Las Vegas Angels #3

One Night Puck

Trey

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Or does it?

Not when you’re the star right winger of the new, Las Vegas startup team, it doesn’t.

When my Elvis impersonator officiated, quickie wedding—to a barely legal, smokin’ hot woman goes viral—the team owners have their own solution to that problem.

And it sure isn’t an annulment.

With her name now tattooed on my ring finger, we have to find a way to make this work.

Even if it’s not for real.

Lexi

After screwing up royally on my last team, I get traded.

I promise myself I won’t mess up like that again.

I certainly won’t party so hard on my first night in Sin City that I end up marrying star right-winger, Trey Turner—known for his penchant for three in a bed.

Except when I accidentally, sort of do.

And when I realize that having his name tattooed on my ring finger might not be the worst thing I’ve ever done...

How do I hide my real feelings in our fake relationship?

This was so freaking cute!!! I loved Trey and Lexi together!

Lexi was such a fun heroine. I enjoyed watching her maneuver her way through the situation she found herself in and the resulting consequences that arose from it. Her relationship with Trey kept me engaged as I anticipated where things were going to go with them.

Trey was quite a character in the previous books of the series, but I really fell in love with him here. He’s really got a thing for Lexi and, oh my gosh, I loved the way he was obviously all in with her from their first blurry “good morning”. I adore a hero that’s all about protecting his woman, even from an unpleasant situation or language.

This starts out fast with a drunken Vegas wedding but what follows is such a unique story when compared to other books in this trope. The situation this couple finds themselves in, as well as what’s going on around them, leads to a bit of angst, lots of laugh out loud moments, and some intense steam. This ends in a whopping cliffhanger so I’m gritting my teeth in frustration until the next one comes out.

One Night Puck🏒

Trey and Lexi’s story is just beginning and oh what a story😍 Trey and Lexi awaken after a night on the town, only to discover a piece of paper declaring that they are married, along with the tattooed rings with each other’s names😱

Suffice to say, the powers that be…in this case the owners of the hockey teams - want them to stay married for appearances sake - but when you have real feelings for the other person, how will you fake it until you make it?

A wonderful romantic story with a very realistic twist❣️I look forward to finding out the conclusion to Trey and Lexi’s story. I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️

Gah!!! I need the rest! This "woke up married" story is hitting me in all the right places. Try wants to stay married and Lexi is the one that keeps bringing up getting an annulment and everyone keeps getting mad at Trey for it thinking he is the one wanting to bail! A funny thing that happen is that Lexi finds out Trey reads romance novels... and they read the same ones! These 2 don't see eye to eye on Trey's recovery from the injuries he suffered in a game the previous season, and that is where they will have their biggest obstacle. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I need the next book LIKE NOW!!!

Wow. This was short. It seemed to stop abruptly and had the weirdest story line. Guess stuff your kindle day is a little like Forrest Gump - you never know whatcha gonna get. 🤣

Lexi and Trey were so many things together. They may have acted rashly, but what if there was truly something there? And then the double blow of learning who his mom and her dad once were, and now may be again, caused a few minutes of panic for all involved. But it felt like Lexi and Trey had a shot at something real and good and lasting. As long as the truth is really the truth, and secrets don’t exist. But that’s the problem with so many things in life. Truth and secrets and lies all happen. And one person’s lies are so much bigger than the other’s that I’m not sure how they can find their way to forever together. I guess now we have to wait to see where we can possibly go from here. Because both Lexi and Trey deserve the best, but is that best attainable, or are they done before they really ever began?

This is Trey and Lexi’s story. I’d been patiently waiting to read his story since the beginning of this series and he became Gigi’s best friend. It started out as wild as expected for him, she’s a new character, also a hot hockey player. They have wonderful, really hot chemistry. It seems that after his injury he’s wanting to go back to his wild days, but meets her and a series of events happen quickly, which might interfere with their careers. Their parents also get involved, in different levels. In the end, their story is just developing, doesn’t reach a conclusion yet because of unexpected complications.

It seemed too short, nevertheless, I loved it and just wish the next book is out soon! I didn’t like Trey much in the previous books, but that definitely changed now.

"One Night Puck: Lexi and Trey Duet 1" (Las Vegas Duets Series Book 3) by Jessa York was a terrific read. I loved this first part of Lexi and Trey's story. This was a great addition to this series. This story was packed with romance, passion, humor, hockey, family, friends, and more. I'm anxious to see what happens next with these entertaining characters. Highly recommend it to all fans of romance, hockey, and series.

This book is so very good. This is Trey and Lexi’s book. We saw a lot of Trey in Beau and Gigi’s books and we also got to meet Lexi briefly. Trey and Lexi have a ton of chemistry and are very cute together. Their story will have you cheering for them to make things work after they rush off and get married after just meeting. Trey is really still struggling after the accident he was in during the last book. We are left wondering what will happen to his job as a hockey player and will his struggles cause his marriage to end before it really has a chance to get started. I can’t wait for their next book to see what happens next. I will keep rooting for them.

I love part one of Lexi and Trey's story! Their story starts after a weekend in Vegas. We all know what frequently happens there. These two have an intense connection and I don't think being apart was ever really an option for them. I love that they are honest about their feelings pretty quickly and we get time with them as a couple. I love the parents story, too. I laughed so hard at the prank the parents played. Well done, Jessa and ew!
The book does end on a cliffhanger and it's a big one. Trey hit a deal breaker for Lexi. I really wish she had told him why. I'm sure we'll get there. Really awesome read. Can't wait for book two! I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

Trey and Lexi have a one night no 2 night stand. Does a Vegas wedding turn into a mistake or not. Then add the parents, their teams and lots of fans of the reality show. this book is great from beginning to the SUSPENSEFUL end. Will a lie tear them apart? Cannot wait to see what happens with Trey and Lexy. Also love his little book secret.

not a complete book

Got this because the author’s write up said it was a stand alone book. All lies. IT’S NOT A COMPLETE STORY. This is only part one of who knows how many. Author is added to my banned lying author list.

Didn't read it

Found out it was a cliffhanger book. I am so not a fan of those types of books. The author needs to give a warning to those of us who hate cliffhangers.

Omg I absolutely loved this book. Trey and Lexi met a sparked flew. Woke up married to each other and both there teams weren't to happy about it and of course the owners want them to stay together. It's an absolute must read and can't wait for the conclusion

.5 stars rounded up to 1.

First off I hate books that end in cliffhangers and make you read a second book to finish the romance. This book was less than 200 pages long, the author could have easily made two books into one. This book was not advertised as its own duolgy within the series. So that right there ticks me off enough as it is.

Second i could only get through 10 pages of this book before i couldn’t tolerate it anymore. I have NEVER stopped reading a book this quickly before. But the first 10 pages showed me exactly how this was going to go and i had no interest in it. It was just all over the place. The characters would go from “omg no we can’t be married” to “i took a shower and walked into a room wrapped in a towel, and my tits look amazing wrapped in a towel” to “well we are already married so we might as well make the most of it for a couple of days and have lots of sex” to “omg my dad is going to kill me” to “i can’t believe i married my pro hockey crush!” And well you get the picture.

I am all for giving unknown authors a chance. I have slugged through some terrible books before holding out hope that it will get better. Or buying books to finish a series because the first book “showed promise” only to find out the writing just got worse and worse as the story went on. And i just could not do it this time. I just flat put stopped and deleted it off my kindle so i can’t torment myself with it later and go “well maybe it wasn’t as bad as i remember”.

Authors PLEASE stop making smut into cliff hangers. Just write the couples dang story and move on. If you want to do series where you have the same main characters and they aren’t stand alones then get into a different genre, get a bigger and better plot, and lose the unnecessary sex. Most people do not want to read smut about the same characters over the span of multiple books. Smut is supposed to be like a one night stand. You read about the characters once and then you move on to a different set. Reading a smut series is like the one one night stand that just wouldn’t go away and you are left feeling tired and unimpressed but figure you might as well just finish it and get it over with.

I love this series and Trey and Lexi's story is perfect. Jessa has us loving and laughing at their "drunk wedding: or was it? Tattoo wedding rings and two days in a hotel room leave them with lots to remember and discuss.

Lexi is a sassy hockey player and new to the team. She grew up with a famous hockey player father and believe or not Trey Hunter posters all over her room and now she's his wife. How will her dad and the team react? Has her dreams come true or will they be crushed?

Trey never wanted to settle down and we got a glimpse of him in the first two books. He became Gigi's best friend but Gigi is also Lexi's friend. You could tell he was all I by the way he became so protective of her. Has he found his match, his soul mate? Heh as so many internal conversations about how he loves so many things about Lexi. What happens whenhis mom and her dad get involved?

Jess leaves us with a huge cliffhanger. My jaw hit the floor when I reached the end. I wanted to scream at Trey and support Lexi. Waiting for the next installment will be treacherous.

Converting Me to a Hockey Fan!!

I usually stay away from sports romances - but I can’t put down the hockey stories from author Jessa York! Of course, they are about relationships, both romantic and family.

We jump straight into action with our young couple, both on hockey teams, waking up married with tattooed names as wedding bands. Planning an annulment prior to being found out - the best laid plans are set aside as the women's hockey team is being filmed for a reality show - and social media already has the story.

Trey is recovering from a “bad check” in an earlier game. Most odds are against them. But there is a thread of caring and respect that continues to pull these two together as those around them realize there may be more here than just a night of poor judgment.

An entertaining story full of heart and hockey.

Grrrr 🤬 Cliffhanger!

Oh how I dislike cliffhangers especially when you don't previously know that it will take more than one book to finish a story. Grrrr 🤬. Lexi is dramatic. Tray is more laid back. Since he's 10 years older than Lexi, he has maturity. Or does he? The story as a whole has great potential. It flowed nicely till it didn't when they agreed to keep things platonic in private and play the image of a happy couple in front of the cameras. You think everything is crashing when Lexi's dad and Tray's mom drop a huge surprise. But the real bomb is how the book ends with Lexi's and Tray's love exploding. Yes ..que..... cliffhanger. If it would have just played out around the 70% point like a one book story does and simply finish the story, overall I would have given this one 3.5 ✨✨. It wasn't a page turner, super steamy, or riveting, so I won't get the next book to see how this ends. 🧐

One Night Puck (Las Vegas Angels #3) by Jessa York is a contemporary, age-gap, waking-up-married-in-Vegas, sports romance told in first person, dual POV (with one chapter in a third POV). It’s the third book in the Las Vegas Angels series and the first half of a duet, so it ends with a cliffhanger.

If you’ve read the previous books, you’ve already met injured playboy hockey star Trey and gotten a glimpse of wild child Lexi, the daughter of a famous hockey star and the newest addition to the female team. One Night Puck explores how Trey and Lexi’s relationship develops after getting married in Vegas.

I loved Trey and Lexi’s story! Having read the previous books, I was looking forward to it, and One Night Puck did not disappoint. Lexi and Trey are likable, well-developed characters, with tons of chemistry. Their meet cute and subsequent wedding was so much fun to read, and together they’re such a sweet couple—but they both have secrets. In the end, these secrets cause their relationship to fall apart. I’m not sure how they're going to resolve everything, but I’m looking forward to finding out in Pucked Up and Married, the second half of the duet.

Waking up hungover and married in Vegas is not what professional hockey players Trey and Lexi wanted from their weekend but that's what they are dealing with. Getting a divorce is the top priority but their team owners have a different plan. They of course drummed up a lot of media coverage and a happy relationship is just the good publicity their respective teams need. Since they can't seem to keep their hands off each other being married a little longer isn't too tough an idea. But Trey has a secret that if Lexi finds out will ruin any chance they have at happiness. Cute story, I'd be interested in seeing where it goes from here.

One Night Puck

Lexi and Trey's story. This is just their beginning but it is already an amazing story.

After waking up after a night in town, they discover that with only a piece of paper that

They are married. With an additional tattooed rings and each other's names. (ohhhh how cute)

I love that it has the same kind of spin like with Beau and Gigi, the owners of the hockey teams

want them to stay married for appearances. How do you fake something that is actually there?

A sweet and romantic story which can actually happen if you ask me.

I so want part 2. Lexi and Trey's story will conclude in Pucked Up and Married.

I think they deserve the best and I hope they will get it too.

This is the third book in the Las Vegas Angels Duet series by Jessa York. Trey Turner is the star right wing player of the Las Vegas Angels startup hockey team. Trey meets Lexi and they end up married by an Elvis impersonator in a spontaneous wedding in Las Vegas. When the team owners find out about the marriage, Trey and Lexi refuse to annul the marriage and Trey and Lexi try to work out their marriage. As Trey and Lexi try to navigate through challenges of their fake marriage they start to develop romantic feelings for each other. The story ends in a cliffhanger to be continued in Pucked Up and Married. I really enjoyed this amazing contemporary romance novel.

I've been looking forward to Trey & Lexi's story since we first met Trey. He is a wonderful hockey player who had been injured in the previous book and I wondered what was going to happen to him and his ability to play hockey. While in Vegas he ran into a fellow player Lexi. She was trying her best to behave but they end up married! Neither were prepared for that and when their hockey teams managers want them to stay married for the sake of appearances what can you do? It was a great story & I can't wait to see what's next for them!

I liked the banter between Lexi and Trey and the fact that they liked to read together.

It was a good story, really, I wish however, that not every part of the plot was so up front. There was nothing for me to guess about or try and make theories of because everything that was happening or was going to happen, had big blinking signs there to show you exactly what was going to happen.

And the POV from the dad was so unexpected. And kind of unwanted, I had to stop myself from skipping it. Why was it put in to begin with?

One Night Puck was fantastic! After a great night of drunken fun, Trey and Lexi wake up married. Since there's no fraternizing between teams, they figured they could handle it. Ha ha! I loved them both. He was protective and such a great guy while She definitely kept him on his toes. This was well written with a great storyline and wonderful characters. Can't wait til the conclusion of their story.

I really enjoyed the first part of Lexi and Trey's story. They wake up together in Vegas after a night on the town to discover they got married the night before plus they each have new tattoos on their ring fingers.

This was a great addition to this hockey series, packed with romance, passion, humour, family and friends from the last story. I'm anxious to see what happens next with these two plus the rest of the entertaining characters.

Trey and Lexi are perfect together!

The chemistry of these two is felt through the pages. From the very first page I was hooked and could not look away. I had to know about this couple and how they would figure out their happiness. Trey is protective of Lexi as soon as they must face their families. Lexi and Trey’s mom are fast friends.

The wrench this author throws in kept my attention and I did not want their story to end. This series just gets better and better.

When you are in the sporting world and important to your sport the whole world knows what goes on with you.

So when Trey wakes up married to Lexi in Vegas-videos have already gone viral and the world knows all before they wake up.

I love how they try to do the right thing and all along the way they are falling in love for real-doing things real couples do-date, get a dog, live together, lie….

The book ends on a cliffhanger and book 2 I’m sure will be a bumpy ride for Trey and Lexi.

Trey & Lexi are so cute together. I loved the storyline of these two and it kept me hooked from the very first page.
Reason for the 4 stars was because it ends on a cliffhanger and now I need to wait to read the next one lol! I also wasn't so sure on the half brother/half sister thing but I quickly overlooked this when we moved onto other main parts of interest.
But overall I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes a hockey romance.
