationship OR.. would they constantly remain at cross purposes with one misunderstanding after another? A kidnapping for ransom, a brother goes for a rescue, (another Duet Story.. Aline & Eoin), will these two independent people realize that they are really in love and build a life together…?
With witty dialogue, a slew of supporting and unwitting characters, MS Parker sets out to take us on the journey to will they are won’t they? Can Freedom remain independent and build a real relationship with Brody. Can Brody find a HEA that his father found not once, but twice? Read on…. You don’t want to miss out! Enjoy!
They try to kepp distance from each other. But they are pulled together, even they don’t want to. They can’t resist! And something that seem to be only lust for this 2 people that don’t want commitmet, prove to be real love. Because they are indeed the perfect blend.
I love their story, and the characters. Even that they annoy me sometimes - because they are oblivious about their own feelings and the feelings of the other one. And some drifts between them was caused of their own assumptions and insecurities.
And.... from the 16 siblings, who will be next???

Wow! This is a direct continuation from Single Malt. You do not need to have read all the books in this series but reading Single Malt first is a must. There is of course character overlap from other books in this series but you can get by without having read about them.
Freedom and Brody try to stay away from one another but the attraction is just too strong, as is their off-the-charts chemistry. Perfect Blend is a fitting title because the author blends the steam with the drama and offers readers just the right amount of suspense and mystery to keep them fully engaged. This book will have your full attention from the time you pick it up until you're finished with the final page.

I just couldn't stop reading because Freedom and Brody were kind of a train wreck more often than they were lovers which I found to be hilarious! Their chemistry was obviously off the charts but they just couldn't get out of their own ways to make it work until almost an entire year went by. I thought this was the best of the series so far since you managed to also blend Eion and Aline into it and even made a few references to Alec and Lumen. I love how this bizarre blended family has each other's backs. It almost goes without saying that the steamy sex between Brody and Freedom was off the charts. I almost expected him to take her to a BDSM club but I guess there's still time for that. Another home run!!!
The "boy" of this boy meets girl romance makes high end whiskey in San Ramon, California. He's 31. The "girl" is just finishing up her master's at Stanford in an unspecified field that involves a whole lot of papers plus the Russian, Greek, Persian and Arabic languages. She is 26. The romance begins with hot sex and a no strings approach from both principles and then gets complicated by relief work in Iran, kidnapping, a rescue, multiple misunderstandings, a cruise, and a complex subplot involving the woman's younger sister (the kidnap victim), one of her rescuers and a fiercely over protective family. I'm really not sure I enjoyed this story that much, but I did finish it and there was a happy ending.
What an absolutely fabulous end to Brody and Freedom's story. Brody and Freedom are so explosive....for good or bad. For good in love, the two cannot keep their hands off of each other from the moment they touch. They are so explosive, it is erotic. But yet they have so many times where if one of them just stayed and talked it out, they wouldn't have this not speaking for months. And it was done on both sides. A Comedy of Errors if you will. These 2 truly can make any scene interesting. And when you add in erotica well the book is positively flaming hot!
An absolute MUST READ! This truly is the very best end to their story and connects so many more dots too!
The McCrae men come from a big family but seem to avoid lasting entanglements. Freedom is independent and driven. She and Brody have been hooking up for a while. He is concerned with her planned to trip to Iran with her sister and they have a blow up and end it. Although, both spend their time apart thinking of the other. This is a great conclusion to Freedom and Brody's story. They have to work past all their misconceptions. They each have issues opening up and committing to love. Read this story with all its emotional ups and downs.

It was only supposed to be a one-night stand, which turned into two, then three, etc. They spoiled each other for anyone else. Misunderstandings and assumptions aren’t good if you want to be in a relationship. It took them a long time to realize this, but never admit it. Brody and Freedom seem to always be doing this. When you can’t stop thinking about someone, obviously there’s something there worth exploring. Lots of drama in this conclusion. Read this in one sitting. It was excellent! Love M.S. Parker’s writing and books. Looking forward to the next book.
This is the conclusion to Brody and Freedom's story. Brody and Freedom are still struggling with misunderstandings and wrong assumptions. Their love affair seems doomed since neither one wants a true relationship and all their encounters have basically been one night stands. Even when they start to get closer something comes up and blows everything out of the water. Freedom is so devoted to running Aline's life that she has little time for her own. Lots of vivid love scenes. My only problem was that so much had already been covered in Aline's story, only from a different point of view. Still a good book though and I enjoyed it very much.
I enjoyed this book as it is the second book about the same characters and I always want to know more about what happens to characters in books, particularly well written ones like this. You can read this book without reading the other books in The Scottish Billionaires series but you will get more out of the book if you read them in order. They are all very enjoyable and terrific sexy reads so if you enjoy one you will probably enjoy the rest.

3 1/2 Stars from me..... Even though this is the 7th book in the Scottish Billionaires series, but each of the grouping of books can be read as standalone. This is the conclusion of Brody and Freedom's story. Their relationship starts to get complicated because these two get in their own way. I sometimes struggled with their "inner turmoil", if often got a bit too much for me. But, the pace was pretty good, the steam was hot, and the characters were compelling. Overall a decent read.

Brody and Freedom - Part 2 - Still not a couple for me
Perfect Blend is the seventh book in The Scottish Billionaires series and the second part of Brody and Freedom's story. I have read and enjoyed all of the books in this series and been a fan of M.S. Parker's writing and story-telling styles but I just cannot get into this couple. The first book about Brody and Freedom, Single Malt, I did not like and Perfect Blend followed down the same path for me. With that being said I am really hoping that the next book I read by this author will once again keep me enthralled.
I love Brody, but I still don’t like Freedom. I just don’t know what it is. I loved seeing the other side of the sister duo (Aline and Freedom). After reading Aline’s story, I was soo eager for Freedom’s turn. I really really don’t line her. I can’t believe it! Lol the two are great, and I would love to read an epilogue or something that turns my viewpoint around. If you’ve read Aline’s story, don’t miss Freedoms!

Freedom and Brody finally get their acts together, at last.
When I started reading the book I thought that I had already read it as there was so much about Eoin and Aline. When the story shifts to Freedom and Brody, the impression I got is that they are rather shallow characters. Personally, I would have liked the book to explore their personalities, how they 'grow-up' as their relationship developed.
Anyway, I still enjoy MS Parker's books and look forward to the next one.

Perfect Blend delivers a heartfelt and steamy conclusion to Brody and Freedom’s story, as they grapple with life’s challenges and the question of whether their love is meant to be. With destiny throwing constant obstacles in their path, their journey is an emotional rollercoaster filled with passion, doubt, and determination.
M.S. Parker crafts a compelling tale of resilience and romance, where both characters must confront their fears and decide if love is worth fighting for. Perfect Blend is a satisfying finale to this duet, perfect for fans of emotional and steamy billionaire romances.
ARC Review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This story is about Brody MCcrea and fredom merier their year long relationship, it also has the relationship with freedom and her sister and what they go through . I found that this story has a lot of misunderstandings that could of been fixed if communication was used.. This was a awesome story of family and romance .
