When you’re a single mom, who’s your daddy? Devaney Bishop is glad to be free of her ex-husband, but juggling work and two on-the-go sons isn’t easy for anyone, and Devaney’s been struggling with debilitating health problems. Problems that culminate in a mortifying moment in front of her kids’ dreamboat doctor.
Eric Southerland is Clover City’s most well-respected pediatrician--and also the first person mommies and daddies call when their littles are injured, under the weather, or due for a very special trip to the doctor’s office. As beloved as he is, Doctor Eric hasn’t found a little he’d like to call his very own...until newly divorced Devaney Bishop falls ill in his exam room.
Devaney’s used to doing everything herself, but compulsive caretaker Eric won’t tolerate her self-destructive stubbornness. He might get his way while she’s sick, but once she’s recovered will she still want what he has to offer? And will she be able to trust him after the abandonment she’s already suffered?
Devaney’s Doctor Daddy is a standalone novel in the Clover City Littles series. It features a stressed-to-the-brink single parent who needs someone to take as good care of her as she takes of her boys, and an attentive dominant daddy who might be just what the doctor ordered.
Where do I meet a man where the only thing that grosses him out are jam hands? Then again, nurses and doctors are a special kind of person. God bless ‘em!
Dr Eric has to walk a fine line between babying Devy and remembering that she’s a parent with responsibilities and he does a great job. In fact everything that has been thrown his way has been handled with the utmost maturity and a caring nature. Even if I wish he would go off on Devi’s horrible ex.
Ok I know I said there’s nothing sexier than a man who appreciates your mind. But a man with a baby in his arms? Beware ovary explosion!
Oof, 42 and considering kids? Yeah, it’s not unheard of but so many possible complications. Again I’ll tell myself that this is fiction so don’t worry about it, but still …
I feel really weird saying this but that’s by far the most cathartic spanking I’ve ever experienced.
I’ve been looking forward to Dr Eric’s book for a while and while I wasn’t disappointed it wasn’t the best doctor daddy Dom I’ve read. That award still belongs to Doctor Daddy by Morganna Williams.
But that doesn’t take away from the fact that Eric is one of the best daddies I’ve read. See Dr? ‘But’ isn’t always the ‘jam hands’ of the English language.
Romance genre: DDlg Series: Clover City Littles Length: 214 pages
Plot: Devaney is a recently single mom, with her ex-husband somewhat of a troublesome figure in her life. She's taken her two kids to their pediatrician, Dr. Eric, for their yearly check-ups. While there. Devaney is trying to hold on in the middle of a massive migraine, but Dr. Eric can see that she's in pain. He arranges for the kids to be picked up by their dad and he takes care of Devaney. He's always found her intriguing, but now she's single, and he intends to take care of her as much as she will let him. And she lets him!
Character development: I very much related to Devaney. I have frequent, intractable migraines also, and I know how debilitating they can be and it seems to those around you that it's "just a headache." ("Just take some Advil" - thanks, I didn't think of that :eyeroll:). Her husband was awful, treating her like she was making up her pain, and even worse, teaching her son to treat her that way also. Eric was the perfect antidote to that, so it's easy to see why she fell so fast for him. Not only did he believe her, he took care of her and went the extra mile to help her figure out exactly what was going on. And he was a good role model for her kids - now they can see how a real man would act, actually taking care of things. We've seen him in all of the other books in the series, so it was great to see him get his HEA as well. Although (to me) it's weird to think he would keep up the med-play even while in a serious relationship with Devaney. Their business though!
Probably one of the sweetest books in this series, it was heartwarming & easy to read 🥰
I love how that in each book the couples/relationships are different .. We have all kinds of Daddies & littles/middles , each couple with their unique personalities, strengths, weaknesses, different tastes & needs and how each have their own dynamic that works for them ❤️
I liked Dr. Eric in the other books, but in this one he was beyond amazing 🫠 They way he cares about Devy & how he supports her in every way is a perfect example for what any partner should be like. I absolutely loved Devy & I could relate to her so much -I know a lot of women will do too for many different reasons- she felt so real & it made me so emotional she got her happy ending 🥹❤️
I will never stop squealing every time there's a cameo of any if the other characters, I love & enjoy these parts way too much 😄

I have such mixed feelings on this book series. I read the first one a few months ago and was super not into it except the one doctor scene for some weird reason so I read this book since it’s the same guy.
I like med play, very taboo, very kinky and fun. But I find it odd he’s going to have a girlfriend maybe even a wife and still perform it… it’s one thing when he was single but I would be so uncomfortable to be her…
I also am not super into age play, I like some aspects because of the embarrassment factor which is more like a humiliating kink that an age play thing but I digress. Point being the silly cups, young girl clothes, and cribs aren’t my style but this book was okay. It’s hard to find good med play books so if anyone has recs please lmk.
4/5 on spice. 4/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Doc needs to be more faithful IMO
Devaney's Doctor Daddy by Honey Meyer is another fabulous contribution to her Clover City Littles series and I am SO in LOVE with Devaney and Dr. Eric! (I've been excited and hoping for Eric's book since he was first mentioned, and let me tell you, I am not disappointed, in fact, any and all expectations have been exceeded by far!)
Oh dear, sweet, adorable Devaney! Devy is kind, loving, not in a great state, and just wants love and affection and reassurances, something the good doctor can absolutely provide!
Dr. Southerland, Eric, well, he can talk to me in that stern and caring tone anytime he likes! It's squirm-worthy when he says it as it is, expecting obedience, ready to reward good behavior, being utterly charming and so caring, just wanting his own slice of happiness.
I love how control is discussed in this book. Having control, the bliss that can be found in handing it over, in relinquishing it to someone that you trust, the importance of that trust going both ways, the satisfaction from being trusted with that control over someone else. It's serious moments, heartfelt moments, yet also fun and joy and pleasure and intimacy and quite simply a sheer delight!
I love how Eric knows exactly what works for him, what he wants and needs, and how he goes about ensuring Devy feels safe and comfortable with everything, even when he's pushing the envelope a bit.
This story gave me all of the FEELS and was a delightful exploration of medfet, as well as just being a truly beautiful story of love, acceptance, trust, all showcased through amazing communication and sizzling chemistry!
P. S. Braeker?! I. Am. INTRIGUED. Please tell me Brae is going to get a story?!
Devaney’s Doctor Daddy is the sixth book in Honey Meyer’s Clover City Little’s series. In this book, readers meet Devaney Norfolk Bishop and Dr. Eric Southerland. Devaney is a divorcee and mother of two young boys. She ended an abusive marriage that left her drained, weakened, and struggling to cope. Her ex-husband does everything in his power to continue to wreak havoc in her life. Readers met Dr. Eric Southerland, as a secondary character in other books in this series. Dr. Eric is a DD without an Lg however, destiny brings Devaney into his life. Will he and Devaney find happiness?
This age-play romance was a quick and pleasant read. I liked Ms. Meyer’s character-driven plot. We get to witness the healing power of love uniting Devaney and Eric. Ms. Meyer’s use of dialog was well done. Her descriptive scenes drew me into the story making it seem as if I was a first-hand witness. Well done, Ms. Meyer!
This story is about a woman with two boys who falls her her kids doctor.
This story centers around a woman named Devaney who has two sons. She is suffering from severe migraines when she is at her son’s doctor. Dr. Eric Sutherland sees patients including Devaney’s sons. She is sick in his office when he is compelled to take care of her. He begins helping her as she is suffering through a severe migraine. Eric has always been a Daddy who has been looking for his own Little to take care of. Devaney shares custody with her ex-husband who is a real jerk. She has been taking care of her sons, herself and her house. She doesn’t have anyone until Eric Sutherland comes into her life. He talks to her about being her Daddy which she comes to love. This book is sweet, a little sad and yes spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️
Honestly i havnt read any other books in this series, but that doesnt really matter i can go back and read them at leisure and i really am looking forward to these others. Devaney is a divorced women who is looking after her two sons. However she suffers from Migranes and when she takes the boys for their checkup the migrane is just to much for her. Doctor Eric is good with children, and loves his littles, so when Devaney comes in, he thinks she is a little. He likes this women and offers to help. But its hard for Devaney when her ex has always put her down. Slowly and surely she takes Eric for who he is.... her daddy. But can it last with her ex always on the side.
A solid 4 star. I loved the peek into Dr. Eric's mind. He can be a bit crass but he is funny! This one was a bit more into the drama of life and just brushed over the DDlg, med fet, and kinky scenes, just kind of skimming the surface. I really was expecting a bigger climax but it too just kind of skimmed. They move ridiculously fast (these books often do, understandably) and there were a few spots which had messy transitions, but I feel like these books get stronger as we go further into the series. I love seeing old friends and hints to new friends to come. Even if we did spend a bit too much time on Jethro and Sable's family life.
I absolutely loved the caring and chemistry between Eric and Devaney.
Not used to the nurturing lifestyle of DDlg, Devy is game to try being Eric's Little as she explores a new and exciting relationship. I appreciated that Devaney is not a young Little but a mature woman with a need.
Her ex has a lot to answer to with his lack of consideration and mind games but Doctor Eric is a far better proposition in the love stakes.
Their relationship is heading towards a beautiful, loving and kinky good time.
Devaney had her sons at the doctor but should have been her going to the doctors. Dr Eric realized something was wrong when she got greener in the office then threw up all over the office. Dr Eric had to also enjoy Carter (the ex-hubby) complain about actually having to act like a real parent to his 2 boys. Doctor Dom and Little hit it off. Great short read and looking forward to the next book.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
I didn't HATE it, but I didn't particularly like this one either. This story felt very forced. I didn't really believe the connection between Eric and Devaney. Being a mother is a huge part of Devaney's life yet the boys are only barely in the story. A big deal is made about how the dad has poisoned their minds but nothing is really done with that. The kink mostly felt more awkward than sexy aside from a few nice points.
Dr. Eric and Devy are a perfect pair. I loved every moment of this book. Clover city littles are amazing tales and Dr Daddy Eric finally finding his little girl is the icing.
Devy fell ill at her boys Check up for School sports. Dr. Eric steps in to take of this beautiful over stressed divorced mother of two. Could she have found the love she’s looking & has Dr. Eric not only found his little girl but family of his oen
I loved seeing Dr Eric getting his happily ever after. With the aspects of endo, and migraines Devy was the most relatable little of the bunch for me. Hope that Marni gets her little soon and I cast wait for the spinoff series
This is a very good, well written Dd/lg romance. The characters and story are well written. Every woman should have a man in her life to provide support and praise through the good times and the bad. I am looking forward reading the next story.
Another great read by this author. I loved seeing Dr. Eric finally get his Little. This book has med play along with baby age play and some steamy scenes . I honestly wish I had more. This is a standalone with a HEA
Beautiful story of a Doctor Daddy and finding his Little/Middle after looking after her when she gets a Migrain while visiting his Surgery with her two sons during a regular checkup.
As someone who has both chronic migraines & daily headaches, I could really relate to this story. Unfortunately, attitudes (and partners) like Carter are far too common.
I look forward to reading the rest of this series.
The beginning of the book was really cringy and I felt like it was kind of creepy But then once you got to like the middle of the book until the end of the book was amazing and so worth it .
This was a good read. Not my favorite DD/lg ABDL stories but it still was worth it because I love the Clover City Little's series. I just felt like this story was missing something.
