I love the humour in these books, especially the 'deadpan' style of writing. It makes everything in the story utterly believable and completely possible! 'Come with us' said the tiger chief, 'and we will teach you tiger ways.' 'Excellent!' said Daisy, following the tigers deep into the jungle.

Colourful, happy, funny pictures accompany Daisy's imaginative story. Lovely.

Not a bad little story about a little girl with vivid imagination. It takes a little more than that to get a higher rating out of my two picky kids though.

Daisy is adopted by the tigers, becomes their leader and there is an exchange of customs... or is there?

Daisy has tiger face paint, now she is a tiger. She hides under the kitchen table in the lair and fantasizes that her mum has been carried off by some angry elephants and now she has been adopted by tigers. Lets face it, this is one of the more relatable picture books. Kids play is usually more like this than magical adventures in fairyland (or is it just me?)
