Page gets to make her case before her family as to why they need to go back to the States and finish Matthias off once and for all and end his cruel tyranny. Selling them on uprooting their families and the safety they have come to know won’t be easy. In fact, it may be downright impossible.

Oh wow oh wow. This is one of those episodes I cannot tell you anything else about it heading into the review. It is one of those episodes that you are just going to have to read for yourself. If I say something like Page does this...or Miller said that-well, it will just give it all away. Just know that Page is going to do something daring, and most likely stupid. Not that she is stupid...that is just Page. She was raised this way. Protected by her brothers, but having Reagan to help balance her out in the end. We all know Reagan didn't color inside the lines, am I right? She pushed the envelope and now Page is doing the same. In her own way.

Ok, enough about the upbringing of that wonderful child turned bada**. We get some great Miller time in here (like that? or are you not old enough to know what that means?) Anyhow, like I said...lots of great Miller moments. We see a side of him that was peeking out in the last season. And it is not good. Not good for him. Not good for Page. Just no good. I am back to being scared again for him. Not of…for!

Things are about to skyrocket from here on out. We are about to see things go from comfy to nasty to evil. Oh Lordy, help this crew do what is right. Help us readers for what we are about to endure. And by all means help Higginson stay on schedule with each episode because I am sure we will be chomping at the bits if we have to miss a Parker Friday. ;) ((Love you lady, I am only teasing. Kind of. )) 5 Freakin’ Stars!

This is the third episode in the Love and Decay Revolution season! Each one gets more intense than the last!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time waiting to see what would happen next...

It immediately starts with Page's family meeting to discuss going to help the colony get rid of Matthias....bet everyone can imagine how that goes!

"I grew up watching these people save the world. I watched my brothers destroy everything that stood in their paths and Reagan and Haley fight alongside them as equals."

A group of them go to check out a problem with the local village and run into a much bigger problem. It was so great seeing Reagan back out in the action! I've missed her even though I love Page and she was total badass in this one!!

“I’ve lied to you, Page. For years. I’ve let you believe I’m a person that I’m not. I’ve let you see something inside of me that doesn’t exist."

The ending of this one made me so happy!! I love this family and how they always stick together no matter what! These boys love with everything that they are and they only wanna protect those they love no matter what, same with the girls.

I can't wait to see what happens next, Higginson has left us with a bunch of possibilities!

The journey will continue in episode 4!

In this episode we finally see Page trying to win her family over with her plan to return to America. It's a very uphill battle because there are people who get her logic and those who are fighting against it because of the risk it presents. I get where both sides are coming from on this debate and it makes for an interesting conflict in a typically tight knit family unit. Near the beginning we also get an awesome moment where Page loses her hero worship for Reagan and Haley and it really brings her character to the next level of growing up and maturing I think. She realizes that they are not actually in fact superheroes and that they are human and experience fears that sometimes they fight and get over and sometimes they let fear keep them from action. (To be fair I still think that even though they get scared they are still superheroes but I have been a huge Reagan and Haley supporter from the beginning, being scared in these situations is NORMAL! If they did not show fear it would be a disservice to their characters in my opinion.) but the discussion it raises about being blind to injustice and giving in to apathy is as relevant in current events today as it is in the zombie apocalypse.

We also get more of our favorite comedic moments to bust up the serious tone and they come from Hendrix's dry brand of humor. Haha ( anyone else dig in to these episodes just to see what snarky one-liners Hendrix comes up with?) for example in this episode he calls Reagan an vengeful she-demon and totally means it in a complimentary way. Now granted she wasn't around when he called her that (probably safest for him!) then later on Reagan relives her cheerleading days in a funny moment with Tyler and Page and Harrison. Its these little moments that come right out of nowhere but are Some of the most memorable each episode. And ones that make the discussion group buzz.

While this episode wasn't quite as intense as the previous episode (thank goodness! Because if they were all that intense I would need a psych eval) it does bring about some game changers for our favorite family. All in all I totally love this episode for all the changes it represents.

Hurray for progress in Love and Decay: Revolution! I've been a fan of Rachel Higginson's young adult zombie apocolypse novella series since day one, but I also went through a bit of a slump where I felt that it was all becoming a bit too monotonous. I was really super excited when it fast-forwarded and became centered around Page, but the first episode still felt like the exact same thing. The second episode was better than the first, and the third was even better than the second. It seems that some juicy drama is finally building for the Parkers as they seem to be finally preparing to set out for the Colony! Yes! Will I finally get the Miller/Page/Luke love triangle that I've been dying for since Page was still a six-year-old? I think so!

Another major point of interest for me throughout the duration of this series has been Miller's psyche and personal development. Since he was raised by a sadistic sociopath and was always so quiet and calculating and seemed to possibly have some warning signs of mental instability as a child, I've been so interested in the kind of man Miller would become. In this episode, part of Miller's true self surfaces and I'm very curious as to how Page will ultimately respond to it. I also think that eventually Miller may do some more soul-searching and I look forward to that in future episodes.

Come on, Parkers! Suit up and head for the Colony!

A Reading Adventure.

I have thoroughly enjoyed both series. I read them back to back. First Reagan's story which brought the Parker family in the story line. I actually did not think this author could write a second series with Page that I would enjoy more than the first, yet here I am at 1:30 AM in a work night finishing this 3rd volume with a smile in my face. There was action, adventure, love, betrayal and loss buth through out this series Page kept hope alive. The hope that people could find love and happiness again in this apocalyptic world. Miller grew from an abused, defiant 12 year old in the first series to a man who was full of his family's darkness but unlike Jane he wanted to have love and hope. Both series are excellent reading adventures full of wel written characters, the Parker family that all readers would I've to be a part of, and a story line that keeps you reading until the early morning hours. Just too goodto out down. I truly hope the author decides to allow us another Parker and Allen family book. It us hard to leave this series, as a reader you become very invested in the family. U highly recommend reading both series.l

Wooo doggie! Page Parker has found her voice - and boy does she work to use it to her advantage. Her daring, headstrong, and determined attitude allows Rachel's readers to see Page in a new light. She is no longer that protected little girl; she is a young woman with a big voice and she is on a mission. Freedom and what is right is forefront in her mind. But, for the first time, we see that Page has to swallow a dose of reality. Because of this she can finally see her family as human, faults included.

Miller Allen also has his "coming out" party so to say. We see lots of what and who he is, most of which makes me scared for him. It changes him, Page, and most likely the whole gang.

What will happen? I am not sure - but I can say that I simply cannot wait to find out!!!

I think we are all a little shaken from the last episode because that was close! I never in a million years would have thought there would be a problem in the research station. Not after so many years of them living there and staying safe. But evil has a way in...always. In Episode three Page heads out with some of the other so check out a problem with some of the locals. When they arrive the group ends up in a fight with zombies and Hank. A new side of Miller opens Page's eyes and the darkness that is surrounding the group makes everyone open their eyes to the truth. It may finally be time to head home and right the wrongs left by Matthias Allen.

Page really matures this episode i feel, she begins to argue with her family and notices the flaws in her family members. There is still intense moments in this episode but they are dialled down a bit and it is good, my heart is always pounding away reading these novellas as i always wonder what new danger Rachel Higginson will throw at us. The only thing worse than the suspense and story line Rachel manages to crank up is waiting for my next dose of this magnificent novella series i have followed every single episode and i am loving this new Revolution one just as much

This episode every two weeks crap needs to end. I NEED TO READ MORE. Bad grammar aside- Each time one comes out I drop whatever I'm currently reading and finish this in a few hours... even if I try to make it last longer by putting it down... I end up picking it back up. I wanted to wait until they were all collected into a novel.... BUT I JUST CANT.

Good storyline still. Seems a lot of focus on just Page though. It seems that there is a lot of focus on Page being clueless about the sexual tension she creates.

This series is such a quick and fantastic read!
Episode Three was exactly what I hoped: gore, humour, love and bad assery from the Parker family. I love everything about this story, it was so intense that I could not stop and read it's entirety in one go! The action was levelled out by the family discussions so it was the perfect mixture of emotions!

I really love this series. Page is grown. She will be becoming a warrior in her own right. Making a name for herself in the zombie infested world.
